I'm just curious as to the significance of the numbers on the figures? The single packs that I bought have the numbers as do the 3 packs that I got from a October Toys member. The 12 pack didn't have the numbers. My thinking was the non-numbered figures were from the earlier produced figures and they decided to add the numbering, but it would also make sense that they would stop the numbering because of costs as well. Not sure, any ideas?

I think they're just lot numbers, and one figure per pack is numbered - I bought the 12-pack and all 4 3-packs & each had one numbered figure. Haven't gotten the single packs, are those figs each stamped?

Which 12-pack figure is numbered? Hopefully Decayin' Dom on the bottom.

I got the four 3-packs. None of the figures exclusive to the 3-packs are numbered. I also bought some mystery 1 packs for the kids today and noticed the same thing with King Guts from the 3-pack not being numbered but he is numbered in the solo pack. I'll stay away from the solo packs from now on if they will always have the number stamp.

I didn't notice a stamp on any of the 12 pack zombies I got but I might have mixed them up with others before trying to figure out the number thing. How did your kids like them? My son, who is 12, LOVES these things...it reminds me of how I felt towards Muscle back in the day.

My kids are 8 and 2 and they are both really into these figures. The two year-old is a little too into zombies. He played with color mutating Z.O.M.B.I.E. so much that some of the outer color on his set wore off. I got him a Zombie Pet Shoppe for Easter too.

That's the only one I want from this set I think. I'm a boxing photographer (http://www.threatphoto.com), so I need to have that one if any ;)

He was the all time best headbutt using heavyweight. I was a science for him.

Threat - there is someone selling him for 3 bucks alone in the marketplace. Pricey but if he's the only figure you want it could be worth it.

Cool pics! Still no sign of these at store with the exception of the single packs...I'm glad someone helped me get a set but they went straight to my son, who loves them. My TRU checked the computer system for the warehouse and they don't even have them on order and so that makes me nervous.Hope Jakks didn't give up to Focus on Monsuno

Thanks! I still haven't seen them in the stores either, apart from the single packs at Walgreens. If you go on the JAKKS website under "Where to buy" it is showing Target and K Mart logos, so that is promising at least.

http://www.jakks.com/slug-zombies-products.html

Anyone seen any sign of these at those other stores yet?

Checked a few stores for these as well today and nothing but from what I have been reading seems most of the items are due to hit most shelves April/May 2012...least around here. Don't know how much truth there is to it as some have already found them in stores. Search continues...

It states on the Jakks Pacific Website under the single blind packs "Over 40 figures in the first year alone prove for high collectability and excitement." Wonder why the reversal from the 100+ Zombies.

Yeah, 100+ in one year did seem way too ambitious. Maybe they are going to try to get the initial wave more widespread distribution first and push back their initially planned schedule.
