Theft, bribery, extortion, sexual favors...

What are, things Rid does to pay for his toys?

I knew MOTUC was expensive, but sheesh.

I really like what you guys have done with it, and the material for the buildings is probably my favourite indy/indie/however you spell it material to date. GG

...some of the Yowie chocolate eggs

I've been picking those up at World Market for the past year or so and this is the only mention I've ever seen of them. 4/5 I got were animals but recently I pulled one of the "Yowies". Not really my style but I like that they're each based on Aussie animals, you actually got the coolest one IMO (platypus). Interestingly the ones I've seen has no visible molding on the outside of the chocolate, just looks like a blob covering the plastic shell. Your photo makes them make way more sense. Hilarious about the Kinder copyright though.

Went to World Market since their website says they should be there.  Sure enough.  I ended up getting 40+ since they were 75% off Easter Seasonal, which made them like 25 or 29 cents each.  I can tell you two additional things that do not bode well for the product.  First, I have been there a couple times since Easter and I never realized that these were capsule toys covered in chocolate.  If anything, I thought they were just chocolate/candy -- as the foil packaging does not really indicate that there is a toy inside.  Second, this long after Easter -- with this kind of discount -- we really shouldn't be able to find so many.  In other words, no one seems to want them.

The ratios are seriously skewed.  With 40+ capsules, I fully expected one full set (6 different Yowie plus 18 different animals).

Anyway, I got a total of 6 Yowie in 3 sculpts.  The ones I got are:

Boof (cousin of the bandicoot) X3

Ditty (cousin of the wombat, also stepchild of The Lorax) X2

Rumble (cousin of the kangaroo) X1

The Animals I got are:

African Grass Owl X2
Alpaca X3
American Bison X1
Brown Bear X2
Caracal X1
Common Clownfish X3
Emperor Penguin X2
European Rabbit X5
Fennec Fox X0
Galapagos Tortoise X0
Giant Anteater X2
Giant Panda X3
Gray Wolf X2
North American Beaver X3
Platypus X3
Polar Bear X0
Red Kangaroo X1
Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat X0

So, I am still missing 3 Yowie and 4 animals. I wish they had included at least one invertebrate, so there would be something I would look forward to getting in quantities.  I guess the wolf is okay, one more and I will have a 3 Wolf Moon.  The Bison would be cool in a herd, instead I keep getting a herd of rabbits. Maybe I could do a Watership Down scene, after all these are European Rabbits.

Also, if anyone wants the capsules, let me know.  They are the tightest-fitting snap-shut toy capsules that I have ever seen.  Kinda cool looking with their odd shape.

Don't ask about the chocolate.  I already ate it all. Mmmmmmm....

Yeah! I saw one on here somewhere, and ran into one on eBay for a decent price. I loved Little Shop of Horrors when I was a kid, and Chewlian is known as "Audrey III" now, haha

These did not come in the mail, but they are too great not to share...plus such a lucky killer find. My fiancee came home from one of the local antique/junk malls with these for a damn good price. Well well worth it and I was very awestruck. These are Wacki Balls, in case you don't know...one of the more rare Mad Ball knockoffs...they are actually worth MORE than the original mad balls! So awesome. I really want to keep them but will probably sell them off since I need the money more right now. I'm still on the fence about it.

I know exactly what you mean too, Riddler....I almost always regret the rare toys I end up selling. We are moving this weekend though and I just found out I need to buy a stove on top of all the other expenses! We will see...

I got a few more little Yokai.  Lie many other figures, they're theoretically meant to be tethered to cell phones or whatnot.  In this case, these figures are actually held together by those tethers - the Tsuchigumo's skulls, or the Kosenjobi's plume of flame underneath its skull.

Tsuchigumo - a cat-faced spider that has eaten so many people it just spills out skulls when you cut it open.

Tsuchigumo03.png

Kosenjobi - the ghostly flames that hover over abandoned battlefields.

Kosenjobi01.png

I've recently been picking up a lot of Walking Dead Mystery Minis to assemble a care package for my zombies-and-funko-loving aunt, who's having a tough time lately.  I ended up with this double, who fits perfectly as a Japanese Onryo ghost:

Onryo.png

Also, from the Heroes of the Storm minis, Diablo and Tyrael!

Diablo_1.png

Tyrael.png

And this minotaur shreddin' on a heavy metal axe:
Minotaur.png

And the Witch Doctor:
WitchDoctor.png

And Kerrigan:

Kerrigan.png

I also picked up some more Mcfarlane Walking Dead mini figures.  You can see a lot of the new figures in these two pictures:

Bune, He Who Controls The Dead

Bune-Zombies01.png

Laboratory Outbreak

LaboratoryOutbreak.png

This little lizard came as a bonus with the Yokai.

Yaeyami-Island-YonagumiClimbingLizard.pn

And finally, from Shin Megami Tensei, here's a demon I also own a Demon's Chronicle figure of, Belphegor:

Belphegor-Toilet02.png

...Wait a second, why is he on a toilet?  His classical art puts him on a wheeled throne, and the Demon's Chronicle figure puts him on a metal throne.  So what gives?  Well, first off, that wheeled throne looks a lot like a toilet with a shield next to it.  But ignoring that, Belphegor is based on Baal-Pelor, a regional Canaanite god mentioend a couple of times in the Bible. Though the exact details of worshiping the god of Pelor have been lost to history, tradition persists that it was somehow related to excrement.  And thus, a pooping demon actually fits.  Man, those guys did their homework.
