Kiseki no Gyakuten Fighter means Miracle Comeback Fighter, not Ultimate Comeback Fighter.

Kinnikuman's about to die and you're concerned about a simple typing error? How can you be so heartless, man?!?!

Holy Crap, what a twist of an end. Now what's to happen next week? End of the Kinniku line, or something also as unexpected?

From that dream, anime!Mantaro wakes up. When he learns all his other friends dreamed what he dreamed, and enjoyed it, he punches them all in the face.

The End.

Oh, Kinnikuman; in the beginning, you were a loser no one cared about; cared about so little you were so easily mistaken for a pig. But then the '80's came, and with each Choujin you defeated, you gained all of our respect. During that time, you became known as the "Ultimate Comeback Fighter"; but there's no coming back now, is there?

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!

Kiseki no Gyakuten Fighter means Miracle Comeback Fighter, not Ultimate Comeback Fighter.

( ` —´)

Kiseiki = miracle gyakuten = comeback... Kenni, I want to know if I am right.^^

To back these two up, yes, "Kiseki" is a miracle, and a "gyakuten" is a reversal or comeback. The "gyaku" is the key point, as it means "reverse". "Kiseki no", by the way, means that the noun "miracle" becomes adjectival. This can be shown as "miraculous" as I tend to, or technically, as Tubba-san uses it. It just needs to be made clear that "miracle" is being used as an adjective.

If we did want to say "Ultimate Comeback Fighter", we could say "Kyuukyoku no Gyakuten Fighter". There are other ways too, like "shuukyoku". In particular, it's the kanji for "kyoku" that emphasises it, as this means "ultimate / final", what with "ultimate" meaning the last in a sequence (hence words like "penultimate" or "antepenultimate".)

Former resident song translator, and as a result, probably the distant, insignificant relative of the translation family on this board.

Update (7/1/2012 [7th Jan]) - Years away can calm a mind down quite well. I don't think of myself as some maligned martyr of the site. Rather it's just that I was unfortunately caught by the mudslinging of a rather unpleasant (and unprofessional) translator, who didn't like people taking the spotlight away from him, particularly if they happened to actually be able to properly translate work, as opposed to him. Nevertheless, despite the fact that all my work was my own, I got constantly accused of plagiarism, thanks to this unpleasant individual constantly saying how I stole his work. (When rather, it was going to end up being the other way round.)

I'm a lot more forgiving about the whole ideal, with how I ended up getting treated on this forum, as a result of this incident, but at the same time, I am still not in any mind to come back and join in again, nor will I uplaod any more of my translation work on here. This includes any of my old work, or my newer and much more accurate work. Some may see this as being petty, spiteful or based off an old grudge, and you may be right. However, I thought I'd explain things a little.

The worst thing you can do right now is have hopeful thinking for something good to happen. Numerous times us users had hope for something good to happen in this arc, only to be massively disappointed with Yudely-chu doing something horrible.

It's the basis of what I troll in this thread. I have given up on hopeful thinking for this manga, and I am better off that way.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Bibinba'a Tears challenge your Neptuneman Asplosions!

You know I sort of wish Neptuneman kept his "bomb in a pill" about now for the stupidity he's probably going to go through to make the Time Choujin win the semi-finals. Maybe he can give one to Mammothman too and the whole cast can dine on mammoth steaks before the finals...

But Mammothman has to be alive for the Throne arc!

They care about fan fic plot devices, Mari Dramaz, and mewb enhancement.

They still do care... about making crappy plot choices. I don't find anything wrong with that though! It's fun when there is failure!

As I see it, all temporal anomalies will probably be fixed by Chaos assumably (or if Thunder & Lightning repent) by the end of the arc so the Throne will occur as planned.

I was wondering when that song would come up.

Does that mean that the photo Choujin from back in the revived Choujin Olympics would sing "I'm Just a Sweet Transvestite"?
