Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Just one picture from 2chan today. ):

After a long while, I can actually be of use for once. Chaos is saying about his fight with the 20 Million Powers, and he seems to know a secret about the Time Choujin, as one asks "What do you know?!" He says something about the Time Choujin being in this world ("Kono yo ni Jikan Choujin ga/ka?" Can't quite make it out fully, as I'm still quite tired.) He then goes on to say "Omae-tachi futari dake dato..." something or other. It IS early, for me, so I'm not in fully functioning mode. By my reckoning, Chaos is saying that in each of his fights it was always those two there, or something.

Edit: His 20 Million Powers speech bubble reads: "Nisenman Powers to no tatakai de mada ore ga Kinnikuman Great III (Three) wo nanotte ...tteita toki." I just need to know what that last kanji is.

Former resident song translator, and as a result, probably the distant, insignificant relative of the translation family on this board.

Update (7/1/2012 [7th Jan]) - Years away can calm a mind down quite well. I don't think of myself as some maligned martyr of the site. Rather it's just that I was unfortunately caught by the mudslinging of a rather unpleasant (and unprofessional) translator, who didn't like people taking the spotlight away from him, particularly if they happened to actually be able to properly translate work, as opposed to him. Nevertheless, despite the fact that all my work was my own, I got constantly accused of plagiarism, thanks to this unpleasant individual constantly saying how I stole his work. (When rather, it was going to end up being the other way round.)

I'm a lot more forgiving about the whole ideal, with how I ended up getting treated on this forum, as a result of this incident, but at the same time, I am still not in any mind to come back and join in again, nor will I uplaod any more of my translation work on here. This includes any of my old work, or my newer and much more accurate work. Some may see this as being petty, spiteful or based off an old grudge, and you may be right. However, I thought I'd explain things a little.

Sorry I meant that last kanji, from the sentence, where it was missing. I know "toki" is "time".

It's a bad scan of a complex kanji, but I'll see if I can figure it out.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure it's "Sen", radical 62, kanji 2037 in The New Nelson. That would make it "Tatakatteita", from tatakau, "fight".

... Having just seen that "Tatakai" was in the speech bubble, already, I really should have been able to figure that one out. Never try translating early in the morning.

Okay, the sentence altogether:

"Nisenman Powers to no tatakai de mada ore ga Kinnikuman Great III (Three) wo nanotte tatakatteita toki."

"In the battle with the 20 Million Powers, the time when I was still fighting, calling myself Kinnikuman Great III."

EDIT: I think I have an idea, an informed guess, on what was going on in that panel. Chaos is now fully aware that he, too, is a Time Superman, and when asked, he tells the two that he figured it out in the fight with the 20 Million Powers.

EDIT (again): I can clarify this. This IS what Chaos says.

"Kono yo ni, Jikan Choujin ga omae-tachi futari dake dato omottara, oomachigai da..."

"When you thought that in this world, only you two were Time Supermen, that was a big mistake..."

So I'd say that Chaos isn't going bad. He's getting on an even playing level with the other two, and is letting them know that he knows what he can now do.

Maybe the Time Supermen revelation made him realise he was going to have to do the Time Warp again, and so he became just a sweet transvestite. One that can German Suplex someone.

Except for one problem: Chaos isn't played by Tim Curry.

You cannot be a sweet transvestite without being played by Tim Curry.

As amusing as this conversation is, I'm almost positive that second image is a flashback to the time where Thunder and Lightning attacked Chaos' village when he was a child.

First image:

Chaos: Omae-ra no me wa douyara ...ana (most likely "Kagiana" or "Keyhole", not that I can see it that clearly) no you da!
Lightning (I honestly don't remember which is which, how awful of me): Ko-Kore wa...

Chaos: It seems like you guys' eyes are like your keyholes!
Thunder/Lightning: Th-This is...

Second image:

Thunder: Bouya... Imasugu yatteyatte mo ii ga ore-tachi wa sono ... ni Neptuneman & Mammothman combi to... Shijou saikyou (written with "kyou" meaning "misfortune", apparently can mean "most vicious") saiaku...
Lightning: Wakatta!

Thunder: Boy... Just do it immediately, already(?)
Lightning: I knew it!

And as it's late, I'll have to leave it there, as my eyes are tiring and it's harder to spy the kanji, in the scans. At the very least, Chaos is onto the other two.

Alright I've been lurking for awhile now and decided to sign up and start posting. On the subject of Thunder and Lightning has there been any reason given for them doing any of the things they've done outside of generic bad guy reasons like "Because were evil!" or "Were going to take over the world!" I've read a few things on the Kinnikuman wiki, this forum, and I can't read Japanese but I've been looking at the raw scans at mangahelpers and all I know is this much.

1. Travel back in time to after the tag arc of the original Kinnikuman series and screw with history by killing Robin Mask and prevent Kevin Mask from being born. Seems that Kevin not existing is the important part because Robin being saved by the time traveling new generation and Alisa tacking the hit instead is good enough for them. Plus they didn't try killing Robin again after that nor did they kill any of the other legends before moving on to...

2. The Choujin Tag Tournament trophy which they seem to want because it has some weird plant growing on the bottom of it that if you eat it or the seeds from it you get a huge power boost and/or magic healing powers.

Beyond that has there been any hints of any kind of what they hope to accomplish with all of this or does anyone have any kind of theory of any other goals they might have other than the obvious world conquest stuff?
