This is the greatest mail day ever! Over 1000 figures!
But the real, hard-hitting question is, are they enough to fill a bathtub? Maybe even enough to have a collection of... one million MIMPs?!

That's actually how I cleaned them and yes they do fill it.

So I don't know who all ended up winning one of these, I bid on 3 and only won this guy. Surprisingly no one else bid on this one, so I got it for 9.00 bucks. That seems extremely cheap for this. I would be interested in finding out who else won one of these and how much they had to pay...I'm sure the sunshine's went high. It would be interesting seeing which sculpts got more bids. This guy is one of my favorite figures, so I count myself lucky!

#136 was the one other than #23 that I was watching. #136 has always been among my 10 favorites.
Congrats on the win. I was surprised that one didn't get more bids too. I've always been surprised in the lack of interest in the sealed Quik figures. I'd rather have any of my favorite figures than the Quik tin, but an empty tin sells for like $300.

I picked this one for $9 as well! I thought I'd have to fight for it. It's my first Nestlé fig...I was afraid the plastic was going to be hard and his fist was gonna punch through the film.So I don't know who all ended up winning one of these, I bid on 3 and only won this guy. Box of Korean Bomberman Ddakji (little flat rubber toys). These are my favorite find from this lot. Each little box comes with two figures and stickers. There are 30 little boxes total and it came with two postcards/sticker checklists.

Over last weekend, there was a city fair. Along with running a booth (I am a carny now, mua ha ha), throwing darts for a stuffed animal (I love throwing darts), and eating my yearly funnel cake (any more would kill me), I also found a table with some knockoff LEGO and Pokemon, and... something possessed me. The LEGO look almost 100% legit, but there are issues - the waist-body connectors are non-standard, for example.
The problem with Minecraft is, it never seems to fit in with a photorealistic background. This zombie is hilariously awesome, though.
This is Pythor from Ninjago. Apparently, he plays a big role on a cartoon.
Ludicolo is a duck pineapple cactus with a sombrero. I love him.
Gothitelle is not a Pokemon, she's just an emo teenager who decided to rename herself "Darkravyn." She also writes Twilight fanfiction in which she is Bella.
Machoke has a fetish that may one day result in an embarrassing death in a hotel room.
Grimer should probably have arms, but he seems happy like this.

I dig duck-cactus.

It's time for... BLIND BOX MANIA! Today is going to be divided into a few categories:
-Minecraft Minis. I don't play the game, but these blocks little guys are strangely appealing. I'm satisfied for the time being, though I will keep an eye out for the next few sets. I have nothing that fits their pixellated look, backdrop-wise, but that's all right.
-Supernatural Mystery Minis - It's one of those urban fantasy shows. I'd love to get the annoyingly rare Hellhound, but for now? These are surprisingly creepy, considering that all Mystery Minis are creepy
-Walking Dead Mystery Minis - See above, only replace stuff with "zombies."
-Fallout Mystery Minis - Just one (because the best ones are Gamestop exclusives), but it's a doozy.
-Game of Thrones Mystery Minis - again, just one, but it's the one I wanted.
-Sci-Fi Mystery Minis: Located one I had wanted from last year. Yay!
From Minecraft, we've got Steve? in diamond armor. Turns out diamonds are blue!
A zombie in iron armor.
A zombie pigman, who is surprisingly grisly for less-than-8-bit.
A Charged Creeper. Creepers are strange, potentially-phallic plant monsters that explode like dynamite. When charged, they gain electric force fields, because the world hates you.
An Undead Horse
A Cave Spider
Some bats, which are not hostile.
A chicken, which looks like a duck, I swear.
A Magma Cube, which... I guess is a living chunk of lava. Or an accordion.
And finally, a Ghast, which is the best ghost since Pac-Man.
From Supernaural, we've got a trifecta of humanoid-types. Sam & Dean WInchester, brothers who fight evil, versus Crowley, who's pretty much the boss demon, and only manages to not be the main villain because worse monsters keep popping up.
Kevin Tran and Lilith. Kevin is so ordinary that he has to share some shelf space, and Lilith... y'know, creepy bloody children are no longer the sole property of The Walking Dead. Of course, she's a massively imortal demon-monster, just like all children.
Castiel, an angel with a cool trenchcoat
The Vanir, an ancient pagan god that inhabits a scarecrow body when it demands sacrifices. You can't kill it, you have to burn down the tree it uses to arrive in this world.
From The Walking Dead, This is the Eye Socket Walker. Self-explanatory!
And Michonne, who walks into this brutally realistic story by killing zombies with a katana.
Viserion, from Game of Thrones, who's a cute widdle dragon.
The Metaluna Mutant, which remains one of the best movie monster designs of all time - it's also the "newest" classic Universal Monster, too.
And finally, from Fallout, we've got the Grim Reaper Perk, which is the greatest toy ever made.

These gold packs are pretty cool.
Yeah, they are! I was surprised that they only ran a short set, though. Generally their waves are six sets, and there were a lot of other figures that could have gotten the gold treatment... I'm hoping the next series have subterranean goombas, more of the koopalings, as well as tanooki leaf Mario and Luigi. NSMB2 also had a whole new range of "Dry" characters that would be awesome to have, and I'm still crossing my fingers for a Bowser's Castle playset.

Yeah. I know next to nothing about how Jakks is releasing these (quantities, et al). Is it short-packed or something?
Posted 04 October 2015 - 10:48 AM
Distribution on the entire third series is spotty, and as I recall there isn't even the boxed 6" figures for this series. Goomba isn't a chase figure or anything, but because there's five figures in that wave instead of four, there's less room to go around and he's only two per case, along with Peach and pink Yoshi. Surprisingly Fox isn't shortpacked like Link was.
