What's in the six pack that makes it more than twice the cost of a three pack?

I don't know why the six pack is sixty dollars and not fifty. But from the cards we can finally tell what the black critter is, a panther. The card makes it look pretty cool. The card for the killer whale on the other hand, looks hilarious.

The official Takara website has been updated with the November releases. The card for the wolf looks awesome! Also, look on the back of the turtle's card. It looks like it could either be the zebra or maybe an unannounced seahorse. The owl's armor's paint job also looks way better than we've seen.

Do you have a link? For some reason all I got was what was released in October.

I've a built in secret link in my signature image so in case you click on the BS Falcon figure you'll instantly get to the Official Takara Beast Saga website. (Don't tell anyone) :)

Its just a gimmick I created for my own to be able to switch to some other sites more easy.

But yes there are some cool figs being released again and its fun to see the different design of their cards. And did you notice the different weapons?

I find it interesting that here, where all the individual products are listed:
http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/beastsaga/information/index.html

The Deluxe set has not only the 6 new figures, but also the Non-Leader figures from the first 3 sets together in a single set. It's interesting because the secondary characters (Big Serow, Jidam, etc) weren't released as individually carded figures. It makes me think that this deluxe set is aimed at people who didn't buy the original starter sets, and will include all twelve of the figures for people who just bought the boosters. Another thing, on the Character page, the characters who were released as in the Blind Packs have secondary cards, the Burst Version. Well, now, those secondary characters from the Starter Sets also have a Second Card with them, but Captain Eagle doesn't even though Falcon and Bundot do, and, if you look on the information page, the Cards listed for those characters in the Deluxe set are the Burst versions of the secondary characters (They don't have different art, but they do have the Gold Text of the cards you would get with the Clear Burst versions)

@cowbattlebeast: Thanks for putting that up, not sure why it didn't work when I went there in the first place, but oh well, it works now!

@GJNL: Pretty sneaky, I like it! Thanks for that.

Does anyone have info on when the November figs are supposed to be released? It looks like the Rhino has different shoulders than what was initially shown.

Based on Amazon.JP which is pretty up to date when it comes to the exact release date its sheduled for the 10th of Nov. so it shouldn't be to far from that.

That makes a lot more sense than including six figures from previous releases.

I'm thinking this might be a joke... ;) Still just the DX starter set and the two figs.

These two would be cool though, wouldn't they?

He looks a little bit more light than the pics we've seen of Panikusu before and he certainly ain't the Rabbit I'm looking or had hoped for....
Some of the Clear figs look cool but its sad to see they didn't make somekind of chase item of it because now the gimmick of clear figs seems to die a little. They are ok but if they include these with the 100 expected figures we'll soon be about done having 50 clear figs and 50 normal figs. Think that wont be the case but we don't know.

Seeing these figs there is outside the fun looking Turtle (which will be the Nov. release) not a lot that really triggers me to get them.......

I'll have to get one of each, but man I really want the clear Gator and Eagle. And that turtle sculpt just keeps getting better every time I see it.

And I am digging the rabbit sculpt. Initially, I didn't know what I thought of him or the Kangaroo. But the more I have seen him, the more I am beginning to warm up to him. The way they have his face, I imagine him being similar in character to Basil Stag Hare from Redwall.

I wonder what the reasoning is for DST delaying the release of their Battle Beasts? By the time their Series 1 drops, we'll already have 40 or so regular BS figures and 12 or more clear BS figures. I like the BS figures better but am looking forward to the Tarantula and Moose from the DST line.

Cripes! That is awesome. I might have to buy a second one to display now. An empty box on the shelf won't do this time. Thanks for posting, can't wait for this one!

Also, a quick question for anyone who can answer: Are the vinyl figures going to be painted, or do they come plain as pictured? I figured they were pics of the prototypes, but I just wanted to make sure. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm not familiar with Japanese toys since Beast Saga is the first thing I've bought from overseas since I collected Gundam models several years ago.
