I want Ash.

....from army of darkness? Huge fan of that trilogy. TRU/KMart/Target/Walgreens still a negative on the 12 packs...search continues. Did however find the single packs at one of three walgreens I went to today, so I nabbed half a dozen.

Yup. I am a huge fan too. Even have the horrid smelling rubber necronomicon that came with the special edition dvds.

If you download the poster you can see all the figures and Ash is a flesh colored survivor. He's not named Ash of course but looks exactly like him and has a missing hand replaced with what looks like an electric carving knife.

I just checked Entertainment Earth again and their pre-order listings have Wave 2 as available in April, Wave 3 in May, Wave 4 in July, Wave 5 in September, and Wave 6 in October. I'm guessing it's not going to actually happen like that, but still interesting to see.

Nice, Ash! I did a kit bash of him a while ago, but never got around to picking up paint to primer him so he looks pretty funky, well that and my limited talent.

Mini gin Max is awesome, that guy is a sexual tyrannosaurs.

Im gonna try and do a search for these tomorrow. Hope I can find some. How many figures are there for series 1? Is it just the 12 or are they more? I know the case can hold 32 figs. What area of the stores would they be located at though? By the trading cards, boy aisle or in games?

There are 16 figures in Wave 1. The 12 that come in the 12-pack in addition to 4 figures that are sold exclusively in the 3-packs. I have seen reports of people finding them in different sections of Toys R Us, so you'll probably want to look a variety of places while there.

Teddy Terror -- I don't really know what this dude is, looks like a zombie hobo or something
Louie Fingers -- mob boss zombie

I think these are supposed to be 2 of the 3 Stooges (Teddy is Curly & Louie is Moe) along with Leo the Lifeless as Larry.

Just checked out TRU, Walmart, Target, Kmart, Meijer, and Wallgreens and none of them had anything. Kind of a shame after seeing how much of a parody line it was, really like the design of most of these figures.

So to get series one all we really need to buy is the 12 pack and some of the 3 packs?

Now if I could only find anything other than the singles :) Walgreens is the only place to have them so far around me, TRU looked them up on their computer and saw it but they didn't have any instore. They said they'd probably be in the "Collectibles" aisle (With all the Sonic and Halo items) I'm more likely to believe they'll be in one of the kiosks by the registers or by the candy aisles

Yep! In theory it should be pretty easy to get a complete set of each wave of these, but so far everything but the single-packs have been a tough find for most people.
