I hit 50,000 words in this year's NaNoWriMo, and in celebration, we've got:

 

Songbird from Bioshock: Infinite.  This is theoreticaly a Funko PoP, but it's just plain huge, heavy, and not proportioned like the others.  It's awesome!

 

"Songbird, Songbird, see him fly, drop the children from the sky. When the young ones misbehave, escorts children to their grave. Never back-talk, never lie, or he'll drop you from the sky!"

 

 

And, I got one of McFarlane Toys's new not-LEGO sets: The Iron Throne from Game of Thrones.  I need more medieval castle-esque backdrops, and this one fits so, so nicely.

i have been waiting and waiting for this since i dogged the warpo guys to release more after the pre-order sold out stupidly fast. they added more and well......

the stars finally aligned and my GID variant of warpo's 12" "great old one" sculpt finally arrived after a couple months pushed back

Also: New WWE Mighty Minis. Interesting fact: the ropes are rigid plastic, and not actually ropes. The figures are a tad bigger than expected, but still fun. I'm stoked to have a Seth Rollins.

The local Gamestop had a sale on Skylanders and Disney Infinity - buy two used ones, get three free, with the used figures at about $5.  They want to clear the shelf space.  I WILL NOT GET ADDICTED TO SKYLANDERS, but I did pick up a few from what they had available.

And now for some Demon's Chronicle!  Series 11 was... odd.  Instead of straight-up mythology, they made female versions of several previous figures, implied to be witches possessed by the demons.  They come with two heads, one "human"(sorta) and one "demon" (usually a skull, but not always).  Most of them are strange and exploitative, though a few are good - female Amon, the crow witch, and the female grim reaper, for example, are cool.  And now we have Cerberus and Ukoback:

 

Cerberus - human head, Cerberus head.  She... looks like she came out of the wrong furry party, but that dog skull manages to tip her into the realm of creepy.

 

 

And Ukobach - Ukobach is a minor demon who keeps hell's furnaces lit, and also invented fried food and fireworks (best demon ever).  Comparing her to the original Ukobach figure from Vol. 1 is... you know, they say there's someone out there for everybody.  They make a nice couple?

I spent most of November in the hospital undergoing some pretty intense treatment for some very aggressive cancer. When I got out there was one very surprising ray of light.  Someone from here had anonymously mailed me these three figures...
