Hot Topic exclusive gremlin in the center.  Hot Topic is impossible for me to get to, so I am at the whims of ebay sellers.  I don't want to think about what I paid -- but I could have got 4 of the regular Stripes for that price!

I purchased one - one - blind-boxed Doctor Who Tiny Titans figure, saying, "I am only going to buy one, but it would be nice if it turned out to be the Dalek that's opening up, revealing the mutant inside."

Score.

Two bags today.

My first Neclos came in from Edmasta.

Also got this lot of "Rubber Toys" from eBay.

Not sure how many of these are authentic besides the Neclos.

I know the MUSCLE is a boot, unfortunately.

I'll post this in the Toy ID thread and would appreciate some help with these.

The regular Warpo Cthulhu (not the GID version) is at Half Price Books for $80.00.  There are a number of promos going right now where you could essentially get it for about $60.00.  Each store was sent 2 or 3.

They are not (necessarily) sturdy at all.  They are not vinyl.  They are not a playable sort of plastic like Playmobil or Imaginext.  They are a hollow hard plastic. Very lighweight.

They stand a mighty 12 inches tall.

Homies Zombies are readily on ebay for $7.50 per set of 8 shipped.  I've had them on my watch list for like 6 months.  LOL

Also, today I got a friendly Marshmallow monster!

The wings are hard plastic and the connector glued in seems a little fragile.
However the body seems to be made.out of a pretty resilient rigid vinyl.
While not Sofubi, it seems pretty sturdy.

I preordered my GID Cthulhu back in Sept for about $80 from ToyWiz.com
The good news is they are in stock now. The bad news is that the price has gone up to $130
http://www.toywiz.com/glowcthulhu.html

Unless you absolutely must have glow in the dark, go with the cheaper standard version.

Sure enough.  The wings of the Warpo are a hollow hard plastic, but the body, head, arms, and legs are all hollow vinyl.

So, maybe I will take "looks cheap" off of my reasons for wanting to return mine.  I still have plenty of other reasons.  Simply put, I do not have room to store this 12-inch figure, muchless actually display it.  And I'd rather not have that much money tied up in a single figure right now.

I saw this guy in the glass case at the nearest HPB.  You have to get the employee to come unlock the case, so you get that feeling like "ooh, this must really be special."  I do, anyway.

It was the only one in the case, and I was thinking at the time that it must have been a purchase from a member of the public. Considering this -- combined with all that stuff I said about getting it from $80 to $60 -- I bought it.

A week later, I went back and was surprised to see that there was another one in the case. Ha!  Not a buy from the public, that is for sure.  Then, I made the effort to go to a different HPB, and sure enough they had three lining a shelf -- not even in a glass case.  Not so special after all.

Then I also found out (on here) that there is a GID version.  GID is my jam!  While I won't be paying that GID price, frankly, I would rather not have any if I can't have the one that I really want.

Is that twisted collector logic? I don't know. Maybe someone can relate.

Now, if someone spots the GID one at HPB, please let me know ASAP! Hahaha!

Also, if you ever see the smaller figures (like Spawn of Cthulhu) at HPB, please let me know -- it is a PITA by bus, but I will try to get over there!

Got this stuff recently...also just scored a Stonedar/Rokkon set for my wife just in time for Christmas!

IMG_0714_zpsehc8amah.jpg

I can't say enough about these books....astounding effort, really takes me back to that time. Seriously, I nearly choked up at times.

IMG_0716_zpsl7be72p8.jpg

Always one of my favorite depictions of these characters.  He-Man is a lame-o and irrelevant, but just look how Norem depicts Fisto's barrage and Clawful's reaction....such detail...can almost feel/hear that wall busting forth under that 60 pound iron fist!   Whiplash is screwed and he seems to know it.

IMG_0717_zpszcnqrja2.jpg

I need this badly.  I'm going to have one made for me, one day.

IMG_0719_zpsdixsry5t.jpg

Also these guys - Mighty Kong and Gigantor together at last!

Guys, TinyPink hooked me up majorly. Not only did he give me a very generous trade offer, he also sent everything I remotely expressed interest in (and then some) as freebies! He threw in some candy, too. Is TinyPink really Santa Claus in the off season?

This came in as a trade from NeonGreen. It's all about the "color" trades this weekend!

So with the help of the LRG community, I've gone from 8 MUSCLE to about half the set in about a month. Thanks everybody!

2 Tomy Starriors Wastors/Destructor Buzzsaw!!

Figure on left is VG with some sticker wear. 2 figures in the comic are circled in pen.

Figure on right was mint in damaged package, [but I was compelled to carefully remove it from the card and apply the decals -with tweezers `(^-^)] Now it's mint/decals applied with comic, decal sheet and damaged package.

Buzzsaw was one of my favorite toys back around '84 until Mr. Gordon took it away from me in 4th grade math class!

--You can go suck it Mr. Gordon!! -Now I have TWO OF THEM! :KS:
