Got some S3 MIMP in from an Instagram deal.

Took 3 months and a lot of hurdles, but I got a great deal.

The dino brites were basically freebies.

Jimmy sent me the Deku Kid and Purple Pikmin a short while ago, and today I found a Yellow Pikmin in the wild. (Have I ever mentioned how over-priced these things are up here?)

Top heavy. Very little articulation. Gun very difficult to fit into the hands. I do like them, but they are mediocre at best.... In the shell, they are more satisfying for me... I actually have the only 3 I've seen in the areas around me. I've looked and looked...called and called. They aren't anywhere...seems a very small release.

They're $24.99 here in Canada, so I'm assuming probably between $17.99 and $19.99 in the states.

Went back to my local shop today and grabbed this playset up!

Got it knocked down to $50, and had $35 in trade credit available so I paid $15 out of pocket for this bad boy. Very happy with this transaction!

 

I never thought I'd own the playsets due to their size and the obvious high-cost to ship to Canada, but I've got 2/3 locally so far!

got a double mail day!

 

First I got more monster wrestler in my pocket toys including the incredibly offensive Congo King. I've almost got half the series in only 2 lots so I'm happy thus far. 

Also got this super super cool full set of Kinnikuman keshi from the Georgia Coffee promotion. Love that capsules they come in and the sculpts themselves. 

I didn't open them all yet, so here's an (albeit small) picture of every sculpt. I will take more pictures if people are interested but they're seriously cool.

Imma just continue.  It's more fun to post December-January's craziness bit by bit than to just vomit it all on the forum in one post!

 

I snagged this one right after Christmas - there are three genuinely rare figures in Demon's Chronicle - each volume has one secret fogure, and the ones from vol. 1-3 are just... yeah.  I've shown off 1 (Naberius - three-headed dog) and 3 (Beelzebub - fly demon) before, but now I've got the one from 2!  It's SUPPOSED to be Lucifer - you know, Satan from before he fell, or even after if he appears as an angel of light (the name comes from a transliteration of a title in a passage in Isaiah - comparing an earthly king to Satan, or maybe just condemning said king).  

BUT... this is an angel with twelve wings.  The only one THAT matches it he Archangel Samael, who is the archangel of death, and who also tempts innocent people to sin despite residing in heaven.  So, the figure's got a dual role as either!  This ain't the first time - the figures for Dagon and Rahab are based on art of the Bishop Fish and Sea onk, respectively.

 

So, going with the Lucifer side - there he is faling from heaven, and in hell!

 

 

And as Samael - well, here he is as the angel of death!

After years of searching crappy fast food toy bins, here he is -  Rudy Bagaman!  I found him at the bottom of a mixed box covered in grime and ancient crumbs.  A soapy soak and a toothbrush scrubbing brought him back from the grave.  

(Although far from the rarest, he is one of the few non-raisin figures in the California Raisins line!)

I received the motherlode of packages today!

I got one surprise, out-of-the-blue package from Rubberhammer, and another package that was a trade with Smotemotem.

From Smote, I received a Transformer Decoy, as well as a custom figure I haven't seen before. The purple mound is the mold, so that's pretty cool/unexpected. It looks as you'd expect, but I'd never seen one before so that was really neat! Please excuse my awful photo. I couldn't get a clear picture of these guys to save my life. I took several.

I'm sure everybody recalls the now-ended "Want it" contest. In there, I put up a black digivolving Agumon figure with the statement that I probably wouldn't ever own it. (Due to perceived cost.) Well, Smotemotem just happened to have one available for trade! How random/awesome is that?
