I thought people liked the anime.

Only reason it didnt get more episodes is because the animation studio refused to do more episodes under 4Kids demands. 4Kids wanted them to work their censorship and edits into the original footage like with the second half of the anime. This confused watchers. Ricardo having a dMp tatoo instead of a devil chojin tatoo for example and everyone not having their niku.

I love love LOVE the anime to peices. It takes crap and shines it into gold and doesn't take a million years to get through (hi time chojin arc)

AT FIRST, but UM was 4kids most popular cartoon on the Fox Box (next to TMNT) at the time. Toei shizznit-canned the anime in Japan due to poor ratings (and did it two more times with the Nisei: UM seasons), but they had no reason to do it in America.

4Kids wanted them to work their censorship and edits into the original footage like with the second half of the anime.

4kids was still using the Fox Box at the time, and Fox TV wanted that done (according to what I read, but then again, 4kids). Other then the Japanese writing and the jungle outfits from the Six Pack arc, there wasn't much edited out of the anime (which is considered AMAZING since we're talking 4kids here).

The anime overshot the manga over here. Nobody would've cared unless they got the Japanese mangas first.

Meat and Kid had the forehead marks removed, but nobody else really had marks. Mantaro's only appeared during his Ultimate Muscle phase, and it's not really in every episode.

Poor Leopaldon. Big Body and his whole team should have had a better chance. Except Canonballer. Because his design sucked.

Seriously, Leopaldon had a TANK TURRET on his back and wrists. Seriously, he could have been one of the deadliest Chojin of all.

A JPEG image can be of the highest quality if it was put into Photoshop or GIMPed. The size is 151KB, but the image quality is superb. Someone in Japan must like GIMP.
