The orca and blue whale are pretty small characters. I think it's kinda weird that the Sea Tribe figs are small. The Sky Tribe figs are bigger than both the other tribes. I was looking forward to a massive blue whale. Also they painted his toes in the same color of his armor. I liked the look of him wearing sandals better.

I like the look of the rabbit. Also, I think the 2013 releases we've seen thus far look awesome. Especially the bull, armadillo, squirrel, and duck. Some goofy styles yes, but unique.

That's interesting... I really liked the 6-pack and I'm increasingly impressed with this line with each wave of figures.
I've actually been looking forward to the rabbit since he was first shown. I really like the look of the figure and his armor. One of my favorites from the land tribe so far. And this is coming from someone who considers Battle Beasts to be nearly equal to muscles as my favorite toys of all time.

For those of you who are interested in the first 2 promo figures you will be happy to learn that Takara-Tomy will offer more of them during the Jump Festa next month. Those who are able to attempt this event will be able to buy some items (second earth starter set BS-21, clear figures wave 2 BS-22 and the 2 new dices set BS-25 and BS-26) before their official release date. If I understand it well buyers will get promo figures for every 1 000 Yen purchase.

My deluxe set came yesterday, and I'm still loving these guys. The only figure I'm disappointed in is the Parrot, mostly due to a seeming lack of paint. I still like his sculpt, his flourished wings, with long (maybe metal?) Feathers matches his armor. The rest of the set and the two individual figures released I'm in love with, The Turtle, Owl and Whale especially.

However, in a completionists nightmare, my set was missing the leopard's card, and had two of the special ceolcanth cards. Has this come up with anyone else (double or missing cards?)

Amazon.jp has all of those slotted to release on December 28th except for the kangaroo. No word on that one yet

It's not the Armadillo, the name is different, something like Delicious Honda. If you look at the cards, the katakana in the Black Box above the quote at the bottom is the name of the Character saying the quote. Then, go to BBTS, and looking at the Armadillo's preorder his name, which is the third line of text it goes Kingdom, something, name on all these preorder pics, is something like Al Gyro.

Also the Head on the character on the Rabbit's card looks different from the Armadillo, sorta like he has a chef's hat.
