i don't doubt that we'll see another nick fury figure before long in a mass release format. maybe another three pack or something of the like. how about a black widow, nick fury, shield agent three pack? gives me a reason to own black widow. :D

i've been checking and re-checking for variants every time i'm out and about. i'm mostly limited to just the daredevil and electro variants since wave six hasn't hit here. but my eyes are open wide for you.

Daredevil and Electro Variants? You been seeing these? I havn't seen them at all. Only repack basic DDs, and the shiny trimmed Electros....Tons of them.

no, i haven't seen them, but as far as variants go, these are the ones i'm likely to see, since wave six has yet to rear it's ugly head around here.

Furyfiles seems to have always been 1 or 2 waves behind. I havn't tried since I entered Wave 4... Any new ones working? I have a feeling by next year the codes and site will be obsolete. Unless there is a huge take off in sales for the line this year.

I'm a little worried about the future of MU, it just doesn't seem like retailers are pushing it like they should. Some stores only have the one row or even in one case I saw one peg. I was at a Wal-Mart last week and there were parents there looking for an MU Spider-Man but there weren't any (sure the s.o.b. is a bane to us collecters but he sells, if you can keep him on the self around the holidays. Also I've seen SW at one store really this is another thing I could see racking in the holiday sales. Every pack in this wave and the last was designed to have at least one character from a movie. Hulk would sell, Spider-Man sells, Iron Man sells, and Wolverine sells.

Hopefully things look way up in other markets. I just don't want to see a good toyline end because of retail disintrest, not customer disintrest.

could it be that the stores don't need to push them? i mean, it seems to me that other than a few peg zombies this line is always sold out. the stores around here don't need to dedicate a ton of space for them because they move so fast. i know that when my area finally gets a new wave they're only around for like a week and then it's a barren wasteland.

Well my stores have been OVER stocked with em. My closest wal-mart has more than 6 pegs dedicated to them, then they had to stack them on the shelf below, and then stock some on a corner slot.

One Wal-mart has tons of them on the pegs, but never stocks the newest wave till most of the shelf stock is sold off. They often put them on sale to move em.

SW packs tend to sell quicker. I can tell alot of the single packs aren't moving right now though. The same figures have been sitting on shelves for a while now in my 2 favorite stores. I think a lot of these are being sold online as well. Hasbro's stock goes pretty quick when a new wave pops up on their site. Same with Toys'R'Us' online store.

Solid picks, throwing in that wasp with doom is a nice touch too. I can now scratch 5 and 1/2 figures off my list to complete my full Secret Wars cast.

As far as this goes, the only time I've ever seen these things move off the pegs is the first week of a release of a new wave, and the kmart and toys r us BOGO and 2 for $10 sales. The price is just too high. Too many collectors with vivid memories of figures in the last five years at 6 inchs with lots of sculpting and articulation goodness. a comic and a nice BAF piece selling for 9.99, for these things to sell well.

How to scale is this Wasp figure? Is she ever this large in the comics. The Wasp I remember is about the size of somebodys fist/hand.
Either way Secret Wars has been my favorite part of this line so far and with the last wave shown here it looks to stay that way.

Well, essentially Wasp can completely control her size, and grow up to 25 feet or more, or shrink down to Half an Inch. Given that 1/2 Inch in this scale basically make her way too tiny, I feel the 1 foot scale the figure has is okay. But if she were half the size it would be more accurate I'm sure. As you mentioned the size of a fist seems to be the normal scale of Miss Dyne, and in this case probably preferred. However I don't know how detailed they would have been able to make her if she were smaller. She's probably perfect for Legends scale though.

I totally agree that a completely in scale Wasp is a bit out of the question. Although I have thought of buying an HO scale figure and making a custom Wasp. I just think that would be a neat detail, especially if I ever get around to serious diorama building.

That Thing looks awesome, and just when are we going to get the Invisable Woman to complete my Fantastic Four.

I can't believe they are goin to wait until the final wave to give me issue five of Secret Wars.

My Walmart FINALLY put out all the awesome collector-oriented Hasbro exclusives, including Masterpiece Skywarp... and the Gigantic Battles sets! Those Icon-sized guys make the MU guys look like a joke by comparison. Wasn't tempted to buy either, but I did note that all the Goliaths were of the blue and yellow variety.

So, would we all agree that this is the best wave so far? 5 new characters, and 6 new sculpts! Can't go wrong with Doom, Storm, and Nightcrawler.

Wave 1 only gave us 2 new characters. (Thunderball, Klaw)
Wave 2 only gave us 3 (Cyclops, Magneto, Spider-Woman)
Wave 3 will give us 6, but where the heck are they! (Thor, Enchantress, Piledriver, Hawkeye, Mr. Fantastic, Ultron)
Wave 4 gives us another 5 + Wasp Accessory. (Dr. Doom, Storm, Nightcrawler, Bulldozer, Absorbing Man)

16 new characters, and 8 repaints/retools of already released characters. (Wolverine, Human Torch, Spider-Man, Hulk, Thing, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Costume Spider-Man)

:woot: New pics finally released.

Packed pics of Extremis Iron Man.. http://www.actionfig..._articleid=3825

Another Iron Man I'll be glad to own.

And complete photos of Secret Wars Wave 4! http://www.actionfig..._articleid=3826

Hmm... I feel like we missed Wave 3.. Also there are some slight disappointments with a few of these figs in my opinion.
