Had some luck on a business trip this week. A few Sunshines I rescued from the wild (shout out to A New Hope Comics in Madison) and a very special addition to the strange and mysterious THOR LORDS line on the left was waiting on my doorstep when I got back home. (Shout out to fkro for the heads up on that auction, I'd have totally missed it otherwise)

Holy Crap!
I totally had that octopus guy when I was a kid!
I never knew what he was from, and probably would never have remembered him, if not for this.

Last of my Masterpiece TFs came in this morning; Ultra Magnus! I think he is the second biggest MP released, not 100% sure; this thing is a blast to transform, tons of nice details. Included a LB for scale.

I had to walk away from Transformers after 119 of them........I think that's thee biggest line of toys ever.  So many variants, other lines, etc.  I only kept a few- Masterpiece Optimus (without the convoy), Masterpiece Megatron, a reissue G1 Optimus with convoy, and the Classics reissue of Devastator......

Sorry Mojo, Schleich mini T-Rex kills you in pretty much every department. You're good, but look at that dynamic pose/texturing/paint application...

Mono minis are cool, but this mini figure is the complete package.

The price? $3 apiece (if you can find a retailer that sells them as singles) is about what you'd pay for lesser blind-bagged toys from just about any of the major companies.

I've only seen them in boxed sets, that's probably why.

The TRU near me has those boxed sets for $15.99, which with puzzle, isn't that bad of a deal either. Four figures and a puzzle? Not terrible. I have seen the boxed sets online for over $20 though, and yeah, that is excessive. Most outlets online will allow you to buy singles, or all eight of last year's figures. Lots of options.

My MOTUSCLE slime can showed up today. Not usually a huge fan of translucent, but I make exceptions for my favorite color.

Thanks to our apanese Random Seller, I got the Ghoul & Gaki combi from Shin Megami Tensei.  So, like, a $20 figure for $5.

That's quite a sexy pose for a rotting corpse.

Gotta love his base.  Those are the Gaki.  They seem to be mangled.

My only souvenir, (from a local pick up), from my trip to Ottawa! An awesomely coloured Imperial Godzilla knock off. This is the smaller sized figure.

Jon sent me a seriously ridiculously awesome package. It came while I was away, and I'm finally settled enough today to take some pictures!

Please note: I forgot to take a picture of my red Turdle from The Ugglys. He's been put up so the kids didn't steal him and I forgot to snap his picture!

Dragons Dragons DRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGONS!

Well, two of 'em.

First up, the McFarlane Komodo Clan Dragon, from Series 1.  The little piece of terrain he comes with is one I have used in a TON of photos - but I gave most of my dragons to a friend (who didn't need the terrain), so it's nice to pick this guy up agian.  He's oddly hard to photograph well, but looks good in person.

KomodoDragon-Above.png

KomodoDragon-Face.png

KomodoDragon-Pounce.png

And one of the Hunter Dragons.  Now, this guy I did not own back in the day, and he's AWESOM (with one exception).  His pose is fantastic, his design is unique, but... his terrain is awful.  The tree is unfinished.  He has clear plastic to support him every other dragon would have had more terrain) which is not stable, and the little men break and die easily.  The swordsman did not survive.  BUT... other than that, this dragon is really cool.  He also sits on the ground without his tree, too.

Didn't have time to post pics, but picked up another 18 long boxes of comics for my store, a MASSIVE, like 15' wide and 15'+ tall Eastern Star banner (female masons, hand p[ainted, most likely from the 1930s-1940s); no clue what I'm going to do with it; and my Transformers Victorian set came in (generic pic from the website below)
