Heeeeeey those two big guys look familiar! I wonder if they have the same hand issue the one I used to own did. It was an annoyance and 4H NEVER got in touch to help me out with it, but otherwise I thought that was a cool figure.

I didn't pay much attention to these guys because even though I liked them, I didn't think I'd ever get the chance to own some. (Or me being a cheap-ass, wouldn't shell out for them.)

It's harder to notice on these solid color guys, but if yours have this problem, you'll see that when you line up the sculpting to get the veins on their arms to match, the hand shape doesn't match the wrist's. If you try lining up the shape, then you break up the sculpt. It's not exactly a dealbreaker, but it bothered me enough that once I realized it had the issue, I knew I'd never forget. It also helped that I realized the Power Lords line didn't interest me enough to pursue all the exclusives and I couldn't even get the other matching guy from NYCC on the secondary market because like an idiot I didn't buy the set of two like I clearly should've at the con.

 

And what the hell are those sweet Primal and Rhinox figures from!

What colour is the one that you have?? If he needs a new home we might be able to work something out.

Everything in the picture, save the Power Lords dudes, are from that Japanese power seller. No idea what the BW figures are, or where they come from, (Japan, of course, but beyond that? No clue). I got Rhinox for a single buck, but somebody was fighting me for Primal. Still managed to get him for $2.50 though, which I still consider a steal because I've never seen either of them.

That lot in general was pretty sweet, I've never seen any of the items I picked up, and I got them all for $1 except for the chibi Barroth, (again, a totally new sight), and Primal. That dude has some crazy good items, you just have to wade through the 50 pages of awkward anime girls.

Oh sorry, I probably didn't make it clear enough that I HAD one of the NYCC Power Lords dudes. I sold him off some time ago along with some of the smaller soldiers I did manage to score from the 4H website, the grey and beige ones I think. Sometimes I'll get like that where a line frustrates me to the point of dropping it completely, but I think that was the last such incident in recent memory.

 

Sucks that you don't know more about those Beast Wars minis, they look quite cool but I don't think they're painted counterparts of those clear ones I see around everywhere of some original BW and BW II cast and otherwise don't recognize them. Will have to slog through Yahoo! Japan sometime to look.

Sweet! Nice find there, I didn't expect TF Wiki to be so thorough as to include a line like this. Cool figures too, but my favorites are definitely the BW Neo guys with the extra minis of their alternate modes. Kinda SD, distinctly painted like the characters, look like absolute winners to me.

While I was browsing Ebay looking through Spawn figures I came across a set of 5 mini figures called the Phlebiac Brothers. It's some exclusive that I couldn't pass up. I'm halfway thinking of opening them to display. But I don't know...

We got ourselves a new McFarlane Dragon with the first Hunter Dragon!  Resembling a tiger, and with spearlike wings (tigers have spear wings growing from their back. trufax), it also comes with one of my most used terrain bases (I had a ton of dragons back in the day, ended up giving most of them to a dragon-loving friend, but kept the terrain).
