Today's acquisition.
Super7 MOTU MUSCLE box set in yellow.
These should still be up on the Super7 store for anybody that wants a set.
Apperently people are still getting scammed by scalpers on these.

Ordered mine so I hope soon to have them.

I found some Final Fantasy VII keshi on eBay at a decent price.

If you only had a Red XIII and Cait Sith, you'd be in possession of all my favourite FF7 characters!

The FF keshi stuff is awesome.

GIVE THOSE UFO ALIENS TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Ahem. Uhh, nice haul!

If you're looking I might be able to get you hooked up. I know my LEGO guy has more of the droids, and possibly another complete blue dude!

Speaking of aliens:

We have this local selling app called "Varage Sale", (not sure if it is elsewhere), and this dude had an Independence Day miniature compact/playset thing for $5. It wasn't too far, and it has everything except for the floppy disc, (sheeeeeeit).

Attached File  ID minis1.jpg   334.84K   4 downloads

You pop open the alien battle suit to find New York City, complete with destructible buildings. (I don't know a lot about NYC, but are those the twin towers? I think I own a toy that is designed for you to blow up the twin towers.)

Attached File  ID minis3.png   488.67K   4 downloads

All of the ships. A fighter jet, a bomber, and an alien fighter.

Attached File  ID minis2.jpg   94.72K   2 downloads

Close-up of the ships. They've got some surprisingly nice details. The bomber is incredibly bland.

Attached File  ID minis4.jpg   282.73K   2 downloads

This thing is a piece of shit. It doesn't click together, and it just barely fits all of the pieces. I had to Tetris the piss out of the pieces to get it to "close." (And by "close", I mean, "sit together just enough that it doesn't open.")

I don't feel too bad, considering the price. But I wouldn't recommend hunting this thing down. And it's a unique compact to add to my little collection.

Let's set up something up for you then, buddy. I'm not overly attached to it!

My local flea market has a "permanent" LEGO dealer, and I always check him out in the off-chance he has cool stuff like this. He had the red one in his cabinet once and it was love at first sight! haha! Been lazily looking for the rest of the set since. I wish I had room for the actual vehicles/sets, but I'm fine with just the figures.

I have tons of the droids, it's their alien masters that I adore. I've got the red one because that's the only large ship I had when I was younger. If there's another complete blue alien that you have access to... let me know.

That ID4 playset is kinda neat. I shouldn't be as surprised as I am, but the New York landmarks look incredibly similar to the ones that were in the Godzilla vs. Rodan in New York playset Trendmasters made, right down to the odd inclusion of the Citicorp Center building. I guess in the 90s, Citicorp was a bigger deal? Loved those playsets, but they had a similar issue of not closing very well. Only with practice did I figure out a good way to keep any of my Godzilla heads reasonably closed. Trendmasters was a good toy company, not a great one.

I think he had another blue one, save for the head. I'll double-check with him next time I'm there.

I'm pretty sure this was also a Trendmasters line, so it's probably just the exact same molds. I have no clue what Citicorp is/was, but the architecture makes for a weird building so maybe thats why they picked it? Better to have a bunch of unique structures than some generic skyscrapers.

Oh yeah, I know the Independence Day toys were done by Trendmasters. I owned one of their alien action figures, but not the deluxe electronic one, and lamented that our piece of shit computer couldn't handle the floppy disc game. By the time we had one that could run it... bleh, quickly realized I hadn't missed much.

There's probably a place somewhere with flash veriosn of those old games.  just dunno where...

(edit) it works, just go through 4shared's rigamarole, and find a program that can read the files.

(edit) maybe here?  Or the download may be evil. Try at your own risk: http://legendsworld....nture/game/3791

Found a Red Pikmin in the "wild" today! I was pleasantly surprised to do so as I currently had him written off as a "never going to get this" figure.

Picked up a few dudes at a local-ish shop today, this dude is the highlight though. From what I have found he is a Japanese capsule toy?

Pic isn't great but he's like a creature pencil topper with a storm trooper like head

Catching up... here are some Gormiti!

Firespitter from the cartoon series, except the cartoon made his design really lame by removing the abstract details and making it just look like he wore a lucha mask.

Firespitter-Toon.png

Hammerbeard.  With a name like that, he has to be a pirate.

Hammerbeard.png

MAGMION!  A 5" figure, which means it's mostly compatible with toys made thirty years ago than ones now.

Magmion-Emerge.png

He comes with the following two accessories.  A cannon, and... uh.. that looks like... hehehe.

Magmion-Accessories.png

It doesn't look less awkward when he's wearing it.

Magmion-AltHands.png

Magmion also has a companion figure - The Screaming Guardian!

Magmion-ScreamingGuardian-Dungeon.png

So, this is an awesome deal, to be honest.

That Hammerbeard is really cool. What's the going price for Gormiti? I was thinking of looking them up and getting the ones I like if the price is right.

As I have mentioned before I also collect vintage pens.  This lot of pens I only bought for the bi-color purple & white one.  Harder to find Paper Mate Contour with a sign of the zodiac on it.  I now have 4 of the 12!

And then a pile of dudes.  Gosh, I am buying too many piles of dudes lately (that sounds wrong.......)!

I find it...unsettling how much we talk about buying and selling "flesh" on this board.

Ponderosa, are those MUSCLE or Kinkeshi? Looks like a nice score either way!

Edit: I see the stuff that was never produced in MUSCLE now. Derp derp.
