That is why I buy a lot of my stuff from the board. I will do Ebay now and again. But the board is the main place to be for BB/LB merchandize.

This was a board member but a Newbie and on Ebay as well. The board is at risk too!! That is why no biz unless they pay upfront or send trades to them first, that's my moto until the newbie gets some feedback.

The guy scammed you. If you win the auction and pay, he'll scam you again and not send the item. Then he will close his paypal and sever ties with the bank account, and paypal won't be able to recover the money. You'll lose the item AND money, genius.

It certainly sounds like you have ample proof that RisingScammer81 stole that Carp. That being the case, if you haven't contacted the authorities yet, you should definitely do so.

Call the police!! Also you could call Ebay and if you talk to the right people and inform them of this maybe they can help too? But if you do call Ebay make sure your speaking with the right person, most of them are dumb.

How exactly is he going to prove he sent the stuff to the scammer? NO D.C. = No proof he ever sent this guy anything. Even if he had DC he still can't prove that is HIS carp or that it was even in the box.

That should probably be something the cops should decide. I'm sure he also has email.PM conversations, and I would bet that the original owner's prints are still on a few of those figures.

I did a buy it now on one of the ones he had for $25 with some eBay bucks I had. In a minute I should be able to provide everyone with all his contact info and email. I also contacted eBay and told them this stuff was stolen.

oops thought I posted that in the other post, they told me without a police report and a call from the officer that they cant do anything about it. I have no proof, just circumstantial evidence so they told me that the auctions will keep going. The guy on the phone was cool about the whole thing and understood where I was coming from but he said its out of his hands.

Looks like they have been taken down now as stated above.

Also he is no longer a registered user anymore.

I never had to pay him, I was gonna use my eBay bucks that way if I got burned it wasnt a huge deal. The auction looks like this...
