When these go up for sale I'll be curious to see what color assortments everyone gets. For the people they sent preview sets to from Instagram, it looks like most got the same exact color-sculpt combos I did. I wonder if every sculpt will be available in every color or just some.
yeah thats a good point. with 108 different sculpt/color combos, i wouldnt imagine they are producing 100+ of each unique minifigure

How are so many people getting "freebies"?

They reached out to several people via Instagram offering to send some, I guess people whose feeds they liked following. They didn't actually ask for a review or posts to be made, but they probably figured people who they sent some to would inevitably post about them and that it would help get the word out.

Also a legit artist painted the package design and that's a lot more expensive than tinkering with photoshop for 10 minutes like the OMFG and MOTUSCLE designers did.

It's all about your insta-followers.
My wife was offered all kinds of free stuff before her account was compromised.
If your content is likely to attract customers, they'll send out some free samples with the presumption that you'll do their advertising for free.

As someone who also "tinkers with Photoshop", I'm going to say the guys who designed the MOTUSCLE and OMFG packaging were also legit artists, and assume you're being hyperbolic about the 10 minute thing..

Seeing as how they're being mass produced I think 40 is a little steep.
That's why i'm gonna hold off for a little bit...maybe get some loose ones cheaper....They are so cool though!

I got a flesh set; would've gone for the colors if flesh was excluded from the options on those. looking forward to getting these in hand, some really creative sculpts.
and yes the package artwork is pretty sweet

$40 for a set of figures I can deal with. $24 to ship them to the UK? That's... off-putting.

I picked up a flesh set too. Interested to see how the color compares to all the other flesh figs I have

Quick question; Would they accept a prepaid Visa? Or is payment only through PayPal? It would be easier for me just to get the prepaid card to pay for a set than dealing with PayPal's shenanigans.

It's gonna cost a pretty penny to complete a full color set.

If any overseas people want to buy them and ship to me in the US so I can ship out to you cheaper we can do that. Would probably make a big difference if you wanted them shipped in a bubble mailer without the packaging.

These are pricy. Any chance I'll find them at DesignerCon? If so, I'll happily wait to save on shipping.
