[Universal Ruler Supreme]

Alright you slackers. It's been a while since I entered one of these major waste of times, so here is my entry.

Trillions exist upon the surface of the Battle Beast Planet. Yet most are never seen. Hidden away from the sight and minds of the Beast Men of the world. Only when one wishes to utilize the combined ferocity of these fellow creatures do they become a concern, much less a threat. But in the wrong hands their unbiased nature and random elemental powers can be overwhelming for any Beast of any size or strength.

Amalgamated Amoeba

Penciled in the drawing, and as usual my scanner doesn't scan pencil very well, so I just shuved it in Paint and retraced and colored it. Simple enough for some entertainment. Hopefully it will get more creative juices flowing.

Eh, I thought the dibs thing was a game. I didn't think anyone was likely to do my animal, but I just had to join in on the game because everyone else seemed to be having so much fun D: Though I do have a compulsion to be unique... which is why I picked a snouter I guess. Who else would have thought of that particular cryptid? If I hadn't said it, nobody was likely to get the idea to do it.

Really, it's not like there aren't enough crazy creatures to go around, so it's not like people will be forced to do the same animal out of a lack of options. If people wanted to legitimately call dibs on a creature I don't see why they can't. I haven't yet had someone do a similar entry to me, but I can see how annoying it would be.

I want to see a puffer fish BB. Both unpuffed and puffed with armor variations (like his armor stretches or transforms to allow puffing). Maybe fighting the angler. and I want fireworks. Not being too needy am I?

Ok, so anyone tell me why in the heck collectors are satisfied w/ minimates BB block guys and not demanding kewl BB/LB like Eric's sketch? Come on...Eric's sketch looks just like Hasbro's Hyena (SUPER SICK & detailed)!!! Bring on BB/LB like this and I am buying them like candy!!!

I rushed this to get my entry posted because I though the deadline was today... But I have a month. I guess that's cool. I wish I would have noticed that detail BEFORE my marathon 48 hour press to finish. Oh well.

OK. It is finally finished... thank god... and ready for public viewing. This actually came out WAY better than I thought, since I rushed to finish by the end of August. I finally got the time together to paint him today.

From deep in the Russian permafrost (he got lost)... I present one of the the missing Battle Beasts,

Muscovite Mammoth!





At first I wanted to do a really straight 80's style sculpt. Somewhere along the way he took on a life of his own (and became Russian. I don't have a clear reason for this). I ended up with a frankly modern style figure, so I decided to paint him in a more realistic style. Hope you guys like him!

like him? i effing love him!!! that is one of the coolest things i've ever seen! nope, words can't describe how cool that is. the hammer and sickle weapon is the best. i'm so glad you decided to paint it in this style. a sculpt this detailed demands a realistic paint app i think. it's brilliant.

That is some really impressive work misterdroid! The sculpt, and paint are both effing awesome, and I love the weathering on the armor. Great choice on the mammoth theme, and the weapon is really cool. This looks like the work of a pro.

Here's my first entry: "Bantering Banana Slug Says"

The hand and controller were photographs, with the neon outline filter, inverted, then converted to b&w. This was printed out, banana slug drawn in w/ sharpie, scanned in, cleaned up in photoshop, printed out on cardstock, then paintedw/ darklight reactive acrylic, and touched up by black sharpie.

The message of this piece is true: I lost over 90 productive hours in the last 3 months to Oblivion on 360. I need to hang this next to my tv....

oh shizznit! don't tell me that. i bought oblivion just the other week and had planned on playing it when i finished bioshock. i have a hard enough time as it is getting shizznit done when i'm not playing rpgs.

I've been there too. I was putting some sick hours into Oblivion for a while. Fortunately the Xbox and the game were my Bros. So when he took it back I cut me off cold turkey. I havn't played it since.
