Haha, BOFF is one of my all time favorites.
I am glad you guys are so amused by this. I had even more fun making this than my last contest entry, as I am a big fan of oldschool Batman.
I probably put about ten hours total into this particular piece, spaced out over about two weeks. Most of the animation I do for fun is filmed and edited between 23:00 - 0400, and this was no exception.
I find that the increasing sleepiness I feel working at those hours is key in the creative process, and adds to the overall silliness of the final product.
Watching what I have done the next morning is often like recalling snippets of bizarro dreams from the night before, haha!

That blows my mind. (For two reasons: (1) I wish I could pull together 10 extra hours; and (2) that it only took 10 hours)I probably put about ten hours total into this particular piece, spaced out over about two weeks.
While I liked KinWars, this just blows it out of the water. It seems like your Batman love is far deeper than your Star Wars love. I think the animation, uses of techniques, and set construction just keeps getting better and better. I loved the lighters!

Anybody else submitting anything? I never got to see what became of Recoom's robotic claw. I tried to make a poll for this twice and my pc kept locking up for some reason, so I figured id just ask if there were gonna be any more entries then try again to make the poll later.

Funny thing. This is a different brass fitting claw, because Heather wanted the other for herself. This one has poseable wire tendons on the back. the base is metal sculpt for automotive use, to help stabalize it. I thought it was too late to enter, otherwise I would've posted it earlier.
