Hey guys cool figure huh? props Tyler! well I am making them as fast as I can. I just put in a mexican bootleg trans yellow one this morning. (I love that color!) I'm making 2 more then auctioning those 3 at the same time ($10 opening bid) at musclethings.com .. now is a good time to join to get these figures.. everyone is welcome! then I'm making johnny one .. then I'll auction the next 3 and then they will be available at the musclethings store (again at musclethings.com) for the more casual collector that doesn't need his stuff right away..

Can't wait to see how the other colors turn out. I think this guy would look amazing in green.....

actually I'm just gonna skip the auctions and have him available at the musclethings store for 21 plus shipping. So every few I make I will have for sale at musclethings.com. and I'll update this thread everytime I add manzilla stock so you guys know when to pick him up.

Tyler, can I ask how you sculpted this guy? Like, did you literally hand-sculpt the whole thing, or did you do some slick hacking on some existing figures to blend them together?

Just curious--if it's a trade secret, feel free to tell me to shut my yap! I just wish folks who were super-handy/creative posted in-progress pics...just 'cause it's awesome! I'm just a CAD guy, so my "in-progress" pics are boring as hell. LOL

90% Kitbash + 10% sculpt with Apoxie Sculpt on this guy.

I usually only sculpt the heads, and lettering detail with Super Sculpy on my customs.

I am proficient at kitbashing, but still learning when it comes to sculpting.

Anyone can swap heads on a figure, but making it look nice is another story. I am a hobbiest, not an artist...

Damn, so you sculpted all the Goji bits on this particular guy from scratch? Or did you hack up an existing Godzilla figure and integrate it with a beheaded MUSCLE with Apoxie or Sculpy?

And I totally agree: swapping heads--and making it look this good--is no small feat! Heh...and I'm not qualified to define the word "artist", but it sure takes some imagination to come up with a clever idea like this!

Okay I made a decent amount of stock to open up the store. It opens tomorrow (Monday) night at 7pm and I will have 7 Manzillas and 5 Pterodact-Kills
