I couldn't figure it out because if it would've been water with chlorine in it it would've affected the inner parts as well since the water should easily get there as well...............
BTW don't see this topic as a trigger to start messing up your original figs with chemicals or other scientific tests since that would result in the opposite of what I wanted to achieve with this topic
Haha no worries. It was a busted figure. The horns are chipped off and there is a piece missing on his back. I took the arms off though, they were still good.

Congrats mate!!!!
You beat all of us, because we all got fooled by it.
But we cant say anything about the cause yet since the results of scientific test aren't finished yet (right Phil?).
Are you from CSI or something??

Next time I'll make a competition out of it, but I need your ID first to make sure your not specialised in it LOL

Ya,ya,that's it $3.50.
Still it's a nice story and I really like the colors on
the Bisson,sorry it wasn't a true variant.
.
not that it is discounted. We as consumers are conditioned to think"On Sale"means it's cheaper.

Yours looks good enough to pass for a real variant. I wonder what really happened to it. The blue looks real sharp on yours and not washed up like the test subject.

This looks more like a lightning issue from the picture itself although the Danger Dog is known in two skin colors (no true variant to me) of which one (this one) is the more lighter skin color while the other one has the more dark skin color. Most have been related to a different factory (country) where these where produced but both can be considered as general common figures.

Or are you going to keep it as a "lesson learned" and cool conversation piece?

Are you planning on selling the figure?
Or are you going to keep it as a "lesson learned" and cool conversation piece?
Well TOPHER recalled his $350 offer which was actually close to the price I was looking for......

I've payed 25 euro for it and waited months for this figure to arrive, which in the end turned out to be not worth 'anything' but to some pieces/figures within your collection you just get attached due to the history or story behind them. And you can say in this case its indeed a figure that learned me a lesson, but I'm glad it was not just me learning a wise lesson but a lot more boardmembers. So due to that he has owned his place within my collection and he's standing proudly inbetween the true variants.
If I had to sell it I would need 25 euro to play even on him which is a price none is willing to pay for him and even if there's someone willing to pay it I still would hang on to it because the experience and story behind it is much more valuable to me.
So its not for sale, sorry.
But there are enough tips and tricks out here to make your own
