If you only want the painted figures just avoid getting any blind boxes or the super winning 3 pack with the shark,orca, and crocodile. The multi packs are all worth getting as the only figure that is not unique in any of them is the lion, who also comes in a single pack

I love both versions of the toys. I think its worth getting all the characters painted and in transparent.
