Well, so much for anyone having a fair shot at the purple claw........I checked to see how much this auction was at but it was pulled by the seller. I emailed him for an explanation and he told me that "someone" was going to pay him $30 for the purple claw and sunshine.(#3) I wonder if these two will be relisted by someone else on ebay with hopes that they(and probably other figs) sell for a much higher price. I have a feeling though a regular from these boards paid him the $30 for em.

I`m not going to be surprised if whoever bought them keeps their mouth shut about it too. So what does everyone else think?

I emailed the guy as well, but haven't heard anything yet. I figured someone emailed about the two figures. Hopefully, Doc or Beligerant got them. Otherwise, some punk may try to sell just those figures on eBay just like you said.

It wasn't me, so I am kind of upset about this whole deal. I hope it was beligerant though, if not shame on whoever did it for being sneaky. On top of all that to offer cash for the only two figures I wanted seems a little shady too. Oh well, next time I guess I will just bid and keep my mouth shut.

I don't even have $30, and didn't really care about the claw anyway.....

I hope it was Beligerant........it sucks that somebody would be as underhanded as this......I was hoping to get that Purple Sunshine for Doc.....

wasn't me either...just got the cancellation notice in my email inbox..i wasn't really that interested in those two anyway. Seems kinda unfair that he could just pull that auction like that though, doesn't it? Then again, I'm not really all that familar with selling things on ebay, so maybe it's more common then I realize.

I'm just afraid that since it wasn't Doc, and if it turns out it wasn't Beligerant, then everybody is gonna assume it was me.....

I assure you, if a thousand purple claws were to surface, that I would NOT want a single one of them.....

I assure everybody, had I won this auction, I would've ridded myself of every colored one I could, since I'm working on a FLESH set currently......

Doc, I really hope you don't think it was me......and I hope it turns out it was Beligerant.......but even if it was, I'm still upset that this arse ended the auction early......everybody had a chance to bid on it nice and legal.....and he wants to breach the contract by ending it early.......

I know how much you needed the figures, the Purple Sunshine, and the Purple Claw, and I'd never take 'em from you, if it were within my power to make sure you got them.......

lets hope it went to an AKIA member.......and not some scalper scum......

I actually believe everyone here who said that it was not them. I think we are going to see these two figs pop up on ebay. If that`s the case, I`m not bidding on the damn figs either!! Remember the last time the purple claw resurfaced on ebay? For the most part we all stuck together and that scumbag seller did not nearly get the amount he would have if he did not get someone to keep bidding it up for him. That loser would have gotten over $100 for that claw, but instead he got $40. I say if it does come up on ebay again we do the same thing and resist the urge to bid!! I know that it will be hard to resist(on my part as well) but someone is looking to take advantage of the situation.

Maybe I`m on a xtra large capuchino rush right now and jumping to conclusions, hopefully someone from these boards did end up with him.

hey guys, sorry i missed this whole thing, i just saw an email from doc today and went and saw that the auction was ended by the seller, at first i thought it had ended with noone even bidding on it (ha, fat chance). It sucks for all of us and the seller that he ended the auction early, he could have gotten way more than that. Ive been pretty busy with school and going out that i havnt even checked ebay in a few months at least cause i pretty much gave up on getting all the 153s after that one went for over $100. hopefully a lot more of them will pop up and maybe someday we'll see a magenta hand, and it will be a buy it now auction, that would be cool.

I am not blaming anyone. I also have not PM'd anybody about this auction just in case people are pointing fingers. I am also not one to hold a grudge over a small plastic toy. I always say all is fair in the game of Ebay, but I think the way this auction ended was a little sour. I emailed the seller to inform him that I hope he enjoys the $30 because my max bid was going to be $150. Enjoy whoever got the figs, as said before, I am sure we will see more of these guys soon enough. I have not been too active on ebay or the boards lately because I have been busy with other stuff.

It more than likely went to someone who was not a member of this board. I didn't realize he pulled the lot off the auction. I stopped checking on it once Doc said he really wanted, plus, I don't want colored figures so I wasn't going to shell out the big money to win it. And Taichi would have only done it if the lot included ever colored Krangala ever made.

Actually, I bid on the lot.....I was high bidder when it ended......

there were some pinkies in there that I really needed, and I was gonna trade off the coloreds so I could get MORE pinkies......

I didn't even know the claw was in there!

oh well......lets hope the next one goes to Beligerant........
