That does look awesome, and I will second that they look even better in person!

A slightly off-topic question, does anyone know the story behind the Lion’s terrible hair? That’s the picture I’d like to see. I imagine its feeling is a mix of Saturday Night Fever and Arthur Fonzerelli.

Thanks for the Lion v. Gator compliments, guys, much appreciated. :lol:

Here's one i did just for fun today when i should have been spending time working on the art contest. That'll teach me to keep Battle Beasts on the desk, i guess.
As always, this one's up for trade or sale, PM me if interested. I even left the rubsign blank and will customize that part to your liking. ^_^

So yeah. I've been doing a lot of drawing lately.

If you've always wanted some Battle Beast art but just couldn't pick a favorite, how about this Toad? Or even his Snake friend two posts up. Or get both, and be the envy of your neighborhood. :thumbsup:

I had to hold off on posting this until after Jeff's B-Day :wallbash:

I had this #154 piece commissioned as a gift for him. The scan is a bit dark but the artwork is amazing in person!

In finishing up my claws entry, I had extra guache in the pallette that was going to waste, and I wanted to see how well my printer could handle watercolor paper. I also wanted to warm up on my usage of india ink and metal calligraphy plumes. Let me know if you want the original. Works reeealy well in darklight..

Wow, just got my art today and these look even better in real life. AMAZING work bro! I'll definitely be sending more requests your way in the near future and I recommend anyone else that doesn't have their hands on one of these masterpieces yet jump right on it before I monopolize all of Ryan's time :thumbsup: Thanks again mate!

Thanks. :p I haven't gotten on the coloring yet...i was real busy for a while, but now i've just gotta get the wife to print it out for me at work and i'll see what i can do with it. I actually have multiple ideas, might have to do a couple versions. :(

Messing around with a slightly different style. Just barely blocked this one out in pencil, no details or anything, then went straight into markers to try to keep everything clean and simple. I think it came out kinda cool.

I recently received two Battle Beast pieces -- the Toad and the Koala -- and all I can say is :D they are absolutely amazing! Incredibly well drawn, vibrant, and fun!
