Judging from the other characters in the background art shot, it seems there will be (my guesses at least):

 

dwarf (next to the Lion Man)

minotaur (horned thing next to the vampire)

vampire (black-armor suit next to vampire)

Jack the Ripper-type (to the right of vampire)

frost giant (next to centaur)

some sort of monster hunter (Van Helsing?)

 

And my guess is the kids in front will be "leaders" of the monsters, pitting them against each other.

I read the jack-the-ripper as a possible spring healed jack and the frost giant is most certainly Ymir. I wouldnt be surprised to see some new monsters though. Especially considering the Dwarf.

Wow, this is some pretty huge news for the MIMP franchise. Cant believe I've been oblivious to this until now..
They look ok. That Cyclops is the standout, and the medusa aint bad either.
Sad to hear theyre only making 30 of the 80 or so decent figures they could rehash, so far at least. I hope that doesnt suffer the same fate as the 2006 reboot had and end up being given sloppy paint apps, and have no mono figures whatsoever. Yeesh.

Weird that theres no 25 pt. monsters in that lot, but theres a centaur from series 3..

here is an other pic from the seller. the jpg is named "team chaos", and you can notice the human with the book is not the same... Differents teams with a boy with a book as a chief ?

So from that picture it looks like the "Chaos" team will be:

 

Red Cap

Jimmy Squarefoot (purely a guess as it reminds me of the 2006 version, but either way he's not a minotaur like I originally thought)

Cyclops

Dark Elf? (no clue who he is... I originally thought vampire, but he looks more like a dark elf)

Vampire (I feel like the top hat character is probably the vampire now, or possibly a Warlock)

Manticore/Sphinx (I thought it was a harpy, but tweaking the brightness/contrast shows its a much more animalistic creature)

 

I'm surprised Medusa's not part of that group.

Well that press sheet from last year did mention a they work with a game its probably going to be some throw away junk ios/android game so there like sickbricks. Not sure about the look there going for here or the fact there throwing humans into the line that sure did not help other lines like Gormiti much.

im guessing this is going to be a battling game, like pokemon, summoning the monster to fight? Not sure how i feel about that. It looks like all will be holding weapons, and or will have armor on?

 

The style and paint apps ruin it for me.

The seller sent me this pic and a few others. He did mention copyright and some concern over keeping his job; which is what has kept me from posting them. for now at least.I would hate to get him into a bind for spreading pics.

Wow great news for the brand, just not sure I agree with the execution. I like the style, but think I would like it better if it didn't have the MIMP name.  Kinda feels like it's trying to re-imagine the brand into something it wasn't, which I'm getting a very pokemon, yugioh vibe from.  Doubt we'll see any mono colored figures.

I personally really like all the figures we have seen except for the Centaur and to some degree the Beast. Red Cap, Cyclops and Medusa look pretty good to me. Centaur really fails for me because it looks like something from My Little Pony; and a Brony I am not.

The style is very anime like, sharp angles. The medusa and ogre look cool

I don't like the anime style much, or the paint, a bit disappointing. Still, Cyclops and Medusa look pretty cool so there's definitely hope. I imagine that like the 2006 revamp I'll probably end up just getting 5 or 6 that I like.

 

Also pretty sure that's Werewolf on the 'Chaos' team between Red Cap and Cyclops, so if I only get one it'll be that one. Fingers crossed for a good design!

Its actually a beast-like character called Vorn according to information that I have gotten from the seller.

Voodoo, interesting. So I guess they're making up their own creatures too?

 

I have to say, while I'm not big on the overall style of these, I do like that Red Cap sculpt a lot.

Also, I won the Cyclops today. Very excited about that. 

 

From what I am seeing it would appear as though they are attaching non generic names to these monsters. From what I have discussed with the seller, there is a character named Vorn which is most certainly a werewolf from the pics. 

 

The Redcap painted and unpainted look amazing imo.
