Thank you, Blackbeard, but arguing with K_M isn't really worth it. His opinion is respected, but he didn't understand what my post was about and decided that I was bashing his favorite series and work. My response to him is this:

HAHAHA NO.

I love Kinnikuman. I love the B-grade childish fun the G1 manga is full of. I love the B-grade animation and humor the G2 anime gave to Nisei, which the manga was utterly devoid of.

People, seriously, can't you just accept the fact I just talk out of my ass 99.8% of the time? :/

ON-TOPIC: No offical link for this event has appeared on the the Yude's Kinnikuman site. God, that site still has the same image from FOUR year ago. LAZY. >=(

Whoa. Guys, chill out.

K_M...we love Kinnikuman, though even if we love it there are just times that just warrants us poking fun at it (Like this publicity stunt.) It'd really suck if you decided to limit the people who read your translations just because Matto is a bit of a joker.

And on that note, you seemed to have taken Matto's comments as a personal insult towards you and your translations, which is definitely not the case. We love the G1 manga, and would love to see it finished. It's the G2 manga that is being made fun of, because it has stopped making fun of itself.

And to get back on topic, I don't think they're ever going to update that site ever again.

Whoa. Guys, chill out.

Nah, we don't need to chill out. K_M just needs some snuggles and a hug. And a cute kitten too.

ON-TOPICNESS: ...Yude forgot they had a website? =( Did they even do their own website??? You would think that, being that this is an event that one half of Yude is part of, a link would be, you know, made?

Don't misunderstand my opinion of Yude's ticket fiasco, to be my opinion of the entire series. I love the manga. Even the pinheaded crap. ESPECIALLY the pinheaded crap.

But I'm not into pervy magazines, and I just don't understand why you'd look past your core audience the way that they did. It seems counter-intuitive.

And "Dumb".

I wouldn't consider that "trolling"...
But if one can't understand why this would be frustrated, I'm afraid I just don't have the words to explain it to you.

For all of you who are sick of Matt Teo:

Click on Matto's user name. Underneith the generic picture (or, if he uploads a personal picture, under that) there's a dropdown box that says 'options.'

Click it, and the first option is "Ignore User."

Then Matty is gone from your forum viewing experience. Enjoy.

I'll enjoy those who react to people's reactions ot Matty and get confused. Hopefully.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Been a while since I've posted, but I'm back. Go me. :p

Anyway, this piece of news was a complete surprise to me when I first heard of it (Just now, FYI). I really liked the Kevin Mask cosplay deal in Pro Wrestling NOAH myself, that much was certain from the moment I saw it.

On a related note, perhaps they could cast real Japanese pro wrestlers to wear the costumes - that way, the tournament would be more legit in a number of ways. :) I'm not holding my breath though.

I don't mind him. If I disagree, I'm still entertained.

Ditto, but I'd rather explain something like that than see someone dissappear like Asator did.

Didn't notice if anyone added a link to watch it yet so here's one.
I've trained with the guy who plays Buffaloman!
His real name's Daisuke Sekimoto.

And here's a guy dressed as Kinnikumantarou getting punched about by Bob Sapp.

Aside from M.U.S.C.L.E. and Kinnikuman I also primarily collection 1/6 figures as well as some busts and prop replicas.

I'm also a musician; playing the drums and banjo, enjoy movies and reading.

That first video is awesome! Great costumes... and fairly choreography considering some of those masks/costumes would lead to zero visibility :D

The first video is officially favorited for me on my Facebook account. I won't lie. I laughed hard. The absolute hokiness of the "matches" just made it all the more better.

And I absolutely lost it when Sunshine showed up. :D He sounds like a walking garbage can. :(

I uploaded this, Kaba Kaba. I'd like to thank you for the original video in person.

The parody of Atlantis raising Robin Mask's helmet from the water really brought a tear to my eye.

As for the things I didn't like, that would be Ashuraman, and the utter confusion of Big Bombers winning the Tag Tournament. You can even see the reaction of the crowd at certain points throughout this, and this is very much what my reaction was as a viewer of these videos. Certain moments weren't particularly easy to grin and bear.

Kudos to the amazing super otaku who yells: "ROBIIIN!" at the end of this particular clip, too. Perfect timing.

Hey, you're welcome! :( Since I was digging around for more Kinnikumania stuff to put up on this thread, I happened to come across the Ashuraman segment you put up and I realized that I had to put up a link. It was too awesome for words.

I actually kinda hope that someone would be able to provide a translation into what "Ashuraman" was saying throughout the whole segment. I only seemed to catch a rough idea of it. Ashuraman appears to be gloating over the fact that he holds the power of the Choujin friendship in his destiny box and is planning on seizing the opportunity to take out the Justice Choujin while they least expect it.

In the bathhouse, Ashuraman appears to be saying that Robin Mask's time is at hand and orders Atlantis to attack. As for that otaku at the end, you would need to pay very close attention in order to hear him.
