I won the lot I have been after a display case for a while and I didn't have any mixed cans in my collection. Still haven't received it yet though. Hopefully it will turn up this week some time.

Congratulations! I just thought it was weird that the seller was still selling 10-packs on Amazon when these were believed to be his final 4 cans. Glad to hear they went to someone on the board!

Thanks NeonGreen! I just hope they will have a safe trip across the Atlantic as I live in England. The last time I brought a sealed 10 can from the States customs opened it up

That's the most annoying thing I've heard in a while! The cans are transparent, for crying out loud; you can see the toys in them quite easily. I hope this latest batch went out with a note that says, "Vintage collectible toys; to remain sealed" or something like it.

that sucks!!!!! How did you know it was customs? did they leave a notification or something? Just asking because once I bought a "sealed" can only to have it arrived unsealed and it was withing the US so no customs involved, just a bad seller

yeah ive heard of this happening a lot in certain countries. when my ex was living in germany for a few months every box i mailed her was opened before hand by customs.

Congrats on the display!! I think it became a bit too high though as he was selling the 4 packs for 40 bucks shipped in the states before he listed this auctionand he just got tired of people calling him so he sold them all on ebay. I say later on though he had some on Amazon for like 119.00...LMAO!!
He really thinks he will get that much? WOW

I think there was a note in the package saying they had been through it - it was quite a while back though. At least they didn't hit me with custom's charges as well that would have added insult to injury!
If they put their dirty hands in it this time I will declare war on them! Well at least complain like hell.

Thanks Clawfreak! Yeah it's sounds as if the seller is getting greedy. It was the display box that I liked the most. In time I would like to fill it up with sealed cans (but I still need a lot to make the 24) just like they were back in the good old days when m.u.s.c.l.e.'s filled the toy shops

This item never turned up in the end absolutely gutted.

Maybe the seller wasn't happy with the price after all.

If anyone knows of another display box in good condition out there thats for sale please let me know - thanks.
