I figured so honestly. Plus the snappyness I bet was due to the lack of smokes. I know how hard it is to break a bad habbit. It really didnt bother me much, Just dont leave them out for long because I am letting you know, the bags were getting discolored for only afew days. So try to clean out all the air by opening the windows before exposing them to the room. Also for me I can smell smoke from amile away. I mean my roomate came from being outside smoking one cigarette and I could smell it from across the room when he came in. Im not against it but im not for it either. I was hoping to smell other types of smoke on it to be honest But i couldnt make em out.

Yea Im one of the weirdo who smells all their toys. It brings a weird joy to me. They remind me of a good place. I like the smell of florida toys... it reminds me of my grandparents place. Mmmm i could go for some good food now (they always know how to spoil me).

Oh BTW dont go cold turkey, that will get you more addicted later, get off them slowly. I would also try not to smoke in your room. It will make it seem more of a chore to step outside and you can display your collection too!

Damn chibi...go in your room and punch a pillow when you feel a temper tantrum coming. I read your post and the comparison to bone cold and smoking was funny, but do you need that much attention for everyone to say...it was a classic line and you are a genius?

Good luck man! I myself have been smoking for 7 years now. I'm sorry but I have to admit I like it. It makes me feel calm and relaxed. Plus it's fun as hell making O's. And like Veers said, Smoking looks cool.What badass dosen't smoke.lol. Actually he made really good points about smoking in general. I pretty much agree with all of what he said. I smoke about a half a pack a day. Which isn't as bad as 2 packs like i used to smoke. Lately though, I have been getting sore throats and coughing a lot. Another thing that sucks is that it takes $$$ away from my new obsession with Muscle/kinnikuman toys. Those biotches(cigs) really add up. I probably spend like $25 bucks or so a week on em. Try the quest Cigs though MIWP,they taste like sh*t, but they work really well. I almost quit smoking ....If I didn't go out and buy other cigarettes right after I ran out of those.

Oh and btw, max is right don't try quitting cold turkey, I quit for 5 months and I'm even more addicted now.

3. Thin chicks smoke. It’s nice to be able to offer them one, or light one.
-SOME thin shicks smoke. And they're thin because they smoke and have a lesser appetite. They are unhealthy, SMELL BAD, have worse skin, and crappier teeth than women who don't smoke. Plus they have a higher likelihood of being bee-eye-itchy, because of the effects of cigarettes.

4. It gives you something to do when you’re bored.
-If you can't find anything else to do when you're bored, I pity you.

About quitting cold turkey, I disagree. Everyone I know, including myself, quit cold turkey and none of us have ever started smoking again. It is all up to the individual and what works best for them.

As far as smoking and smokers are concerned, I notice that people love to bash smoking as stupid and smokers as dumb. I disagree. I have no problems with smoking. I loved it. Smoking does look cool. Plus, it is relaxing and enjoyable. Is it unhealthy? Yup. But so is drinking alcohol and smoking pot. You don't see people ragging on alcohol and pot and the people that use them nearly as much as you do with ciggs and smokers. As far as I'm concerned I could care less if everyone smoked. To each his own. It doesn't matter to me.

you guys ever do this? - I havent smoked in four or five years and when i did smoke, i hardly smoked at all, maybe a pack or two a week, but i find myself holding my breath or breathing in inadvertently when i watch a movie or tv show where someone is smoking cigs or weed or whatever. Just curious

and i agree that smoking does look cool and it makes you feel good, but i definately stopped smoking because of how it makes you smell, what it does to your teeth, and how it makes your mouth taste (that has mostly to do with kissing, which is why i steer clear of girls who smoke, but of course i would make excetptions), not to mention the health effects

I am the same way! After I quit smoking I would avoid dating chicks that smoked. Kissing them was like licking an ashtray. Plus, you are right about the smell. It is all over their clothing and even their hair. Obviously, I would make an exception if she was hot.

I have never smoked a cigarette in my life. Probably a few through second hand though.

Whenever I have to walk through a crowd of smokers, or past a smoker who is smoking, I hold my breathe until I get past them far enougth for the smoke to not enter my lungs when I breathe. Is that kinda what you are talking about Beligerant1?

Well I didnt sleep good at ll last night and actually started my day at 2 am.
I bought a pack of Quest ciggs and am working on the need to light up.
I have cut back from 2 pack to 1 pack of quest. I dont think Im doing well because I originally thought I would quit cold turkey, that is untill I started craving cigg butts. Now my goal is to go from one pack to 0.

Then it seems like smackman is kidding too, but just with poor topic spacing. I believe he was laughing at my list, but then agreeing with my beliefs about how to quit smoking.

Plus WHY would you respond to that list I made?! It was so intentionally stupid, it was intentionally “over-the-top”. I took clichés and made a list with them. I’m STUNNED that you would actually respond to it.

I’m stunned by the lack of a sense of humor. After all those “You can do it posts” there needed to be a break.

Well, I was kidding about them. I just wanted to share my opinions on smoking. I also wanted to tell you your post made me laugh. Im sorry if I made you angry. Let me explain my post further.

1. I think smoking does look cool. I know it's bad for me, but I do it because I want to. It's like a rush for me smoking a cigarette. I know I could get more of a rush from doing something else, but it makes me happy.

2.About drinking while smoking: I don't really drink that often, and when I do I don't smoke as much for some reason. So I don't exactly agree with that.

3. Thin chicks smoke: This is somewhat true. A lot of girls i know smoke. This dosen't affect me at all since I have a girlfriend. She hates that I smoke, but accepts me because she loves me. And other girls don't really seem attractive to me. Especially girls that smoke. I know it sounds hypocritical to say that, but It's just how I feel.

4.It gives you something to do when you're bored: I kind of agree with this. I do sometimes smoke when I'm bored. It helps to pass the time. I can find plenty of other things to do with my time though. I am usually a pretty busy person.

I was kind of reluctant to post anything about me smoking here, because I have gotten so much negative attitude from people before because I smoke. I don't think anyone should smoke. Its a filthy habit that has more downsides than positives. I like it for my own reasons and anyone who dosen't like it has their reasons too. I just wanted to give MIWP some suggestions on quitting that I myself and other people that I know have tried. I will quit someday, I'm just not ready to.

Also, About what Amoiman said about pitying me. Don't pity me. I'm happy with my life. That made me kind of upset dude. I think your a cool guy and it kind of threw me off a little.

Anyways good luck MIWP quitting smoking is the hardest thing anyone can do. Have a dollar.

Thin chicks wont look like chick anymore after they smoke....
and there are tons of things you can do when you are bored.
There are lots of cool bad@$$ guys from RPG and they DONT smoke....
