I just wanted to say that I am sorry to hear about your friend. I think it is great what you plan on doing for him and the sacrifices you are making. That is truly what friends are for. I will try to round up some extra dough for the M.U.S.C.L.E. Hauler, but after my recent expensive purchases (Kinnikuman 205 and others) it may be hard. I will see if I can though. I think I have to beat Johnny's $700 at this point. That will be a tough one.

I wish I could help ya out man, however, with Disney WOrld (family vacation w/my 3 & 5 year old boys) and the Chicago Comic Con...no can do.

Looks like with JK's bid you have gained $200, so if you can get anything more, hell that should help out your bud!!! I am sure he will shizznit his pants to hear that his little hw hauler is raking in $700-??? I bet that will blow his mind!

Veers, before you sell it off, remember to take pictures with it . Something so rare, I doubt you'd see it again after selling it. Make sure you document your experience .

Just curious, what condition is the thing in. It looks MINT. A mint Hauler would definitely go for more than a slightly used one. Got any info for us Veers?

It's pretty mint. It shows the most age on the underside (does that make sense?). I wanted to take some more pictures last night, but I was "over served" at a surprise birthday party.

The logos look great. And it's very white, but not as white as the picture makes it look. The flash makes it a little too bright. It's a little-little bit "creamy" in person.

Cool. Then with it being in such good shape I will offer you $800 for the M.U.S.C.L.E. Hauler.

Your concern for your friend is noble. Its also very nice of you to offer it to the m.u.s.c.l.e. community first. Johnny's and Alex's offers are both very generous. But you might want to offer it to the hotwheels/matchbox community as well (on Ebay or otherwise). The dicast car collecting community is vastly larger that the m.u.s.c.l.e community and you might find a serious buyer willing to pay top dollar. There is of course the chance that you wont. Its tough to know what to do with extremely rare collectibles like the Hauler. I regret you having to make that decision under these circumstances. Truthfully, veers, after giving this whole thing some more thought, I realized I was giving you the benefit of the doubt. I guess I was really surprised that you would do something like that to your friend. (I'm only making this personal because you did first.)



Anyhow, don't get all touchy just because you now feel quilty about what you did and want to sell it.

not at all man. If you hadnt identified it, the whole case of cars would have likely sold for about $20. You gave them $500 when you could have only offered $50. I think you were being pretty honest and fair.

As for where it came from, the possibilitys are limitless. The previous owner obviosly didnt know its value. It would be interesting to know where they got it from but I doubt they will be able to tell you the its complete history. - Jay

If he hadn't identified the hauler, his friend wouldn't have gotten anywhere near $500 for it. I think he did him a big favor. He could have just snagged it and no one would have been the wiser. I am sure if veers could have afforded to give his friend more for it he would have. And ultimately that is what he is trying to do now. As for him selling it because he "feels guilty" that's straight up slander.
If there was something seedy about how he obtained it, he could have just lied and told the forum he found it at a garage sale or something. You should be careful how you judge people, its often a reflection of yourself.

Actually, Alex was in on it since this afternoon. When he posted that he might have to outbid me, we let him in on it, just in case he decided to sell some of his "keeper" items to make funds for the hauler. It would have sucked if he sold some stuff that he didn't really want to, to buy the truck and then found out it was just a prank.

Either way, Veers and Tortle have come up with a sweet way to get your own "custom" M.U.S.C.L.E. hauler.

You guys could probably trade Veers a stormtrooper or two for a set fo his stickers to put on your own hauler.

And, because of comments like that, I feel the need to share that my last post was actually fake. (After my "this is fishie" post, I was asked to shut my yapper, so I tried to patch things up a bit.)

If there is one thing I try to avoid here at AKIA it is getting personal. I prefer discussing ideas and toys.

I just hope that arforbes' recent, possible discovery isn't a fake too.

Any chance of making some water slide decals for the store?

They'd look better up close than stickers. Some HW collectors might be interested too. Water slide HW decals sell for about $4 at The Redline Shop

Yeah, thanks to Johnny...I was in on it too.

But I really am out of cash to buy one of these, whether it turned out to be real or not. I just wanted to mainly find out the value of one of these things.

However, Johnny, Veers, and Tortle are a bunch of bastitchs!

Just kidding guys, that was fun.

(I wonder what they are all gonna do when they find out that every Super Rare discovered and owned by me is actually a perfect GODBEAST custom of a Kinnikuman figure...in other words A FAKE!)

Haha! No I was just kidding about my last post. Every Super Rare figure discovered and all that I own are 100% legit...and I think I may have stumbled across yet another M.U.S.C.L.E. version of a Kinnikuman sculpt. Johnny has a point though, it may be a kinnikuman, however, the color looks awfully M.U.S.C.L.E. fleshy to me.

When I receive the lot I will be sure to let everyone know what I find.
