I know it wasn't in a garbage can. I never bought one of those sets. I remember getting my figures from 4 packs and 28 packs. I am going out on a limb saying that I got him in a 28 pack because I don't think he was visible when I got him. Meaning he was hidden by that big star burst. But again, I'm going out on a limb.

I just read Nathan's 28 set page again and it looks like it couldn't have come from a 28 pack if they had certain figures in the set. So I guess it was a 4 pack. Again... I guess.

But what if it WAS in a 28-Pack. What if one of the figures in the 28-Packs was substituted with a Super Rare for some reason? It is possible. It is also possible that it came in the 4-Pack like SC.

And he even remembers the head still being attached to the hand. I think that is sweet. Too bad it was not left attached. That SHA would be worth a fortune if it still had the head attached to the hand.

I don't think it would have fit in any of the existing compartments of the 28 packs, especially with the head attached to the hand and I doubt they would have made a special inner packaging just to add a different figure. I think the 4 pack is more likely especially considering that's where SC's have been found.

I've got an open mind despite being a little skeptical. I don't think Optimus is making it up since there's nothing to gain from it however I gotta agree with Veers, memory does play tricks especially older ones and we're talking almost twenty years here and being a kid at the time. On the other hand there can be strong memories from childhood especially with a trigger not unlike the head attached to the hand that Optimus recalls.

It'd be cool if the memory is accurate!

all 4 of the 28pack pink sets and no SHA in any of them.So I agree with Gilgar that SHA or SC would be too big to fit in the blue compartments of the 28packs.Possibly

I'll try to scan SHA tomorrow at work. I don't think my camera is going to take a better picture than that... especially since SHA is so small and I'm not a professional photographer. The scan might work and be pretty clear. I'll even rotate the head for you and do 3 scans if they come out right. I'll set up all of my figs tomorrow night and take a pic.

That is definitely a SHA! That's cool that you have one in your collection. You have had him from the beginning, which is even cooler! What condition is he in? Mint, Near Mint, Played With, Worn, etc...

I brushed him up last night with an electric toothbrush. He cleaned up nicely. There is a small dark discolored spot on his right foot. This has always been there as long as I can remember though. Other than that, it's in excellent condition. I'll try to get a good scan of him today so you can see him in his glory.

Sweet! That SHA looks to be in excellent condition. You can hardly even see the ink stain on the bottom of his foot. If you had not said anything about it, I probably wouldn't even have noticed.

Please don't keep it and do nothing. That's the worst kind of person to have a "rare" toy. That's the kind of person that says, "If it's worth this much now, just think about what it will be worth in 10 years."

It's not like pranks -- elaborate pranks -- are unprecedented here at AKIA. So, please understand why some might hesitate to accept your figure.

In any case, that tri-head scan is sweet! The figure looks mint!

SHA is undoubtedly the sweetest MUSCLE figure... so far.

Geesh... what more does it take? I took pictures. I scanned the thing. I have it in my pocket now. I'm going to take a pic with all the MUSCLE guys tonight... I don't know how this can be an elaborate hoax. Why would I bother doing it if it was? That seems like an awful waste of time for a 30 year old father. I have better things to do than hoax people.

Veers, I am probably going to be putting it on eBay. Unless some one wants it here and willing to give me a good price for it.

Just curious, and not that I want another since I have one and another without a head, but what would be a good price?

I don't know... what's fair for a complete one? I saw the one in the mag that was $422? Was that too much or was that good?
