As with Ironmask, I've got some of the Mystery singles as well. A good bunch are unopened, plus a display box. I'll know if there might be any more 12 packs or 3 packs as an option sometime next week.

That's too bad. At least a response like "we'll have details on wave 2 soon" or something would have been nice.

yeah i gave them almost a week, or it feels like a week, but at least something as a reply would have been good. i get the feeling jakks doesn't care about their customers from ignoring even simple questions like mine

Date for wave 2 on Entertainment Earth is still May, but they will just wait until June to change it if it takes that long.

Hey all, new to the boards. Sounds like everyone else is having just as hard a time finding these as I am.

So far all we've been able to find are the blind box series 1 figures at Walgreens. We managed to get the entire group of available figures, but we see that the entirety of series 1 is not available via the mystery packs.

I have emailed Jakk's as well, since their site claims that these should be available at TRU, Target and KMart.

Love the line - want more!

Took about 2 weeks for me to get an answer but the guy was nice and gave me detailed answers about the survivor figures and stuff. I shared the info i could but i didn't copy/paste the e-mail cause for whatever reason it had a non-disclosure warning on the bottom >_>

I had the same thing happened. They ignored my first 2 emails and then finally responded to the 3rd and said they never received the other 2 although they were attached to the email chain

So I can safely say they don't care about customer service one bit.

Failure to respond to the liking of two members of a toy forum does not necessarily mean Jakks doesn't care about customer service. But it may.

But what is the deal with this toy line? Is it a huge success? Or is Jakks just a mess? Do we have any numbers yet? Press releases from toy sites? Jakks themselves? Do they have a Twitter account? Does anybody know who the sculptors were for the line?

Bah! Why is info on mini-figure toy lines so hard to come by?

Edit: They do indeed have a Twitter feed which they are using to communicate with peeps about SLUG Zombies. (Companies/people tend to use Twitter today much more so than email to communicate.)

For all those who can't get these locally, I'd be happy to pick up whatever you need & send them for cost + actual shipping. Keep in mind Texas sales tax is 8.25%; other members might have lower taxes in their states. The last time I checked out TRU they had all 4 3-packs and a number of 12-packs; I should be able to score a few complete sets for those who need them!

That would be great if you could pick me up a 12 pack and a set of 4 packs. I am a truck driver
That goes all over the northeast, I have checked a couple dozen tru stores and none of them have
These toys up here!

I also deliver to kmarts reguarly (2 3 times a week) in ny nj ct pa vt nh and me, and I always check for th slugs there, so if I see any start to show up I'll let you guys know.

Jakk's wrote me back. Two day turnaround is pretty stellar, in my opinion.

The message was basically, "Hang tight, keep checking, more are coming, they've been a huge hit."

My query:

Hi Jakk’s Folks,

My 4 year old daughter and I LOVE S.L.U.G. Zombies. Our favorite so far is Neil Armgone.

Problem is… we can’t find the rest of Series 1. All we have been able to track down in the Seattle area, so far, are the Single Blind Packs, and only at Walgreens. And as you know, the blind boxes don’t allow one to get the entire run of Series 1.

Do you know where we can find some more Zombies, please, either online or at local retail? I see you have Kmart, Toys R Us and Target listed on the site, but those stores don’t carry the little guys near us. Is there a plan with your retail partners to roll these out over the next few months?

We need more, please!

And their response:

Thank you for contacting Consumer Relations,

Unfortunately, you are running into the issue that most consumers are running into. The product has been such a big hit that majority of the stores are completely sold out. Our major retailers are Toys R Us and Entertainment Earth. However, Target and Kmart also carry the line. My recommendation would be to check and see when the stores will be receiving their next shipment in. Unfortunately, we are a wholesaler so we only sell to stores not consumers. If you have any further questions feel free to contact me.

So my question is: does anyone know the DCPI number for Target so we can check online where these are in stock? I'm wondering if I'm not checking the right section of the store?

Weird, that email makes it sounds like they are already in Target and Kmart, yet I haven't seen a single report of anyone finding any at either store.

They've been a huge hit, in the five cities that they sell the 3 and 12 packs in.

huge hit in johnson city, TN

i've bought basically every one they had there. can we maybe get a good tally of the actual city/state the very very few people on here have bought them in. not really counting the single packs, as they only have 8 figures in them, and i don't really count that lol

We could also enter the info into a map so we can see at a glacé where they've been found. There's map websites that let you do that. Maybe even google maps.

I asked Jakks if they could find out the DPCIs from Target; they're going to ask their Target rep and get back to me.

Then we can where they are Target via their product finder app.

fyi - if you do the interactive map, nothing but blind single packs in central/western north carolina.

I asked JAKKS both when we might expect to see the next wave as well as whether there would still be an opportunity to buy wave 1 in stores, and here is the response I just got:

"Wave 1 has not been fully released yet, look for the rest of the line in stores by August!"

I cut out the head entirely and put in a random bit out of my junk box. I also cut into the hose opening to make them deeper.
