Yes, that's what gashapon/gachapon is. Based on all the gashapon I've had before, these guys have to be much smaller than the others.

So, is it a coincidence that these gashapon sets at that provided link sold out literally within 24 hours of that post? I loaded the page last night with the intent to buy a set today and by this morning they were gone.

Did anyone here buy any, and if so did you order any extras?

I'm pretty sure those gashapon are the same size that the regular figure. I have seen pics (but forgot to save them) of them in their capsule and the figure is unassembled. So it could fit in the small capsule.

I have pre-ordered those months ago as they were scheduled for a september release firstly but were delayed. For those who are interested in them I suggest you to buy them now as popular gashapon don't last long. The anime coming next month will put the Beast Saga in fornt of the spotlight so I don't expect this first gashapon wave to still be available after march 2013.

Im going to post this in a couple different places so everyone sees it so sorry if you read it twice If you bought an item from me over the last few weeks and you have not received it please email me directly at saleen123456@yahoo.com , Here is the story, my store is also a us mint distributor awhile back when i shipped my last wave of stuff we had a substitute mail carrier. This mail carrier thought it wuld be a wise idea to steal our packages in hope of finding gold or silver coins. However all he got was toys it turns out As we are not stupid enough to have the USPS pick up coins those only go registered mail. The big issue is now I have to track down all these packages as we ship over 100 a day and find what ones are missing. On top of that we are opening a new store and are having serious medical problems with my Grandfather so I am very overwhelmed at the minute. I also have to go to court as we are not the only ones he stole from. I know some of you have got them but others have not and I want to make sure everyone gets there stuff before Christmas. Rest assured your items will be replaced and you will get your figure as I am sending replacements as we speak. I will be devoting the next 2 days to tracking down roughly over 2000 items as we sell to far more places than just this board. Sorry for the delay.

I wonder if that will be the only version of that bird? I really like him, but don't much care for the less detailed versions of the other three. If not, I'm guessing he will be rare and expensive as a single.

I dont know the whole story on them. I know that they come in little eggs or are supposed to anyways. I know they are random and I know that 300 come in a case. They also were scheduled to be released in October then were cancelled and somehow were made and then released on the 18th so yesterday. Mine should be here soon i will be eager to see what they look like. I know they cost slightly less then the regular figures but haven't gotten the bill yet.

@saleen: Sorry to hear about your troubles. That effing sucks! Hope you can get it cleared up without too much trouble.

Definitely let us know when the capsule figs come in, as I'll be picking up a set from you as well. Is the sales page current? I'm thinking about grabbing some other stuff from you along with the capsule toys. Thanks!

Also, I hope that things turn out ok with your grandfather. I'm going through something similar at the moment and I know it can be very hard to deal with around the holidays. Take care and best wishes to you and your family.

The link in vaal's post below has a nice set of comparative shots; they appear to be identical to the normal figures with lesser paint apps and closed fists.

I just stumbled across and ordered two sets of the gashapon guys with my last round of pre-orders from amazon.jp. At the time of posting there are still 2 sets available from this seller if anyone also has the ability to order from there; sets are about ¥1300 (~$15) incl. shipping to Japan residence.

Also pre-ordered this Beast Saga book that's set to release in January.

I received a "items in stock" email from tfsource.com regarding my Tiger/Panda/Cat BS pack. But still nothing on my Rabbit/Kangaroo from bbts.com. Anybody heard when the "December" wave figures are supposed to ship?

I got my in stock from tfsource for the set and the bunny (as well as one of the two dice sets) but not the kangaroo or second dice set.

I'm actually surprised, the japanese release date was supposed to be the 28th of December, I wasn't expecting tfsource or BBTS to have them until mid January.

I have all December Releases in Stock will update sales thread in a few hours. This includes Clear figures wave two a bunch of singles and I havnt unpacked everything but should be gumballs as well!
