I just use JWCPE myself for looking up kanji.

I actually wouldn't mind adding "Tatakate! Ramenman" to my queue...but it's growing at a rather large rate on what I want to do. (trust me: I just added "Ninku" to my queue this week, want to get started on "Hell Teacher Nube" and have several others in mind) At this point all I want to really do is concentrate on the projects that I"m doing instead of starting something else...the only good news is I only have one volume of "Cyborg Jii-chan G" left after I do the last chapter of vol. 3. (which is actually the second pilot, the first is in the final volume and may be the first chapter I do in that volume before I start tackling the end of it)

As for Kinnikuman...well luckily these were done the end of last week but I didn't get around to putting them on MH until now:

Yeah, Fight!! Ramenman is insanely difficult to translate I can do only some because it's mostly all Chinese looking Kanji and it's hard to differentiate when I look at it. I don't know why Yude decided to make it look so Chinese I guess since his storyline follows Bruce Lee in a sense that they themed it all to be that way. Most of all of the text and names are in Katakana which I can only understand a few names since the names are in Chinese Kanji to me this is a great manga but it seems insanely hard to translate on my part. If you can do it that would be awesome because I believe people would enjoy that as much as Kinnikuman.

Speaking of which, Which are the pages you need from the Kinnikuman manga? Since I own the actual manga's I'll scan the pages you need from the Volumes chapters they're missing from. I know about the Terryman and Kinnikuman (Kinniku Driver) which is 2 pages of insanely long text I think that's why he didn't scan them cause it was shrouded with text. What other pages do you need as well from the other chapters? Let me know then later on I'll scan them for you when I have some time.

Having the Ramenman manga would be a real treat for me. Ramenman is my favorite choujin from all of the legends in G1. It would be awesome to get a better and deeper insight as to how he came to be. I'm really interested in his origin back story. Of course, if you guys are too busy with other projects, I'll completely understand that you won't be doing it any time soon. Ramenman is just a bonus for me; Kinnikuman G1 is the big priority right now. By the way, you are all doing an excellent job and we highly appreciate your efforts. I just felt like saying that again to give you all some positive feedback and support.

Yeah I got it bro, lol. And Ramenman is nice I think everyone would love it. My goal is to eventually take care of Kinnikuman along with Ataru, then work on other Yude titles. I want to scan everything they've done besides Kinnikuman. At the moment I'm working on Scrap Sandayu and the Throne Arc simultaneously. I won't be able to scan Scrap until I get a new set from Japan. I own my own set but in order to scan i have to totally destroy one set so I'm gonna see when I get paid or if any would like to contribute. Then I'll get another set scan it and then translate it all and Orgg will text set it since you offered to help with this project.

Right now since the economy is really bad I'm losing more money than I'm actually making so it would be cool if any of you can help out so I can make this happen for you guys. Keep in mind I don't want to use anyone's money for my own benefit I'm only doing it so people can enjoy these obscure series. I know I shouldn't ask but times are tough these days and I don't want to destroy any of my sets since I'm also a collector of certain mangaka's and most of my sets are practically brand new. But, I will continue to translate Scrap Sandayu in full along with Kinnikuman as I'm working on both series at the same time.

So then if Suguru came up with the Muscle Millenium, why the heck didn't he complete it but Mantaro decided to do so? I guess he was just too obsessed with the Kinniku Driver to worry about it.

One note: Kinniku7man already used a very similar Muscle Millinium on Buffaloman waaaay back when. They just didn't recognise it.

And for those of you who want Akuma Shogun back after this arc...I ask this: WHY!? If Akuma Shogun is Goldman, then he can never come back! Satan can come back, but not Akuma Shogun!

There's a dead non-Goldman version of Akuma Shogun in Nisei for some reason, but they never bother to explain why, as far as I know.

I believe it's supposed to work out that Akuma Shogun is Goldman under Satan's influence. Kyo no Sho is like a physical avatar for Satan himself or just him in the body. Then again, I could be pulling at straws here.

Also, on that note, I read the backlog of storyline (well, a good chunk of it) last night. A few things I spotted.


Kin 14-chapter 178, p. 8-- Terry's speech is messed up. P. 9, 'can' should be 'can't!'

Kin 15 chapter 1, page 5-- Terryman's speech bubbles need to be reversed. They're in English-reading order.

Yeah, I noticed you (and most of the thread, actually) kept calling Satan "Akuma Shogun" when he popped up a few months ago in Nisei. I was gonna say something, but I didn't think it was a big deal.

And almost every chapter of the early Gold Mask arc has a typo in it. We've tried getting proofreaders before, but it never really panned out. I'll go back and fix them all one of these days.

1. I was pretty underwhelmed by Akuma Shogun until this chapter, but we're finally starting to see why he's considered the most dangerous villain in the series.

2. So Akuma Shogun can't hit Suguru with a chair, but Robin Mask is allowed to throw his armor into the ring? Mongolman isn't as neutral as he claims. (although he didn't have a problem with all six Devil Knights popping up in the ring, either. He's a worthless ref)

3. Did anyone else find it strange that Robin Mask's armor apparently has a number on Akuma Shogun's hardness scale?

4. I really doubt anyone but Kinnikuman would have lasted this long against Akuma Shogun. Kinnikuman's ability to improvise is the only real weakness Akuma Shogun has. (aside from his head)

5. Kinnikuman probably could have figured out the head weakness sooner if he had noticed that Akuma Shogun broke his hold every time Kinnikuman struck his head last chapter. (although Akuma Shogun all but told his weakness to the world, anyway)

I never got the whole "hardness" bit just being thrown in here except to show that Akuma Shogun can change from "slippery" to "diamond" and to compare it to the Muscle Curtain. Yudetamago just changes or develops things on a whim with this series, I've noticed.

As for Mongolman's reffing...well the only excuse I can make up is that that Robin Mask's armor isn't a weapon, technically. He should have stopped it but who the heck knows why he didn't.

And at least we now pretty much know that we only get Akuma Shogun now and that any further problems (particularly in Nisei) can be blamed on Satan...then again, they've moved on from him in Nisei unless he decides to do something worse than what he's done already.

And BTW: Yeah, I know I'm not perfect with the translations, so I think proofreading is crucial from step one.

It's probably just best not to think too hard about the exact mechanics of the numvers in Kinnikuman, otherwise you end up questioning why spinning doubles Kinnikuman's hardness. (and why Akuma Shogun's hardness wasn't increased, even though he was spinning)

And Satan's still around in Nisei, I think. Wasn't he the one who put the timebomb on Suguru, or was that someone else?

Well yeah I see all the mad typos it's best to work on it while you're actually up. Not while you're doing something in the middle of the night your senses are off balance. Like half the stuff Terryman say's I can't understand but for the most part great text setting. I'll since now I have time and all right now. I'll skim through the "Golden Mask Arc" and post all the typos you did to hopefully fix when you're not working on the new chapters that keep popping up.

By the way is it just me or am I the only person who noticed in the toy collectors section of the site. That someone had a collection of Ninja Mites I think and I seen a young Mantaro Kinniku in there. "Posed as a Ninja Mite", that's when Seiuchin was destroyed by Chriome. Terry the Kid came out wearing the flags of Seiuchin and Gazelleman to honor them. Than Mantaro Kinniku came out with a fish that was given to him by Seiuchin's sister strapped to his back singing the song "Fish Man". Obviously I was the only person to catch onto in that section bored one night looking at peoples kinkeshi collections.

I won't lie I do despise Ultimate Muscle for all it's worth, But it does have its great moments. and Besides, Mantaro's Japanese voice actor in the series makes it worthwhile to watch over and over again. People will argue and say the American voice actors are better and yes that's true to some. But if you're a die hard fan and prefer the real versions over some *** dubbed garbage like me, You'd love the series a lot more. I think the voice actors they used in the English version were all janitors cleaning toilets working for the company at the time and they approached them and said "Hey you guys look credible enough, Do you want to be voice actors for this great series we're going to destroy"!

I seen what the voice actors looked like as well their all nobody's and sound like an *** that's ready to take a ***. Besides in Japanese I'd rather listen to the real deal and who doesn't like hearing Mantaro scream out "***!!!!!!!!" and "Godamnit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" when he's getting totally obliterated by Dead Signal. America stuck their Dick inside of the Ultimate Muscle franchise and Came all over it that's why it failed as a series because it lost its fun and toilet humor. If it stuck closely to the Japanese counter-part I wouldn't be trashing it every minute I had a chance, LOL. SHIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think anything in this series is supposed to make too much sense. Think of it as the "Silver Age Superman" of Shonen: sure nothing makes sense and a lot of it is ridiculous, but it works.
