I got a bunch of kinkeshi with some bootlegs, and it's hard to tell the difference.

-Pink is a valid color for Keshi, but these two are somewhat smaller than originals. The spider guy has a messed-up back that almost obscures his copyright info, although the tribal dude seem sokay.
-The mustard-colored Sneagator is smaller than he should be. He has his copyright info, although it seems a little smudged.
-One Screw Kid is glossier and harder and less eraserlike, and reminds me of a reissue, except he's not.
-The yellow scissors/blade hands guy is way too small and the details seem odd, although he has his copyright info.
-Hawkman's yellow is faded and darker, which could just mean dirt. BUT, his injection points are on the front, not the back. That's odd!

-Any help here?

there are alot of boots in japan that were blatant ripoffs, you can usually tell by the warping, shrinkage, smudging consistency and flashing. copyright info doesnt matter on japanese boots, many have it.

-the pinks are definitely boots
-all mustard color kinkeshi are boots as well, i have a handful of them.
-the screw kid might be a 90's reissue.
-scissor guy is a boot if he is smaller and detail is off.
-hawkman with push point in front is a boot as well, color is too off.

true kinkeshi are pretty consistent, although their flesh comes in a few different hues. If something seems off, it is a pretty good guess its a boot.

Thanks! I've noticed a huge variety in flesh tones, which makes this difficult sometimes.

As for Screw Kid, he seems like he might be a reissue - does anyone know if that sculpt wasreleased in the 2002/2003 reissue set? The rubber doesn't quite feel like that, though. This reminds me a little of that Kinkotsu I can't identify.

Also, the Mountain that looks odd - that's a Popy, correct?

The green lion guy also feels a little stiffer and glossier than other kinkeshi, although I don't think there's a size difference.

so i got two packages, the first was from sherrie and a painted muscle (one of my favorite muscles ever!), and the second was from l.designs! i got a great prize from a giveaway that luke did, it being another cthulu battle beast test pull! i now have two and i can see definite design improvements over the first one. great job l.designs! the arms move much better and freely! the glow in dark is super bright!!! also included was a great test project of his, a purple dyed satan cross!!!! w00t!!!!!

i feel like an idiot! i totally forgot to put up pics of my new super rare trilogy when i got it!!!

i want to thank muscle things and jkaris for making this happen. i love my original godbeast super rare trilogy. i even got it signed by the man himself in chicago in february of this year. now i have the new muscle things version... IT'S BENDY!!!! i love the color and i love that they are flexible. so i had to put the satan cross in my SC display on my pc top. i love these! top notch job muscle things!

so the godbeast version is far right side, 4 rows back. the muscle things (a little darker) is in the front row! next to the awesome tournament satan cross that i also love!
