I have a few questions for those of you who have found these at TRU. What part of the store do they stock these in? The Action Figures?
Also has anyone four these anywhere other then TRU? I'm really just looking for the 3 packs of wave 1 as I want to complete a set and from what I read this is the only way to do it.
thanks

I believe the non-exclusive figures are worth about 63 cents each. The non-exclusives were produced three times as much as the exclusives and it is impossible to complete a full set without getting doubles of the non-exclusives, meaning everyone is going to be trying to sell and trade them.
That's why even now at the early stages almost all of the figures for sale on the secondhand market are the non-exclusives, while the exclusives such as Headless Halpert and Mighty Bite Mac are nowhere to be found.
Yeah the blind packed singles cost $2 at retail, but that was overpriced too in my opinion considering none of the exclusives were in the blind packs, and people can get a 12 pack with 4 exclusives in it for $10.
I am not faulting you, by all means sell them for what you think people will pay. I'm just telling you what I personally think a fair price is for the non-exclusives and that is 63 cents each.
I have the 4 coffin exclusives being worth $1.25 each and the 4 3-pack exclusives being worth $2.75 each. The prices I came up with are based on lowest retail prices and rarity.
james i understand your logic on the pricing.....but in my opinion nobody in their right mind would be selling slug zombies at .63 and 1.25 on the others. i think people would sit on their spares before they'd sell them at those prices. once again, just my opinion, and i mean no disrespect

Considering anyone can go to TRUs website right now and buy a 12 pack for $10 - which breaks down to 63 cents per non-exclusive and $1.25 per exclusive, I don't see how anyone would think they're worth MORE than that. Why would someone buy opened figures on the secondhand market for MORE than what getting them new-in-box would cost?
Look at all the SLUG Zombies that are showing up on ebay and in the forums for trade, I see a whole bunch of non-exclusives and nothing else.
The 3 pack exclusives are worth more. I could actually see the 3 pack exclusives selling for upwards of 3 dollars because the 3 pack costs $4 and people have to buy them only to get that 1 figure. But for the non-exclusive commons that everyone has doubles and triples of and that are all over the place? .63 cents is being generous.
I'll put up a set of my commons on ebay for .50 cents each soon just to show you.

Depending on the store, I've found them in the action figure area or the gaming cards area.

The people buying them on ebay are obviously the people that haven't seen them in their own area and don't realize TRU.com has the 12 pack in stock now. Some people would probably pay around $10/each for the 4 pack exclusives on ebay if they are worried they will never see them in stores.Considering anyone can go to TRUs website right now and buy a 12 pack for $10 - which breaks down to 63 cents per non-exclusive and $1.25 per exclusive, I don't see how anyone would think they're worth MORE than that. I wouldn't argue that my loose doubles are worth $2 each. I'm just saying I wouldn't waste my time selling them for less than that, especially on ebay.

you selling your doubles for .50 won't show me anything. i was simply stating my opinion in (most)people that have spares.....me included, wouldn't sell them for less. not worth the trouble. and you can see ended auctions on ebay where people have paid the 3.50ish or whatever asking price it was. once again, not flaming or anything, just stating i think your price value on them is way under what they should truly be valued atThe people buying them on ebay are obviously the people that haven't seen them in their own area and don't realize TRU.com has the 12 pack in stock now. I for one will hold on to any doubles or even figures i don't like rather then selling them for pennies just so down the line i can trade them for other zombies i don't have assuming other waves are easier to get. Hell if they do aliens and monsters next year then series one zombies will probably be good trade fodder.
I would suggest holding on to them. They'll be worth more in trade, here in a month, than they will be right now.

Then I am also going to put up a 12 pack on ebay for $20 and in the title and description write "Don't buy these from me on eBay, you can them for $10 at the Toys R' Us site that has them in stock". That should let them know and prevent any more people from being overcharged.

just to let ya know, if you put up an auction like that, ebay will warn you to change it, and then shut your auction down if you don't. things like that will eventually get you banned from ebay. just a heads upThen I am also going to put up a 12 pack on ebay for $20 and in the title and description write "Don't buy these from me on eBay, you can them for $10 at the Toys R' Us site that has them in stock". Can somebody please post some pics of the series 1 exclusives as I've never seen them? I've got the other standard 12 winging their away across the pond to me as we speak though!
Check out this site. It has a good pic of the 4 exclusives from Wave One.

Good to know. I guess they need wave 1 back in stock for my carrying case set, because I haven't been charged yet. My pre-order date was 3/16, so I would hope I'm pretty high on the list of getting my order filled when they come in.I got charged last night for my Wave 2 12-pack from Entertainment Earth.
