I don't think he was able to complete it during training. He wasn't flexible enough to get it to work without hurting himself. Thus he's only able to do the Ataru-edition Muscle Spark

The only reason why phoenix got out of Ataru's Muscle Spark was because Ataru's body, especially his legs, were weakened due to mammothman burning his muscle prophecy page. I bet if Phoenix didn't order mammothman to do that, Ataru would've kicked his arse. Just raising a point. Anyway, there's no way T&L will be getting out of this situation.

I don't think that'll happen, That smoke thing has drained their powers to the point were they're both exhausted.

They set up the Muscle spark and Big Ben, but halfway through they both started to lose control, Mantaro went vertical, so they locked themselves together and created the Muscle Kingdom!

I agree. This doesn't really upgrade the Muscle spark from it's own devastating power, but still, Muscle Kingdom is still cool

Ugh, so much for my hopes that T&L would win, and subsequently lose to a resurrected Chaos in an Acceleration-powered battle. This could give Lightning some backstory and tie in with their killing of Chaos' family. Thunder Heel Face Turn optional.

Instead, we get the most preposterous comeback since the Mantaro/Ricardo fight (it almost has me suspecting that T&L's time-rewinding recovery technique was a mere ruse) and an IMO rather boring tag team attack (not that Niku-LAP or Muscle Evolution were much better).
