Well, this months Marvel Q&A from Hasbro was pretty lame. Nothing new except maybe an Unmasked Norman as Iron Patriot is confirmed. Also a ray of hope for Characters like Bishop and Cable. Can't wait for those 2 guys.

http://marvelousnews...23&itemid=13139

Some folks I guess keep asking for Movie figs in the MU line. Screw that. I just want comic renditions.

If Hasbro wanted to make movie X-Men 3 3/4 figures I'd have much rather seen them in the Wolvering Orgins line. Same with Spider-Man I'd rather seethem in a dedicated line. I know with Iron Man I'm just picking up the comic figures with one or two others from the movie or concept lines that I think are really cool.

Okay, I can't wait to get my Awesome Galactus later this year, and a Window box is just great.....But I am very very drawn to the exclusive carded version. :D

That has to be the most awesome gimmicky packaging I've seen yet. I don't particularly want to pick up Galactus, as I'm cooled off on this line (never finding ANY 2010 waves certainly helps), but that right there has cemented that Hasbro is indeed awesome and has collectors' interests at heart too. They're by no means perfect, but other acts of goodwill and fun stuff like this makes up for most of the faults.

Really, the audacity of producing a two-foot blister card! It boggles my mind!

Galactus looks incredible!! It appears he would require his own table/concrete slab to support him though.
But then again isn't he a devastatingly immense character in the comics? Like a planet crusher?

I felt the same way Boa. A 2 foot blister is just awesome! I'm extremely tempted to try and get one of these along with the boxed version. Just so I can stick this guy up on my wall. It's simply sick.

Some crappy photos of Wave 5 2010 have been popping up... scans from Toyfare?

Any way, I hope for better shots soon.

http://i.marvelousne...d...600&start=0

Captain Britain looks like he will be top notch. Appears to be reusing Colossus' boots?

Ghost Rider looks to be Sick, as does Team X Wolvie.

I'm very sad about Mystique. Hasbro boasted about a new Female Body coming out soon, and it appears they didn't use it for Mystique. Suckage.... The head sculpt better darn well be spot on, or I can assure you everyone who stinked about Jean Grey will be in an uproar again.

And MM really needed a Jacket. I will be buying at least 3 of him, and if I have to, I'll make some coats for each of em.

They went with that version of Multiple Man? REALLY? Blargh.

Mystique doesn't look like shizznit from the tiny image alone, but only time and new images will tell.

Ghost Rider seems excellent enough. Whether intentionally or not, it seems difficult to screw up GR.

I barely know anything about Captain Britain, and I was expecting something a bit more like Union Jack, but with these images, it's hard to judge the figure's actual size. Just seemed like he was larger since you mentioned sharing parts with Colossus.

I know that Wolverine all too well from the days of the old Toy Biz stuff. I didn't care for the suit then, certainly don't now.

Hmm. Which version of MM were you expecting? Isn't this his original getup? Chances are they will have a variant of each of these guys eventually.

Captain Britain was typically big. And I was wrong about the boots. They just gave new knees to the Big Male Body(wrecking crew). So I guess that will be okay. I'd have liked to see a more streamlined big body though. I hope and expect that the body types will gradually improve. Sadly I just noticed the other week that the Skrull Soldier is using the Silver Surfer Body. Yuck.. Guess the slimmer frame is more skrull like, but I was hoping for some big Skrull soldiers. Maybe they will mix up the bodies for the Skrull, so we can get some nice size variations. Crap I wish I worked for Hasbro, so I could pitch this stuff.

And my only response on the TX costume is I agree. It was pretty heinous back in the day. But even with the tiny picture, It looks promising. If we are fortunate it will be a unique body type, and Hasbro will give us some other Team X characters with simple head and hand swaps.

It's hard to get excited by wave 10 when I don't have wave 8 yet. I also wonder how acurate these photos are didn't we see a nicer version of Mary Jane before getting the final version that is supposed to be released. I love Captain Britain, not suprised by Mystique (sad yes, suprised not at all), and agree MM should have a trenchcoat. I don't see any other accessories so throw us a bone Hasbro.

Was hoping for something a lot more modern, like in the Madrox mini or early on in X-Force. When I still gave a crap.

So does anybody know enough to confirm that Multiple Man is the ultimate universe version? That is supposed to explain the blue costume instead of the green one.

In positive news my local Toys r Us restocked wave 7, so I've now seen all characters at least twice and the more common ones like Cage and Iron Man several diffrent times and places. So hopefully I'll be getting wave 8 soon.

The one that had the X on his cowl, and had more of a blackish suit? I'd have preferred that one as well.

You may be right. I never looked at any of the Ultimate stuff, so It didn't occur to me that this was that one. If that's the case, I'll only be buying one, and hope for a variant of one of his 616 costumes. I was wondering about the blue suit.

Either way he needed a jacket. I'll say this again later.

That would have been a great one as well. It seems like most of the best looking Legends aren't coming out. I feel sorry for the folks who invested so much time and money into the line. Now they have to settle for adding a handful of figs to their collections every year. 2 packs have all been lame that I have seen.

Sadly I fear the same for this line after 5 years. Maybe collectibles will die out completely if oil keeps spewing into the ocean.

Well, one of them guys from Hong Kong has a bunch of MU figs and other Hasbro figures straight from the factory up for sell. And someone posted this one on another board.

http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item27b23c1a0e

Looks like that mystery 6 pack isn't a mystery anymore.

The guy didn't mention this one though, so I guess he missed it. Awesome! Can't wait to get this figure!

Cyclops again thumbs down, Storm and Thunderbird thumbs up.
Rather have seen a Banshee instead of Cyclops or Nightcrawler.

I was just thinking how I wanted Thunderbird single carded so I could buy two one for Thunderbird and one for Hellion Warpath.

I'd rather have Iron Man 2020 in the IM2 line thicker bodied sculpt.

I agree on all points. Personally I think the 6 pack is pretty lame. And that is a XMO Wolverine in there. I guess they did that for scale issues? Which is funny, cause Thunderbird is a little too short IMO, and Nightcrawler is too tall. At least Colossus has something new going on, besides just a simple color change. Storm looks okay, but I have been hoping for that new female body to be utilized sooner than later. :)

And I was actually expecting IM2020 to be in the movie line as well. The MU one isn't too great, but It is pretty rad taht they are gonna make him. Interestingly enough, he was in last years pick 5 poll. So I'm going out on a limb here and saying he was the last of the 7 Fan Choice winners?

Mary Jane
Luke Cage
Mystique
ArchAngel
Captain Britain
Havok
Winter Soldier
Multiple Man
.... Wait a Minute. I thought they said seven would be made But these guys were on the poll too.
Iron Man 2020
Thunderbird

That makes 10, and I guess Hasbro is just gonna make what they want when it comes down to it.

Also someone else noticed the Havok Variant for sale as well. Much better than that crappy looking modern Havok.

Is that Team X body from the Origins line? Nice head sculpt, but what's up with the gimpy left hand?

Britain and Rider are the tops of the wave. Lovin both of em.

Well, that sucks. So that's 2 figures coming from the Origins line. Has me thinking we will see IMII figures getting repacked in the MU line as well as no new figures for Sabretooth, Deadpool, or Gambit. The Ball Hips just don't fit in with this line.

What the heck is going on! The same eBay seller is chunking out even more figures!

Thanos, AOT Thor, Yellow Jacket/w Antman, and a Winter Soldier variant.

http://marvelousnews...23&itemid=13207

You guys think Hasbro is doing this on purpose? They usually are very secretive.

Thanos looks like he is Huge, and possibly is reusing the Juggernaut body.

Also got a unpainted WWII Cap up.

He looks to have some cool accessories.

Few more new things.

The new Punisher looks sick, and well worth buying another IM repaint.

Although the video doesn't show a close up of the face.

And the Death Archangel variant, and a BAD@$$ Constrictor figure. :)

Are the Target two packs starting to hit retail?

I was worried about that Punisher looking good, I'm sure I'm going to want the more modern look of the Black Panther and don't really want two more Iron Mans. In good news I hope we see that Constrictor and Death Archangel figures man those are tight.
