Found the maker of some of those effect parts he used.

http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?scode=TOY-RBT-1957&page=top%2Fsearch%2Flist%3Fs_keywords%3DEffect+part%24pagemax%3D100%24getcnt%3D0%24pagecnt%3D1

AmiAmi has a ton of them but they're all backordered.

I would love to know where the guy who runs that blog got those plastic "special effect" elements, like the water, fire, electricity, energy, some blood spatter. Really cool stuff that I'm sure is a Japan-only item. Anyone with info on how to pick any of these up or what they would even be called so I at least could use a keyword? ;)

What I wonder about, is why or where the guy gets those naked teenage anime dolls? Creepy as sh*t that he not only buys those, but poses them in slutty ways too. I guess it's a Japanese thing.

The naked body is a blank body, as far as I can tell. He just popped the extra head from a Figma on it. I think the gag is that it's supposed to be a giant doll because the real character shows up.

I challenge you to visit the Shibuya district of Tokyo sometime and find a single city block of stores that doesn't have at least ONE selling nude anime statuettes. But yes, I do believe that one is just a blank body without any of the "features" you would see on such a product.

From my experience though, they put little stickers over the naughty parts. Have to keep it classy, after all. ;)

I've been wondering about that myself. I figured we would've seen something by now, they certainly have enough characters that have been shown but haven't been released yet. I'm betting it will be pretty soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the salmon coming out in the near future, and hopefully the crab will get worked in there somewhere.

Right now I'm more concerned with the kangaroo being a no-show outside of Japan...

And I want that General Hawk guy (YO JOE!!!) released in a non-capsule format. There's also a seahorse seen at the back of one of the card and that Zebra seen in the anime...

I too, am bummed out about the no-show kangaroo. Also, have been expecting April preorders by now. I'm hoping for more Sky Tribe members, as they are falling behind on the count. I'd also like to see the mandrill and the seahorse arrive.

Just got my bull/lioness/walrus and sofubi lion and shark. The sofubis are massive and hollow. Their arms move and they twist at the waist, but the legs don't move like the traditional BS figure. The lion looks awesome. His eyes are less derpy and his arms are jacked. They feel like something you squeeze and hold under water, then squirt out. But they don't have a squirt hole. I'm still waiting for the sofubi eagle. But the eagle and the shark's arms look smaller than the body. Pretty cool though.

Yeah I just got mine today as well. The eagle is a monster and weighs considerably more than the lion or the shark. I was surprised at how big the figures were! I'm pretty happy with them, and they will make a great backdrop for the rest of my collection.

TFSource still hasn't gotten them in yet, so I've gone to a Japanese seller to get the new ones along with the Kangaroo and some of the dice.

Since people are getting theirs, if someone can take some pictures of the front and backs of the three new cards, I'd appreciate it as I won't have them for a while I think.

On another note, the cyber Mandrill on the back of the lioness' card looks pretty menacing.

Speaking of card back... did anyone else notice that the art on the back of Pirazone's card depicts a completely different looking Bill Sword in the original starter deck version while the DX starter set card has art that better reflect the actual toy? Same with the turtle who had a different style of hat.

Yeah, I've wondered about the Bill Sword looking different on the back of Pirazone's card as opposed to Garrison G's. Also, different look than the actual toy. I like the other look better, same with the turtle. The turtle artwork looks like he has a steering wheel from a pirate ship on his head.

Yeah I like the other design for Bill Sword, not that the goggles aren't interesting it's mostly the shoulders who look lower. For the turtle though I'm perfectly fine with what we got, the other design looks a bit busy and probably wouldn't have work as well with the limited paint apps.

Just caught the third episode of the anime and even though I cant understand whats being said, its still fun to watch.

Kinda sad that the character that many people had been calling a Lioness is actually a young male lion cub. I want more females in the line. Also, the Zebra would have made a decent female but he's a guy too.

It was a great first look at the crab, octopus and gave us a better look at the pig, mole, baboon and another hamster looking creature. I cant wait for someone to translate the show and hopefully they do add more females. It is nice to see that the one female in the line does seem to play a decent role in the show.

I don't know why people thought Oruga was a Lioness. He had the same armor as Lioga, I was expecting him to be his little brother. Beside, I doubt they would sell a female character in a single pack.

Still it would be nice to have females for the other tribes too.

Looks like boosters volume 4 and 5 are coming out. Don't know if they are going to be the same as the other clear figures that are out because the price of the case is significantly lower, priced at $114.99 instead of $179.99. I hope that they are not just a bunch of dice boosters without figures.

I would guess after booster volumn 3 (which should be the Jan Jan (Panda), Sianbi (Cat), Orga (Lion), Buffam (Buffalo), Seylas (Walrus), Manta Ray (Manta), Guero (Frog), and Algyro (Armadillo)) as a set of 8, volumn 4 and 5 may be sets of 6 (ie, only 18 figures rather than 24) and they'll continue to release 3 individuals for a bit, or maybe after March, another Starter + 2 guys. This is just assuming that they continue to use the Boosters to give the Burst cards of characters they've already released.

I preordered 1 of each. Used to be 2 of each but I'm tired of BBTS's method of 'randomly' picking boxes in a row, netting me twice the same figure over and over. I'd rather just throw an extra booster into my orders from time to time.

It is odd that the boosters are suddenly less expensive too...unless BBTS is buying in bigger bulk than before and got a better deal? Also the booster are called 'Beast Fight Collection' strangely enough...odd...

Nah, Magic Lot booster already are at volume 4 anyway. Volume 1 is Change, Volume 2 Reverse, Volume 3 Join and Volume 4 Inverse. I got a volume 1 and volume 4 booster today (alongside the Tiger starter, Bill Sword and what turned out to be a clear Sainyas in a booster). I got way too many Doping dice right now, including another Lv2 one. Got a lv2 +5 though and another Lv2 Mirror :D

I still don't get the point of Doping! In its basic form you need to sacrifice FIVE MAgic Lot dice for it to be a better pick than +4 (which has the same chance of going off at 3/6) and if using a lv2 you can get away with 4 dice but still at that point I'd use a lv2 +4 instead.

I don't know if I would put much stock in that, the stock picture for volumn 1 and 2 had Lepermint and Seylas in it you know? Though there is that red text underneath him, so who knows? The Red Text in the upper right does say something like "1 of 6 Random species" which says to me that the Boosters are dropping from 8 different figures to 6, which explains the price difference in the cases.

I hadn't gotten around to watching these until I read that; so worth it! Loving that they both look so similar to the originals! :D
