Mountain grabbed hold of his opponent's arm and went for a wakigatame. Meanwhile, all the strings on Terryman's boot snapped.

"Mountain!! It's okay to stop being persistent as a devil! Just give up!" - Buffaloman

"Oi, Buffaloman!" - Springman

Then Buffaloman remembered...

As the 6 devils were spectating, Buffaloman entered.

"Sorry for being late. I have heard all of it. What face I would show up with, and I know what you all wanted to say. However, after putting much thought on the overall situation, I've come to the conclusion that I can only come back here and fight. You all might not like it to have a guy who has once left the group around, but now I would be fighting with you as a devil just like back then." - Buffaloman

Black Hole went close and gave Buffaloman an uppercut.

"Gege, we will end our grudge with that. Isn't this all good? Not only the 'Great One" has returned, even you have come back when we least expected." - Springman

"And with that, we 'Devil Choujin team' are back! We greatly welcome your return instead!" - Mister Karmen

"K-Karmen!" - Buffaloman

"Gegege. Now that you've returned, don't you act like a Justice Choujin. If I see you going soft in battle, I won't cut you any slack." - Atlantis

"Hmm, without a doubt, you are the only one fitting as the leader of us seven." - Black Hole

"That's why, as the temporary leader of the seven, I'll be passing that baton to you. Gegege." - Stecasse King

"Who are you calling 'the temporary leader', huh!?" - Black Hole (Getting Stecasse King on a hold)

"Ow~ow~ow" - Stecasse King

"Guys, thank you..." - Buffaloman

"Now that the 7 Devil Chojins have assembled, we will choose who to fight from the Perfect Large Number leaded by Strong the Budo!" - Springman

"While that bastard named Marlinman is an aquatic superman like me, I don't like that face of his. Let me take on him!" - Atlantis

"The gods have sent me a vision! I shall turn the blood-lusting Crushman into a mummy!" - Mister Karmen

"Gegege. Then I will take on that expressionless robot superman. I shall turn that into a face of anguish with my loud musics!" - Stecasse King

"Leave it to me to handle that dog. I will give a great show to you all!" - Black Hole

"Hmm, that Kinnikuman might interfere, but I will take on that mysterious baby!" - Springman

"Then, I'll take on Strong the Budo! Hmm? There is only one cloak... What the!?" - Buffaloman

The last cloak was taken by Mountain.

"I'll be taking on Budo!" - Mountain

"W-wait. You should have heard that he is not an easy opponent. Strong the Budo is unlike the others. This might not be a victory our 'Great One' wished for... He most probably meant this slot as a sacrifice*! Against such difficult opponent, you have to fight him with full preparation for death. That's why you should leave it to the one who just returned as a devil! I can easily visualize the grudge you all had as you continued hellish training while I was with the Justice Choujin. With that in mind, I can only atone myself by being the sacrifice for you all." - Buffaloman

Yet, Mountain tugged on the cloak.

"Buffaloman, do you know why the 'Great One' wants you back here?" - Mountain

"That's..." - Buffaloman

"He didn't mean to use you as a sacrifice. You're the ace of the Devil Choujin team - the 'Stem of the fan'!" - Mountain

"'Stem of the fan'?" - Buffaloman

"You possess power similar to 6 Devil Knights held great by the 'Great One' himself. Even so, you decide to put yourself in the front line as a common devil for your love of continous battles. With someone like you who is filled with manliness and power, we 7 Devil Choujin can function as an "independent squad" with pride matchable to those 6 Devil Knights above us." - Mountain

"Gegege, we can only be one team with seven of us after all. Back then and now, there is only one man fitting to be the leader." - Atlantis

"For a leaderless squad, there is no one better but you, Buffaloman. And that's why the 'Great One" has bestowed us a grace - by having the one who is perfect and high-spirited like you back with us!" - Springman

"Y-you all..." - Buffaloman

"It will be inexcusable if you go first and ready to die. That's why I will take this. The one that match with that Budo's gigantic body are just both you and me. At the very least, I can overcome him with this body of mine... There is no way I'll be killed without doing anything at all." - Mountain

"But..." - Buffaloman

"Don't you look down at me. I'm one of the Devil Choujins as well. I won't just die like that." - Mountain

"Even when I have no chance to win halfway into it, I'll try to buy you some time. In return, no matter how I end up, don't you ever turn your eyes away. Burn all of Budo's attacks into your very eyes. That's my only request!" - Mountain

And with that, Mountain showed the sign.

"Gehihihi. Don't you make that face now. I'm not going to be a sacrifice in your stead. It's just us being the sacrifices for you. You should understand this... right?" - Mountain

"Yeah... all for the 'Great One'..." - Buffaloman

"For the 'Great One'!!" - Devil Choujins

And the flashback ended.

"Do you remember now? The words Mountain have left us with?! 'No matter how I end up, don't you ever turn your eyes away.'" Springman

"Mountain!" - Buffaloman

"D-don't turn your eyes away! Over here! Look at these very moments with both of your eyes!! Koff!" - Mountain

"Lowly superman, I don't know why you have persisted but you have done well till now... However, it seems like your body is at its limit..." - Strong the Budo

He gave Mountain a kick to get away from the hold.

"The Mountain, I respect your determination. I shall grant you a 'death sentence'!" - Strong the Budo

Strong the Budo flung Mountain to the rope. He himself then followed swift and flung himself to the rebound Mountain for a hold.

"The 'Devil' will never surpass the 'perfect'! Perfect Warrior - Helmet Crush**!!" - Strong the Budo

And with that, part of Mountain's head shattered. Yet, Strong the Budo motioned to put both his opponent's hands together.

"And it ends..." - Strong the Budo

'Defeated', with the highest pride

* - It's worded as "Sacrificed stone". It's a term used in japanese chess known as Go, but seems to be a perfect pun for Mountain here.

** - 'Kabuto'(兜) is the japanese term for helmet

Well, ain't Sunshine telling the truth? I don't see such chumminess from even the Justice Choujin(Excluding the main protagonists). And seems like this Budo is more respectful towards his opponents than the one from before. Is he really the same one?

That being said, I have a bitersweet taste in my mouth about 7 akuma choujin being that sentimental. It's good to see they treat each other so well, but it's hard to see them as the tough bad guys that way!

Also, as I've said before this isn't King Neptune at all. Not only the different powers but his treat to enemies. That last page has been amazing!

Dialogue from Strong the Budo earlier confirmed it's the same Budo. He stated he was teamed with Neptuneman and spent "time" moulding him. This was during the Peekaboo fight, when he said he was trying to turn Peekaboo into his next protoge or something. The name change is just to differentiate himself from the servile Budo who was with Neptuneman.

I've noticed that Most of Budo's move rely solely on Power. His Budo's Iron Fist, punching the crater in Mountain, that one handed brain buster, and of course his Perfect Warrior - Helmet Crush. Of course, that might just be him being a badass and just using pure power to win.

And seriously, "Helmet Crush"? He smashed his skull!

Well, how does that add up to Suguru's lesson of "Simple techniques"? Is it going to be a Karate Kid story, of small, solid fundamentals beating oppressive brute force?

It is interesting to note how often Mountain had the upper hand in this match. Basically, he had no trouble catching Budo off guard or hitting or throwing him, but Budo was always able to break out of Mountain's holds and pin attempts whenever Mountain tried to maintain them. The Mountain would have done much dryer if he had kept tossing Budo around, capitalizing on his moves rather than trying to hold one.

That does seem kind of bizarre... But if he went into it, as a sacrifice for Buffaloman's learning benefit, it makes a little sense... Unless he is double crossing the Devil Chojin. That seems a little Russo for Yude's taste, though.

Well, Mountain showed off Budo's fighting style (by taking hits), showed some wekanesses (by hitting him), and showed how to resist being turned into a human.

I think this is the first time I see Suguru winning a fight without getting all beaten up. He is really strong now.
Also, I'm thinking what's going to happen in the next chapter to develop this arc. So far it is plain simple and there is no ultimate danger to earth. Well, it's just choujin who are in danger, I mean.

And about the Budo discussion, it's going to take a lot of chapters (several, if it's going to be like Nisei Tag Team Arc, hope not) to find out who is behind Budo's helmet.
Just as a reminder, Big the Budo was a disguise for King Neptune and so far there are strong proof that:
· He may be King Neptune, as he talks about training Neptuneman and raising him to be one of his top fighters. And the fact he is really old, as to know ancient choujin history is a great hint too.
· He may not be King Neptune, as he doesn't seem to be such a cheater as King Neptune was during Tag Team arc. Just seeing him talk about The Mountain being a fair good opponent and putting Mountain arms for eternal rest. I don't think King Neptune would do that as he was before.

That said, I really hope it's someone we don't know. Or someone related to Golden/Silver mask (are they still fused?)
Oh. And is Omegaman to show up? He was a perfect choujin too.

@Evil Lord Proteus: Don't forget we don't know for sure if there was a Big the Budo before King Neptune used his costume. I've always thought Neptuneman and King defeated Budo and stole his identity. Remember them stealing masks to get perfect choujin hidden identities and conquer Earth (that was a weird plan though).
That's also a motivation for this Strong the Budo to be that angry. There's a chance for this to be true, it's just that Yudetamago likes to play with plots and readers.

Yeah, I've said it before that I want Omegaman to show up. He might even be one of the as of yet unrevealed Perfects Budo braught with him. Possibly having kept his best men in reserve.

I'll put it as clear as possible: I'm starting to think the greatest Idol Chiyojin, our dearest "Big A" may have succumbed to darkness... Big Budo no baka! I remember Him seying: "Suguru, I'm not THAT good. If I won, maybe I'd wanted to recover the crown" or something similar in the Throne arc.

Ovbiously is just a weird idea that just crossed my head.

i wouldn't bet on that if i were you theres no way Ataru is Budo Ataru never had the ability to turn someone human thats one thing a Kinniku can't do

I mean, Yude could ostensibly write Ataru into having those chojin-stripping-powers...
But, the logical argument, is that Ataru had zero to do with training Neptuneman. Therefore, it's PROBABLY not him.

Don't mean to get off topic, but I just want to inform everyone that there are 2 new characters in Kinnikuman Muscle Fighting. "Seigi Chojin Neptuneman" & "Woolman (one of the members of the original Kinnikuman Soldier members)". I saw their videos showing off the techniques and special attacks, and it is awesome!!! Based on predictions people are making and past stories, all I can tell you is: We're never gonna expect it! Kinnikuman is a series where new things just come out of nowhere and on a whim. For all we know, one of these characters might end up having a different look or some brand new super power we've yet to experience, and some new characters might appear with a backstory explained later on. Like I said, nothing we'll expect 100% at all.
