Oh, and let's not rule out the possibility that Thunder might return. I cant remember if I've already said that or not and cant be bothered checking...

I got a question, isn't Akuma Shogun basically Satan in a physical form?

Didnt the legends retire because they were, well, old?
Sunshine and Budo were seen in Nisei/UM founding the devil factory, so I dunno. Did it ever show who the Zangyaku founder was?

Yes, it showed ShimaÅ/Skulldozer as the Zangyaku founder.

But if Akuma Shogun and Strong the Budo are going to fight, then how is Akuma Shogun going to get to Goldman? He combined himself with Silverman, so now they are one person... How is this going to work?Akuma Shogun was Goldman in a physical form. General Terror in Nisei (who looks like Shogun, and can be implied to be the Great One due to similar appearance), is most likely Satan in physical form.

Thinking about this I've read chapter 44 from the Golden Mask Arc and I've re-readed that it was Satan who contacted Goldman when he was resting with Silverman after their battle. Most likely it will be General Terror, not Akuma Shogun, who will fight Budo. The Nisei manga doesn't help much to elaborate the difference between Shogun and Terror, but it does shown that they are different entities, so the Great One most likely is General Terror from Nisei, not Akuma Shogun from the original.

Yude nor the Japanese audience nearly put as much thought into these things as we do.
Isn't "General Terror" just the Viz translation for Akuma Shogun?

Thinking about this I've read chapter 44 from the Golden Mask Arc and I've re-readed that it was Satan who contacted Goldman when he was resting with Silverman after their battle.
Satan was lured by Goldman hatred for peace and offered him a way to destroy seigi choujin and peace. Then offered his (Satan's I mean) Devil Knights to have a body to fight as both Silverman and Goldman decapitated each other in the end of their battle.
Then it's clear that Goldman and Satan are separate entities and Akuma Shogun is Goldman fused with the Devil Knights, that brings back the "General Terror" issue, as Akuma choujin needed Meat's head to get the whole pack.
That said, it's possible that "The Great One" could be Satan itself, and finally getting Suguru to fight him one on one.
Edit: I think I should read Kinnikuman again, it may be more than 5 years since I read it last time and I'm forgetting like a lot of fundamental thing there LOL

No it isn't. Even the Japanese used 'General Terror' in Nisei.

I researched this, and here's what I came up with:
Akuma Shogun literally means "General Devil" in English, and 悪é”å°†è» are the Japanese characters for Akuma Shogun.
In Nisei, Ashuraman attempts to revive "General Fear", and æ怖ã®å°† are the Japanese characters for that name.
So it appears that Akuma Shogun and General Fear are not one in the same. General Fear may very well be Satan manifested in physical form. That being said, The Great One is most likely General Fear.
