I did have one of those Parachuting Spider-Man figures from the 90's toybiz line though. Pretty lame, the lines were like taped or glued to the awesome Web design chute. Still have the chute draped over the top of my display cases. It was actually pretty big.

I wonder if Nomad is in the pipeline now that we have a baby sculpt.

But I have to be honest. If the Captain America toy series does decent, and we get a few waves of Comic figs, aside from a few already revealed, I'd be all over any extra Invaders, Falcon, Baron Blood, Zemo, Arnim Zola, Strucker, Batroc, Blue Streak, Porcupine, I'm certain this line will deliver a Hydra Agent, Viper, and Task Master.
Shoot, I'd even like to get a Hate Monger and Master Man. I don't care what people think, some of us want Nazi's to have our figures wail on. And a Hitler Clone, and Pure blooded Aryan Nazi Super Villain would definitely fill those gaps. You would think they would use these kinds of characters for exclusive purposes. I don't believe comic fans at a con are gonna get upset about Nazi themed figures... well, not all of them.
Hmm... Now I want a Warrior Woman too.
This is my current problem with the IMII series. Not enough comic characters. Different IM armors are cool, but there are so many untapped characters from his neck of the woods. Different versions as well. Where's my Big Titanium Man? Or classic Crimson Dynamo?
Hopefully MU will in some way shape or form deliver some of these characters to us. That's why I'm disappointed every time we get a crappy Spidey, IM, or Cap repaint, when we could have had a completely unique character.

I would think Falcon has a very good shot at getting a figure in this line, and man if there isn't a Bartoc what a wasted opprotunity.
I wonder how many of us roll like that URS. I know I have 90% of the Wolverine and IMII comic lines missing only a few versions of the main characters, but I only have a handful of movie or concept figures. Most of the movie Iron Man figures I have came in boxed sets. So yes on more comic characters for me.

Iron Man, I only skipped the classic Iron Man, Stealth, and Dikto so far I believe. Only have like 6 concept/movie figs, and only one of them has deemed worthy for my display. I'll probably sell/trade the rest.
I really don't understand it, but some collectors out there are only interested in buying Top Tier characters over and over again. The sad thing is that if Hasbro couldn't sell these guys over and over, they would probably just drop the line.
I have two shelves devoted to my MU collection so far, and they are separated into the 1 of every character shelf, and the alternate costume/variant/alternate identity figs. I don't mind alternate costumes when they are something extremely noticeable like Ms. Marvel. And I do expect variants of some characters, but at the same time I can't help but think if they held off on the variations that we would have a ton more unique characters. Maybe forty or more at the moment. Crud, I have Iron Patriot and Green Goblin(Target2Pack) getting mauled by all my Iron Man and Spider Man variants.
I just can't help looking at simpler times, sure we had the radical re-sculpt of a main character in a new uniform from time to time, like Luke Skywalker in the Vintage Star Wars Line, or He-Man Skeletor in MOTU. But no where near as many rehash figures now a days. Vintage SW had 7 Lukes released within a 8/9 year period. MOTU had only 5 He-Mans in it's 7 year run. Six if you count Adam. By the end of this year we will have 13 Spider-Man figures...14 if you want to count Dark Spider-Man(Gargan). It hasn't even been 2 whole years with this line yet. At that rate we could essentially have nearly 40 Sider-Man figures if the line lasted for 6 years and released a Spiderman figure every 2 to 3 months.
There hasn't been this many figures of the same characters since Toybiz's Wolverine kick in the 90's.

Speaking of which, I miraculously found wave 11 just an hour ago! Stopped by my local wal-mart just to do something, kind of hoped to see some more IM stock, but there they were fresh on the pegs!
This is the store that hasn't stocked any new single carded MU figs since last November with wave 6. So I was doubly surprised. I was severely disappointed to see Wal-Mart jacked up the price though.

Spidey's lines were all over the place. Thor's eyes were creepy, and the paint on his armor pieces were all messy, especially the cape pegs on the shoulders. Iron Man was a poor variant, you could barely tell the difference between the W7 version and this one. Unless you just consider this one the sloppy variant.
With all these issues it didn't help that TRU jumped the price up over 2 more bucks. I was not about to pay $14.99 for crappy figures, much less crappy figures I already had decent versions of. This is the first set of figures I have willingly passed up. I doubt I'll ever buy these packs unless I find some good quality ones at the normal $12.88 price mark.
I kind of feel like Hasbro wants to kill the Comic Packs off. I actually kind of hope they do now. Only 1 new character in the whole bunch, and they couldn't even make all the repacks look half decent enough to buy. It would have been better at least if Wolverine had a snarling head, and Cap a yelling head....crud they could have even actually sculpted the cuts into Caps shield for a better affect than just painting 3 silver lines on it.

My TRU finally stocked Galactus! Yay!
He's a big boy who will gobble up tons of space. Just like he does in the comics!

Folks have also been getting their Dark Galactus figs in from their Pre-orders, and a few online shops claim to have Wave 12 in stock. So I'm ready to jump at the first reports of retail sightings.
With the possibility of a huge number of anticipated Variant figures being cased out here soon, and the more than likely possibility of Wave 12 being ultra stocked in the next month or so, it may turn out to be an expensive Holiday season.
I'm still lacking these variants
Long Haired Winter Soldier
Osbourne Iron Patriot
New Head Wolverine
And I actually need a new Age of Thunder Thor. His foot broke off.

Also I've already almost lost my mini ant-man figure. Opened up Yellow Jacket in the car and dropped Ant-Man down between the seat and console. It took me like three solid minutes to pry him out of there. But it's still a way better accessory than another lame energy blast or an M-16.

It's one of those figures that even though you have, you go OOOO!!! when you see it on a peg.

I'll probably pass on Ultimate Scorpion due to what looks like an action feature in his tail, poor artic, and raising line prices.
Poor Spider-Man rouges gallery, so many great villains who will get second rate figures.

Found Wave 12 this weekend. Went on a figure search Friday It was a total bust. Stopped by ToysRUs and they only had the new Iron Man... so I was a little annoyed that I missed the rest. Tried to get some employees to help me out, but that ended out pretty useless. So I snagged one anyway.
Had to go back over that direction again, so I stopped in once again, but they still didn't have anything. I checked cause they often restock on Saturday mornings. I stopped by the Wal-Mart across the street Friday as well, but that store hasn't restocked any MU in forever. I forced myself to stop there again today just to check, and what do I see as I'm walking into the aisle? WAVE 12!
Iron Man turned out to be a fantastic figure. The best MU IM yet, he has rocker ankles as well. I usually don't care for rockers, but they work pretty well in this scale.
Doc Samson is acceptable, but I'm kind of tired of the Thunderball Body's arms. They are just kind of gimpy.
Mar-Vell is just perfect! They chose the perfect Body for him, and his paint and head sculpt were all tops! Nice clean sleek figure. Love him. Same can be said with SM 2099.
Spider-Woman didn't turn out so bad either. Instead of the wings clipping on like they appeared on the prototype, they are slipped onto the arms like rings on the upper and fore-arms. They aren't perfect, but they are a soft plastic, that bends when you move her elbows. She has a great head sculpt. My figure had a poorly tooled ankle, so the hinge was off center...looks weird, but not noticeable.
And of Course WW Hulk! I found 2, so I bought both. Sure and glad I did too. The first one I opened was all screwed up. His head wasn't pegged in all the way, because they couldn't weld the chest pieces together right because the back was warped where it met the neck, so his head came right off. And his ab felt like it was hanging there, so he just flailed around,

The 2 packs have been popping up EVERYWHERE here. I've seen tons of em.
I'm actually more concerned about the Galactus figs rotting TRU shelves. I don't want next years Sentinels getting the shaft cause Galactus isn't selling. I hear Wal-Marts are supposed to get some Galactus as well. I hope they get the UA version.
And I wonder why hasbro hasn't revealed any new Comic Pack or singles waves. We pretty much knew at least the 2nd wave of 2010 by this time.

The only character I know I don't want is The Impossible Man never liked any of his stories, but I said the same thing about Sentry and I'm going to buy another Spider-Man just to get him.
OH CRAP!! I'm so with you there. I know I'd be doop and buy him anyway, but I always hated Impossible Man. Why is it when Marvel comes up with a cruddy gimmick character they suck, but when DC does it they are pretty cool? Batmite anyone?
Still... I hope Hasbro seeks out a short term license so we can at least get ROM as an exclusive. Got to get some ROM love eventually.
