The "Spirits" of the Brocken Family

Blood spilled out profusely from the Iron Glove. Part of it spilled down the ring below, making Ramenman worried of his young friend.

"That lowly superman sure have preserved long, but apparently he has been defeated by Crushman. Next will be you, Ramenman! Side Triangle Hold!" - Marvelous

"I have crushed countless lowly supermen, but it's certainly a special sensation to crush an Idol Choujin. Take a good look, lowly superman and humans! Here's the minced state of your beloved Idol Choujin!" - Crushman

Crushman opened his Iron Glove, and the crowd could only gasp. There they saw Brocken Jr, totally tattered and bleeding.

"The 'Face Fighter' and 'Thousands Years Immature Hack". It seems like you can't change any of them after all. And now, lowly superman, get away from my priced body!!" - Crushman

With that, he threw Brocken Jr away. His hat plopped on a corner pole, while Brocken Jr was hanging on a rope facing Ramenman.

"Br-Brocken..." - Ramenman

"Ra- Ramenman... Hehe... 'F-face fighter' and 'Thousand Years Immature Hack', eh? That's not true.... I- I myself know fully well that I am an amateur no matter how hard I've trained... Isn't that right, dad?" - Brocken Jr

"That's why, I have always been respecting those with true powers. Like Ramenman, who killed my dad, and Captain Soldier. I thought I would be able to learn a little by watching nearby, but seems like this affectation doesn't work against the Perfect Choujin..." - Brocken Jr

"E-even now, the Ramenman who I have my aim on is struggling against the Perfect Choujin too in front of my eyes..." - Brocken Jr

"I-it's our task to teach these bearing the title 'perfect' of the harsh truth that there is nothing perfect in this world." - Ramenman

With that, Ramenman landed an elbow at Marvelous's back and got out of the hold. Marvelous quickly retaliated with Rising Dragon, but Ramenman leaped and landed Rampaging Beast Mouth-twist on one of Marvelous' dragon heads.

"That was-!" - Brocken Jr

Brocken Jr was quick to remember that was the technique used against his father. Ramenman picked Marvelous by his head and unleashed...

"'Fierce Tiger Barrage'!!" - Ramenman

"Th-there is no mistake about it, it's the same pattern that killed my dad!!" - Brocken Jr

"A man does not change that easily. Even when I was young, I took a liking of cruel techniques, and commited heavy sins such as killing off your father... However, I won't deny such past! Accepting and breaking through all honors and breakdowns, that's the only way for a man to grow!" - Ramenman

"Ra-Ramenman!" - Brocken Jr

"Especially for you, who is the memento left by my biggest rival in the past. You should have learned a lot of things since childhood!" - Ramenman

"Wh-what did you say? You're telling me that dad... was your biggest rival in the past?" - Brocken Jr

"And that's why I have used those cruel techniques and faced him! All that remain now is for you to place your hand on your chest and think deep about it. Now go, the son of my highest and biggest rival!" - Ramenman

Ramenman finished his words with an uppercut on Marvelous.

"Now that you said it, it seems to be clear now. Don't I have my own life as well? The life being supported by admirable and highest comrades!" - Brocken Jr

"Gigagiga! If you are not dead, how long are you going to stay there!?" - Crushman

"The once broken heart will no longer break again!" Brocken Jr

Brocken Jr leaped back to the ring and called back his remote-control cap.

"Wh-why? He should be crushed by my Iron Glove..." - Crushman

"Your perfect calculation might have killed me, but not this Brocken Jr!!" - Brocken Jr

Brocken Jr unleashed Red Rain of Berlin, but Crushman protected himself with his Iron Glove.

"Yo-you fool, what are you thinking..." - Crushman

"I realized now that you Perfect Choujins will call your opponents fool if they turn around disregarding of themselves! But I have my own way, I have my own way to win! For that reason, no matter what difficulties or obstacles, I have the guts to carry out my duties without failure!" - Brocken Jr

"Gigagiga, in that case, I will show you that you're all talk and cripple you, just like your friend Geronimo!" - Crushman

"Those words of yours... have set aflame the fighting spirit of the Brocken Jr deep within me...!" - Brocken Jr

Brocken Jr charged into the Iron Glove, with Terryman and Kinnikuman warning him that was a suicide. Brocken Jr landed a Tomahawk Chop on both sides of Crushman's neck. Crushman tried to shut him in, but he grabbed hold one of the steel. He twisted it around and...

"Camel Clutch!" - Brocken Jr

... snapped it.

Still airborne, Brocken Jr readied for another assault.

"Here's the Brocken Family technique left to finish you off... the All-or-nothing Final Strike, Red Rain of Berlin" - Brocken Jr

And he cut deep into Crushman's body.

The wall has been overcame!

Good fight. Crushman will need a miracle to recover from that. It's also nice to read more about rivalry between Ramenman and Brockenman.

Ramenman should be able to defeat Marvelous in the next issue or so. So I am curious on whose matchups will be revealed next.

Note: Next issue will be on 7th October 2012. That means two weeks from now.

I know everyone should expect an overbody, like what happened with Neptune King(Budo), Mars(Scarface), Mammothman(Micheal), and Warsman(Belmont), I don't think we should expect that in this situation.

That was awesome - first, Geronimo's technique, then Ramenman's technique and a finish with his own technique?

AWESOME.

Bonus points for making Crushman take the main attacks from the people he was badmouthing just moments ago!

I'm not sure if Mister Khamen is dead. The monitors said that Mister Khamen and Ste-Casse King were the only ones who were KO'd during their battle with the 1st Perfect Large Numbers Team. Atlantis and The Mountain were the only ones who died.

I still dont buy Budo losing/drawing. Budo stomped Mountian into a fine powder. Budo was clearly perfectly fine with falling into that canyon, and it obviously didnt affect him, so it doesnt even count as a suicide takedown. Also Budo can fly...

Wins and losses don't mean so much at this point as much as survival. And Budo didn't get suckered. He deliberately let himself fall down the canyon. We even see him crossing his arms standing confidently with no concern. That serves as an indication he's got something planned and wasn't taken by surprise at all.

Ramenman's "Hesitation"

The moment Brocken Jr has finished his move, Crushman has nearly split in half. Blood spilled out from the large wound.

"It's truly a red rain!" - Terryman & Kinnikuman

Noticing the rain as well, Ramenman noted that the match has ended. Seeing that Crushman was no longer capable to fight, Harabote called for the bell. Brocken Jr was declared the victor in that match.

"Brocken Jr is truly a man who will carry out his mission no matter the obstacles!" - Kinnikuman

"Yeah, he's man amongst men!" - Terryman

"I owe this victory... to late Dad... and also the comrades who has not abandoned a worthless person like me until the end... and also the teachers of my heart." - Brocken Jr

"Gi...Giga...Gi... In this battle, if only I had perfected the grasp on you with the 'Perfect Palm - Iron Glove' back then, I could have turned the victory around... Th-that's all to it... I am still immature as a Perfect Choujin." - Crushman

"N-No, Crushman. Your 'Iron Glove'... has indeed worked..." - Brocken Jr

Saying that, Brocken Jr fell on the canvas.

"Gi...Giga... Giga... It seems like this match is just a hair away... But even so, for a loser like me... I have to abide with the rule as a Perfect Choujin..." - Crushman

Crushman struggled to his feet...

"W-Wah! What's with him!?" - Kinnikuman

...and motioned his arm to his revealed heart.

"O-Oh no! He's going to commit suicide! Hurry up and call the lifesavers! There's no need for senseless killing within the ring!" - Terryman to Harabote

"'D-death to the losers'..." - Crushman

"Cr-Crushman..." - Brocken Jr

"Gi...Giga... I don't need sym-sympathies from lowly supermen..." - Crushman

With his own hand, Crushman destroyed his own heart. He then fell lifelessly off the pyramid to the ground.

"There is no use for lifesavers now. Carry Crushman's corpse away." - Harabote

Meanwhile, on the sixth steps of the pyramid...

"Crushman, you have my honor for ending your own life without hesitation!" - Nemesis

"He had just lost a single fight... There are supermen who have grown from losses!" - Robin Mask

Robin Mask gave Nemesis a knee to get out of the hold...

"Brocken Jr is an example!" - Robin Mask

...and an Enzuigiri.

On the fifth steps...

"Guu... I see... So that naive greenhorn has finally gained a complete victory..." - Buffaloman

Saying that, Buffaloman headbutted Turboman and threw him off guard. There, he grabbed Turboman...

"The Devil Choujin will not lose to that!" - Buffaloman

... and delivered a backdrop.

As Crushman's corpse was being carried away, Ramenman seemed to be lost in thought.

"It seems like Crushman's death has reminded you of something." - Marvelous

Ramenman launched a fist, but Marvelous was able to block it.

"When hesitation is born within the heart, you won't be able to pull out strong punches!" - Marvelous

Marvelous sent Ramenman down on the canvas and gave him a kick.

"Ramenman, I understand this hesitation of yours. It's true that you have been fighting for friendship and justice, but you have once fought with an easier mindset of 'laughter for the winner, lost for the dead' back then. There are legends who fought with both logics." - Marvelous

Hearing that, Ramenman remembered his past.

"Doesn't that just make you a manhunter that's no different than us Perfect Choujin!?" - Marvelous

Ramenman readied a Rolling Sobat.

"Gyuwa! I'll show you the terror of the Blue Dragon and Red Dragon resting on both my shoulders! Rising Dragon!" - Marvelous

Both Marvelous' dragons stretched out and grasped Ramenman.

"Twin Dragon Coiled Hold!" - Marvelous

Didn't really expect Crushman to kill himself outright. But that seems to have angered Robin Mask (And hey, Robin, even if I am a fan of yours, you have lost quite a handful of matches)...

It's rather unlikely for Ramenman to dwell on the past too much, especially after he talked about it in last issue. I am still calling Marvelous losing.

Having re-read the Ramenman vs Brockenman fight... how could he have been ramenman's biggest rival? He through his jacket over him, punched him repeatedly, then tried to gas him... then Ramenman did his triple combo to win... Doesn't seem like much of a Rival making fight.
