Having re-read the Ramenman vs Brockenman fight... how could he have been ramenman's biggest rival? He through his jacket over him, punched him repeatedly, then tried to gas him... then Ramenman did his triple combo to win... Doesn't seem like much of a Rival making fight.

I think he just said that so it will encourage Brocken Jr. to continue fighting and giving him confidence.

Regarding how and what happened in a past chapter in conjuncture with the current chapter, just roll with it. Yudetamago always do this, like Brocken's sudden fear of a cement match.

I KNEW IT!!! I knew that Marvelous was a master of Chojin Kenpo!! Plus, this proves that my theory has been proven that the Tatakae!! Ramenman series is about Ramenman's past before he was in the Kinnikuman series.

This match is actually surprising me. I actually wasnt expecting much from Marvelous, but this match is full of flying kicks flying all over the place and martial arts stuff and flips and spinning everywhere and it's actually pretty entertaining.

Edit: Correction, That is his perfect move. The kanji in the bracket says Perfect Rise. Even though I can't read Japanese, I recognize the first character from these images of Budo's Perfect Warrior - Helmet Crush and Marlinman's Perfect Sting - Spear Fencing.

35 is the one where they split up and the matches are decided right? Then no. I only got the signature or ultimate moves like Black hole's 4 Dimensions Kill, All Perfect attacks, Red-Rain of Berlin, Etc. I don't have the picture of them running off, sorry. I do have pictures of the new Perfect Large Numbers Team

I use a java based Token tool with a Screen capture option to get these images since printscreen won't work. If people want I could start trying to scan all of the images of the chapter.

"It seems like it is because of Crushman... That's right, when Crushman committed suicide, Ramenman changed!" - Meat

"Come on, Ramenman! You're the man with a thousand techniques! Do something about it!" - Kinnikuman

"Ramenman, if you are going to endure this any longer, your body will be split in half." - Marvelous

"Wha-!?" - Ramenman

Marvelous applied more pressure to the hold, bending Ramenman.

"Kyuka... What a pathetic state with both your mighty arms caught. It seems you have find similarities in Crushman's suicide... in other words, the way of living for us Perfect Choujins. This is rather possible, given that Crushman was the same league with you. Both Perfect Choujins and martial artists have lived for a perfect victory and witnessing a perfect death." - Marvelous

Ramenman started to reminisce his past, when he gained the "Middle" kanji on his forehead.

"By witnessing Crushman's death, the "truth" as a martial artist to pursue the perfect strength has awakened within you!" - Marvelous

Ramenman suffered another stream of flashbacks, this time when he brutally killed Brockenman.

"Justice... friendship... Don't you find it empty to fight for such ambiguous means?" - Marvelous

Hearing that, Ramenman reacted by forcing his arms out of the dragons' fangs. Using both his legs, he flipped Marvelous off-foot.

"That technique is...!" - Kinnikuman

As they got on the canvas, Ramenman had Marvelous in a Camel Clutch.

"Kyuwa~ So you have shown yourself. The fighting ogre hidden under the Justice Choujin's mask!" - Marvelous

However, Ramenman let go of his hold and went for a sleeper hold instead.

"That Ramenman! What is he doing!?" - Kinnikuman

"Y-you bastard... Even after witnessing our way of living, you switch to such meaningless hold when you thought you were about to return to the martial art ogre Ramenman..." - Marvelous

"While I am a martial artist, as Ramenman of the Justice Choujin, I won't change my ways." - Ramenman

"If that's your intention, suit yourself." - Marvelous

Marvelous used Rising Dragon and knocked Ramenman off his hold. He was able to stand up, but Ramenman followed up with a series of chops. Marvelous managed to deflect them after a while, and retaliated with roundhouses which Ramenman averted. Both fighters then clashed with punches, and leaped upward for a clash of kicks, as if it was a perfect mirror match. They landed down on the canvas simultaneously and out of breath.

"Marvelous, could you be..." - Ramenman

"Ah, that's right... Both you and I... We have fought with the same truth of 'Laughter to the victor, lost for the dead'... A martial artist like you." - Marvelous

The "dragon" kanji appeared on Marvelous' forehead.

"That imprint!" - Ramenman

"This is more than enough as a proof. However, even if we are the same martial art supermen, you have run off with the safe route as a Justice Choujin. On other hand, I have sought for the truth to live in battles and chosen the route of Perfect Choujin..." - Marvelous

"You are calling Justice the safe route?" - Ramenman

"Since a defeat can be forgiven, it is safe. But we Perfect Large Number do not have a word for the finishing touch*. There is only a perfect victory and a perfect death!" - Marvelous

Saying that, Marvelous sent out both his dragons and bit on Ramenman.

"A martial artist will be disposed by a martial artist! Perfect Rise - Double Soaring Dragons**!" - Marvelous

Ramenman was thrown by the force into the wall with most of clothes torn apart.

"Hmph, traitor..." - Marvelous

"Wh-why... Why didn't you finish him off with Camel Clutch, just like you did with my Dad? Or are you telling me that you start to hesitate as a Justice Choujin upon witnessing Crushman's suicide?!" - Brocken Jr

"Me, hesitating? I have long thrown away that immatureness. I have pride as a Justice Choujin, and that's why I have switched to a sleeper..." - Ramenman

And underneath his shirt was his shoulder pad used during his tag tournament.

Ramenman has no "hesitation"!!

* - The actual idiom reads as "to put eyes on a painting of a dragon", being the finishing touch that will give life to the drawing

** - Roughly worded as "Paired Dragons Simultaneous Flight". Unless someone can come up with a better translation for English, I am stumped for now.

Considering his matches during the Scramble for the Throne arc, it's surprising how Ramenman will opt for less deadly hold. Maybe there is something he knows about his opponent.

Having read Otokojuku, which had a bunch of Chinese kenpo attacks and odd sounding names, "Paired Dragons Simultaneous Flight" sounds about right to me, so unless someone can come up with something else, that's what I'm going with.

I'm starting to like Marvelous now, I just hope he does not die later on throughout this arc... I wonder how Peekaboo is doing?
I wonder if Chen Zong-Ming trained Marvelous and taught him some of the Chojin Hyakuni Gei?
