Then picking up shards of glass is no different from intentionally fastening a sword board to your hand.
The whole point of the dream tag arc was that the PErfects were hypocrites. It was even flat-out stated.
They're working heel guys. There really isn't a whole lot of point to debating it.

Out of curiosity, which series do you guys like more: Kinnikuman or Kinnikuman Nisei (not counting the Time Travel Tag Arc)?

That said, there's some amazing matches on Nisei so it's not as bad as people usually say, not including lame time tag arc.
What's your best match in the whole series? It's really hard for me to say.

Favorite match in the whole series? Wow. I need to think about that for some time. I'll get back to that later.
Here's another question in the meantime: what's your favorite story arc?

Favourite arc - probably Choujin Olympics: The Resurrection. Demon Seed boasted a strong start and finale, but the matches in between did not impress me. If all of the Seeds' backgrounds had been expanded upon (like Reborn Ashuraman's), it would have won by a landslide, though.
Favourite match - Mantaro vs. Kevin, Mantaro vs. Dead Signal/Road Rage (IMO the best "gimmick" match in the series)

Honestly, I feel that the best stuff that Yude has put out, has been during this revival. Granted, the original had to happen first, to give us a perspective on who these characters are... But this revival arc has had the most compelling story and best artwork, in my opinion.

There is one thing that I hate about the Perfect Chojin, they say that they don't use weapons, but that is just a bunch of bullshit!!:
- Neptuneman and Big the Budo use lightning and their Magnet Power as their weapons, Neptuneman uses the spikes on his vest as a weapon. There are times when Budo uses his shinai to attack his enemies.
- Mr. VTR uses his scene changer
- Motorman uses light to blind his opponents
- Bikeman attacks his opponents with his wheels
- Prisman kills his opponents with the Rainbow Shower
- Omegaman uses his Omega Metamorphisis and the fingers on his back (and place the heads of deceased Chojin on them)
- Turboman uses his Revolver Fin (which uses spikes)
- Crushman uses his Iron Glove
- Max Radial uses his wheels to kill his opponents
- Grim Reaper uses his Kill Hat
- Jack Tea shoots boiling hot water at his opponents
- Marvelous uses the dragons on his shoulders during combat
HOW ARE THESE NOT WEAPONS!?! THE PERFECT CHOJIN ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF IGNORANT HYPOCRITES!!!
Where Mr. BTR, Motormam, Bikeman and Prisman Perfects?
Anyway, I did enjoy Nisei, but I felt it did a poor job of managing it's roster. Gazelleman just became useless and didn't even participate in the final arc, and they really should have done something with Checkmate, i mean, why bring him back if he was not going to do anything? And then there was NOT bringing back Sunshine in the Demon Seed Arc. He is the one Akuma Chojin who had remained permanently loyal, you'd think he'd have been given his youth back by Satan or something as a reward, and then he could fight Checkmate.
As for the Time Chojin Arc, what bothered me about it is that it just felt insulting to the original series and it's characters. The Nisei characters just embarrassed all the old characters and it felt wrong. The Hell's Expansions Nova and Five Disasters match was painful to read for that read. I don't think the Five Disasters had any real difficulty in their matches until they faced Mantaro and Kevin. I'm still not sure what the deal was with Lightning. Was he a Time Traveling Warlord working for Satan who rebelled against him?

Regardless of the situation, Yudetamago more than deserve a break. Honestly, they really work their butts off to deliver Kinnikuman to us every week. So much work gets put into each chapter. That being said, I have no complaints at all.

Kinnikuman for me but i also liked Nisei i know i wont be liked for this one but i liked the Time Travel Tag Arc mainly because of the Time Choujins Thunder and Lightning and judging by the way yude ended it id say it was rushed i have a feeling Yude wanted to end it differently, anywho my favorite Nisei Match was definatly Kevin Mask vs Mantarou mainly because Kevins my fav Nisei Character and he kicked the crap out of Cheap Ass Fighter kinniku Mantarou.
favorite Kinnikuman Match: gotta go with Kinnikuman vs Kinnikuman Super Pheonix that was a good match originally i liked Akuma Shogun vs Kinnikuman the most but Pheonixs battle with Kinnikuman was amazing
King Muscle: I'll Have You Know I've Beaten Both Warsman And Neptuneman But That Was Back When My Stomach Didnt Resemble A Taffy Pool!

I have a feeling Gazelleman was meant to be a joke from the beginning, since he lands a grand total of one move in the entire series (a knee kick combination against Jade). While he has yet to fight a second match, he did help Mantaro train in the Demon Seed arc.
Similarly, Checkmate supported Mantaro during the Fire Challenge and briefly in the three-legged race in the Choujin Olympics arc. His fighting style may be a bit niched, but he certainly deserved a tag match in the time travel arc. (IMO, that arc really could have done with a larger number of short matches rather than a few that lasted hundreds of pages.)
Nisei Sunshine is IMO too much of a comic relief character to be taken seriously as a Demon Seed. Also:
Sunshine: O' Great One, grant me youth and power to defeat the Seigi Choujin!
Satan: Depends. How have you served me since the 80's?
Sunshine: Er, I trained a dumb dinosaur and this chess-piece guy who switched sides after losing a match, and then my followers blew the entire dMp sky high and... I should shut up now.
Satan: Yeah, you should. Next!

And yet Buffaloman and Springman were not forgotten by Satan, and Buffaloman actively trained the next generation of Justice Chojin.
And I agree, Checkmate should have participated in the Time Chojin Tag Tournament. Hell, he could have teamed up with Gazelleman and they could have actually won a match or two at last.

You're forgetting one key factor: Buffaloman is a effing pimp.

That's the thing about this series that strikes me the most - you really get to see Kinnikuman evolve from loser to hero, and it takes time. It's not just a single-episode thing where he "learns his lesson" and becomes Superman. He gradually sheds more and more of his Homer SImpsonesque qualities as time goes on, until you see him fighting for the throne at the end of the whole thing. And you actually get the feeling that he's earned it, too.

As for my favorite arc, it will be Scramble for the Throne. There are various of things which just makes me enjoy it more than the other arcs. Past villains standing up for the heroes, previous jobbers getting their time to shine for example.
The one that ends up as my favorite match will be Robin Mask vs Mammothman. Sure, there is a lot of inconsistencies regarding power level between those two, but it is truly epic when both of them fought with their life on the line (Pun intended). In fact, I was being convinced to follow this series after watching a Muscle Fight video that emulates that fight. Seriously, that's how powerful it is.

So there's no new chapter this week?
Nakai-sensei is pretty sick right now, so no new chapters for a few weeks. They are being vague about what's wrong with him.
The Scramble for the Throne is also my all-time favorite story arc in the Kinnikuman universe. There are so many great matches, every character had their time to shine, and it was the most significant event (the justice chojin were faced with a crisis unlike any other they had faced before). Yude really outdid themselves with that arc, and how fitting for it was the final arc of the original series. Honestly, it's going to be difficult to top it.
Ditto.
