anybody else happy theres a tag match singles matches are cool but having them all the time is boring as hell

I like tag matches as an attraction, but far and wide, I think the drama behind singles matches is much higher.
Like, Black Hole's journey through this tournament... It wouldn't have been as impressive if he was sharing that attrition with a teammate.

I expected Turboman & Crushman to be in a Tag Team. I didn't expect Reaper to tag with him. This goes with my idea that Reaper will become all buff by Turboman using Earth Link.

I figured there would be a tag match, since they made such a big deal over Nemesis and Polarman having a tag move, but it got interrupted before we could see it.

It was unlikely that Grim Reaper was going to lose in a regular match against Spring-Man, the likelihood of him actually losing in a tag-match involving Buffaloman, however, despite the air of authority he has as a perfect chojin, is now more likely.

My sentiments exactly. I've been looking forward to seeing Buffaloman in action. He's one of my favorite chojins.

Yude needs time because all the Tag Team techiques of Buffaloman and Springman have Buffaloman throwing Springman to foes and springman is boring

im inclined to agree with Shino619 i always thought Springman was a boring and useless character yude wouldve been wiser to use Puri Puri Man/Monsieur Cheeks like they originally planned to

"Both of them are focusing on Turboman!" - Kinnikuman

As Springman descended, Buffaloman launched him upward again towards Turboman.

"Hold it, both of you! These matches are ultimately set with the single match rules in mind! We didn't accept this as a tag match! So stop this at once!" - Harabote

"Since I've participated in this second stage against the Perfect Large Number, the one I wanted to kill most is neither that homo over there, nor that pig-nosed bastard on the 6th step, nor the bear guy at the 7th step. It's this trash of a robot superman who killed Stecasse King - Turboman!" - Springman

"And what about that?" - Turboman

"As if it needs explaining! It's on, motor mouth!" - Springman

"I see, such power in anger. It's certainly an explosive result." - Turboman

"Don't do this, Springman! Your actual opponent is Grim Reaper, and it's Buffaloman who fights with Turboman. If you swap opponents at whim, both of you will be disqualified!" - Harabote

"This has nothing to do with the rules!" - Springman

Turboman landed down the canvas after the another assault. But his partner seemed to be smirking.

"T-this is unforgivable! Ring the bell to disqualify both Buffaloman and Springman!" - Harabote

"How about stopping for a moment?!" - ???

Harabote looked upward, the speaker being Nemesis on the 6th step.

"Isn't this a rather interesting development?" - Nemesis

"Nemesis!" - Kinnikuman

"We Perfect Choujins have been passed down only one rule related to the stair pyramid. Warriors of different factions who end up on the same step will fight under a mutual term! If both sides have agreed to it, it doesn't matter if it turns into a tag match. Isn't that right, Grim Reaper!?" - Nemesis

"Nyaga-nyaga, it's just like what Nemesis said. If both of you wished for it, I will pair up with Turboman. I won't mind even if you want to change back to single match halfway. Right, Turboman?" - Grim Reaper

"Are you really sure about this? We are a famous tag team within the devil universe as the 'Diabolos'." - Springman

"From what I can tell by Turboman, I can see you Perfect Choujins aim for singular supremacy. While each of you have your own strength, it might be your downfall if you're to fight in pairs!" - Buffaloman

"Kukuku... What a load of nonsense! While we are strong alone, so are we in pairs! You should know better, Buffaloman, with your past match against the Hell Missionaries with Neptuneman and Big the Budo." - Turboman

Buffaloman faltered for a moment...

"Don't you ever think this Buffaloman here is the same man with that Buffaloman!" - Buffaloman

"Nyaga-nyaga. It seems like our opinions have come to an agreement. The only thing left is to get the approval from the space superman committee. How about it, Mister Chief!?" - Grim Reaper

"Hurry up and agree to it, Harabote!" - Springman

"Hmm... By default, a match cannot be changed halfway. But due to the sudden collapse of the step ring, and now with both sides wishing for it... In the spirit of the 5th rule of the space superman committee charter, as the chief committee, I allow this change of match!" - Harabote

The crowd cheered for this outcome, as tag matches are rare even amongst superman wrestler.

"I-is this a tag match a good thing or bad thing for the Devil Choujins?" - Kinnikuman

"I hope it's for the better." - Terryman

"Springman, I haven't team up with you since the tag match with Kinnikuman and Mongolman." - Buffaloman

"That's right, while we're a total blunder back then, we 'Diabolos' is actually an unbeatable tag. We'll just prove it with those egoistic trash right now." - Springman

"Hmph, what unbeatable tag. Don't make me laugh, spring scrap!" - Turboman

"Spring scrap..." - Springman

"You'll soon end up a broken toy... just like that cassette." - Turboman

"A-a broken toy...?" - Springman

"Hohoho. You're way too blunt, Turboman." - Grim Reaper

"That guy... that guy is... To me, that guy is..." - Springman

A flashback showed, with the seven devils performing pushups under the watch of Sneagator. Both Springman and Stecasse King exhausted themselves and stopped, alerting the taskmaster.

"You two toy-looking fools over there, stop slacking! If anything, there must be a mistake with you metal scrap being Devil Choujins!" - Sneagator

In a seething anger, Springman launched himself at Turboman, and the bell rang to initiate the match.

"Eat this, you toy bastard!" - Turboman

Turboman retaliated and caught Springman with a lariat. Turboman continued his assault with Starter Revolver, causing sharp spikes to prod out from his arm. He went straight at Springman, but Springman bounced from the pole and wrapped around his arm...

"Eat this! Spring Cyclone!" - Springman

...and landed Turboman down the canvas.

The furious Spring Cyclone unleashed with memories of a close friend in heart!

Partly expected Springman to dislocate Turboman's arm. But still, seems like we will be getting more about Stecasse King and Springman in the later issues.

Still, the more I see it, Devil Choujins are pretty much Justice Choujins in spirit. The only difference is that they are serving under a single boss.

interesting i wasnt expecting yude to go into a slight backstory with Springman oh well i guess they need to do something to make him a more interesting character

Buffaloman and Springman should be able to pull out a victory here, but I foresee the latter meeting a bad fate. Loving the development and depth Yude is giving to these classic characters.

Not so much that, more that the Kinniku-mask he's wearing won't mean that he is what he is trying to represent.
