about question 3 when you say it just adds to your damage rating does that mean your damage just keeps going up on your wrestler? or lasts for 1 turn or what? oh and what about the place that says If you are the owner of this placemat you recive 1 damage (i think thats how it's worded) would that mean your damage rating on your wrestler would go down?
sorry if i was confusing on that
now another question about standby wrestlers. Are standby wrestlers shuffled into your decks then drawn? or are the put out at the begining of the game?
i know i have another question but i forgot it! well thanks!

If it says "recieve one damage," it would mean add one to your damage rating until the end of turn. If it said "opponent recieves one damage," it would mean your opponent would get one added to his damage rating until the end of that turn.
As for the Standby Wrestlers, there's two conflicting parts of the Rules. If they were intended to be shuffled into the deck, they would've had identical backs.
As is, I don't think they were suppose to be shuffled in-- I belive they should be ordered before the game begins.
I've put up a site w/ a FAQ, card translations, and the rules translation at http://www.geocities...orgg/UMCCG.html and a post dealing with it on the board. Alas, I guess the mods didn't believe it to be worth anything, as it was deleted.
And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

time when opponents standby super wrestler card is in the standby super werslter slot."
Won't there ALWAYS be a standby super wrestler card in the standby slot?
Q. May an assist card be played during the Battle phase? For instance, if a player has a "Steak Bowl Tune" card, can he play that card to avoid a battle phase even if it is not his turn...........or may an assist card ONLY be used by the player whose turn it is (in this case, the player who initiated the battle phase)?

The way I think wally was intended to be is this:
The Super Wrestler Card that is your starting wrestler(the one you select to be in that space when you begin) should be noted. If Ramanman is the (bathtub) you start out with, then Wally would get +500 BP if he was trying to wail on Ramanman. Good Luck Wally...
Yes, this game has many flaws... but take away the flaws, and there's some gold underneith. It's actually a fun game!
NOW IF JONNY WOULD JUST GET THE FRONTS OF THE SUPER WRESTLER CARDS FOR ME TO TRANSLATE!
Even a big page with nine on each would work... I don't need the common ones...
But having both front and back would help people who don't have the hard-to-get Super Wrestler cards if they wanted to use them.

~A. Move your Micro Muscle Wrestler figure. You may move one or two spaces per turn.
~B. If you land on one of your ring decks or corner deck, take one card from the top of the deck to your hand. If you land on a space not occupied by a Ring Deck or Corner Dek, apply the Playmat Effect that is written on the space to your Super Wrestler Card.
~C. Use Assist Cards to add Special Effects. The Active Player (the player whose turn it is) begins playing any assist cards they wish. After this, the second player can use their Assist Cards. Both players continue taking turns playing Assist cards until each player has no more Assist Cards or stragically stops playing Assist cards.
Also, Steak Bowl Tune's rewording makes it a little more clear:
58 Steak Bowl Tune U
Skip the Battle phase this turn.
Thus, that turn will only have a Move phase(where the Steak Tune is played) and the Change Phase if somone is on their corner.

I still have a few questions thought. I'll post the only one i can think of right now
Q. Can a player use an assist card if it is not his/her turn and the oposing player has chosen NOT to use any assist cards? I'm refering to a situation where one player initiates the battle phase without using any assist cards but rather, immediately uses a technique card. Could the defending player use a "Factory T-shirt" or a "Steak Bowl Tune" card?

The turn doesn't move on to the Battle Phase(or the end of the turn, if the figures arn't in the same space or on a Corner deck) until each player is finished playing Assist cards.

Strategy is a good part of it, yes.OK, this may be a dumb question, but how do you win a match if all of your super wrestler cards have a damage rating of 2? Don't you usually play at least 2 cards to win a battle (making your injury equal to your damage rating)? Even if you play cards that add no injuries, you have still used 2 cards from your hand/decks to win the battle - so your opponent COULD just fold and pay the 1 card penalty (assuming that you have 1 injury from playing your technique card) and you would both be excactly where you started - dead even! Keep in mind that i have never played this type of game before. I just need a little help with game strategy, i guess.
This game is an extended war of attrition, though, so most of the time you will be dead even. Every game I've played has been pretty close.
Also, use the Factory T-shirt and the "Key Attacks" as the basis of your decks-- both of them add a flat 1000 Battle Points without causing potential injuries, granted, the cards are equal after the exchange typically, but not always.
If you have anything more specific, please ask.
Imp-- many of the commons have lower damage ratings-- the rares are slightly overpowered compared to the common cards, thus Kevin is a bigger badass than ADDVISARIUS(GOOD, KID MUSCLE BAAAAAD).

He has 1000 battle points (front) and a damage rating of 1 (front and back).
........cool foil card though!!
BTW, Orgg, do you still need a scan of Meat?
I can scan it for you if you want

As for the back side, read the erratta list and tell me when he'd be good.
It's much easier to see after I "translated" the ability what use he is.
Meat is quite powerful, at least the backside of him.

I just joined a few minutes ago. I'm new to the boards, obviously. I don't know if this is the right board for trades, but I have some duplicate stuff from the Ultimate Muscle CCG that I'd like to trade for stuff I need. Here's my haves/wants
Foil Haves:
Meat
Foil Wants:
Kevin Mask
Rare Haves:
Terryman x2
Rare Wants:
King Muscle
Robin Mask
Ramenman
Figure Wants:
Curry Cook (either color)
Figure Haves:
I have most of the figures from the packs, and duplicates of most of them except for Wally Tusket. Curry is the only one that seems to evade me. If you have a Curry or two and would like to trade for one or two of the others, let me know.
I hope someone is able to help me out! Also, I'm trying to find the right way to play this game. I've played CCGs before, I realize this one has problems, I think Orgg's translations are great, but I wouldn't mind keeping the figure tossing craziness aspect of the game intact. Anyway, glad to finally join the boards!

Wow. I've got a Ramanman and a Robin Mask, as well as a Red Cook figure.
I'm in need for my set of both Meat and Terryman(Not Kenyon). For the set, I'm also looking for Kinniku Driver for the set as well.
I'm also looking casually for some play sets of the best rares, but I doubt I'll ever actually get them-- and using them is sometimes kinda unfair, too.
