It's easily lost in a shelf full of Trash Packs and Lego Minifigures.
I liked that cheap toys was a candy product and that the figures were cheap feeling. Minikin figures are fine and cheap looking but the branding and packaging isn't which bothers me. It should look like Topps made, rejected it and threw it in the garbage and topped it off with some crappy looking font. It doesn't have to be a carbon copy of original cheap toys but the premise or product brief should be the same. That's just my two cents obviously but it should be in direct competition with "Trash" packs.
MISSING: Still Jill series 2 Cheap toy. It's not mine, but it might be yours. If willing please trade or sell to me. Thank you!

I just noticed the Topps product release sales plan for Minikins was posted here:
http://www.blowoutca...ni-figures.html
It includes a lot of details on the release of these, and while it doesn't reveal all of the remaining characters, it does show one that I don't believe had been shown anywhere else yet (see below). Not a very clear image, but at least now we know another character.

Nice find! Sure sounds like they're going to be in the same vein as trash pack, I hope not as squishy tho..
The 'top quality paint' sounds a bit of a stretch unless those protos are sub-standard and the release figures will look better.
Yeah, that was my thought after reading the description too. But then I thought since they just described them as "soft" and "bouncy" instead of "squishy" there is still some hope they won't be as extreme. It would be pretty disappointing if the material was as soft as Trash Pack rubber.
Hopefully we'll know the entire lineup soon!

MY thoughts EXACTLY ! Hopefully they are like the classic cheap toy material or at least not too far off.
Hoping that Scary Carrie figure is in the line up,she looks pretty cool!

Haha you can't wait ayeHa! Cheeky fuggers they've quoted me on their product brief. "I cannot wait!" I don't remember saying that haha. They've included the auction of that UK aqua leaky Lindsay as a selling point. It went for silly money because it was believed to be a series 1 novo but it turned out to be a a UK aqua.

I just seen that where did they snatch those quotes from CTL?

Dunno. It was initial excitement on my part I'm assuming It's waned now having said that the new photo of scary carrie has got me excited about the prospects of the figures unseen. It appears to be really faithful to the card. I think I've said this a million times here or elsewhere but my collecting days ended when I was 12 and I had a sweaty palm full of cards and cheap toys. I'm not really interested in collecting anything new or new releases. However if they do a really good toy from a character I enjoy then I'll deffo pick one up, Muscle Things Nasty Nick is a great example of that.

You can't please everyone but personally I'm really excited to see that some new GPK miniature figures are hitting the shelves and they actually listened to the fans about making monochromatic versions.

There's plenty of room in my collection for vintage Cheap Toys, custom fantasy Cheap Toys, and the upcoming minikin line.

Thanks for the support! Ok, how about a 10 figure set in 4 colours. Backers will receive a complete set in a backer-exclusive colourway PLUS an 11th figure not available in the normal sets. I better get back to my current sculpt, "Scary Larry"

I pre-ordered mine from Potomac Distribution, which was linked in this thread's first post. I never ordered from them before, but they seem to be a reliable enough source.
