Be really cool to have a map update too - showing the world map and lines between destinations he has travelled!
Something along the lines of:
world_pol495.jpg 96.52K
24 downloads
Obviously the arrows on this map are for illustration purposes only - not many MUSCLE collectors in Zaire, I expect!

Not least because it ceased to exist in 1997

This is a cool idea and something I may look into doing when I get the time - probably during the 2 weeks Easter break now.

Sorry for the delay. The weather in my area has been the worst it's been in quite a looong time, but I managed to get a few pics with no snow
upon arrival to the North East, US, MapMan met up with some of his friends!
I figured the best place to begin MapMan's trip to the Boston area was to have him visit the birthplace of America - Plymouth, Massachusetts!
Plymouth Rock
Next I took him to the great city of Boston! Here he is making a pit-stop along the harbor during our early morning jog!
MapMan said he wanted to see a great view of the city, so I took him up as high as we could go. As we overlook the Boston skyline, we can see Paul Revere's house and the path he traveled as he alerted the colonial soldiers that the redcoats were coming.
MapMan is now on his way to visit Cyndude in Sparks, Nevada!

What? He isn't leaving there painted?
i considered it, but it's not my figure and i think the consistency of MapMan in all these pics is one of the charms of it all.

Got Mapman a few days ago. Been swamped at work, which seems to be the case for everyone these days. I will give Mapman a tour of the Biggest Little City in the World, Reno, NV ASAP. Any requests from anyone here on our adventures are more than welcome. I can't do the black jack tables as Mapman has no ID. "No Mapman we can't go to a famous Nevada ranch, this is a PG tour!" Tour updates coming soon!!

First stop every ones favorite the Circus Circus.

Next the walk way between the Eldorado and Silver Legacy.

Ran across some giant Poker chips and had to let Mapman check them out.

And of course the all known Biggest Little City in the World sign.

Also in our tour we ran across an EPIC sight and had to get some pics.
BOOM! BANG! POW!
The Batmobile!!!!

Mapman will be off to his next destination by The first of next week.
Thanks to everyone for a great thread and forum!!

Mapman has arrived at his newest destination: Fresno, CA! He will probably have a somewhat extended stay with me, and I will post pics when he's getting ready to move on to his next destination.

I guess I should probably provide an update. Mapman is still with me. He had the misfortune of arriving just before searching for a new place to live (for the third time since November of last year, no less!) became urgent. On top of that, my clutch got a little wacky, so the two-hour round-trip we were planning had to get scrubbed. However, unless something goes horribly wrong, we'll be taking a trip to an unusual Fresno attraction on Sunday.
Edit: sometime next week, he'll be on to his next destination.
