Curry Cook: I actually have the card game version (can't find no seres 5-8 here). I like the G2 version because there was more detail in the scultp... However, I think they should have made the bowl on his head just slightly bigger)
Warsman: The G2 head on G1 body would be alright. They need to give him more of a Muscular Build on both sides.
Special Man: Technically it's the son of Special man (Special man jr) that's yellow. I think that the g1 is slightly better in proportions, and the G2 is slightly better in detail. I also wonder if he even counts as another character. I thought that he was Boaconda in disguise....

are nothing like the old G1
the first ones are and always will be the best in book.
the new ones are designed like monster in my pocket.
and probably never buy these new ones I just don't like them,
the commerical did bring back some good memories though,

i agree, Jeagers new mold looks alot better than the other ones. I really dont like Hanzos yellow figure, but the painted/silver one looks pretty cool.the silver/gold/flesh jade from 5-8 is pretty good.

Actually that has little to do with the discussion. Sorry; I'm feeling a bit ranty.

You are not alone on that feeing. The majority of people on this Board would probably agree with you. Personally, I love the Kinnikuman story both manga and anime much more than just having the MUSCLEs by themselves.I wish the G2 fleshies were pink. That tan junk isn't cool. I liked getting into G1 without knowing the plot behind the characters. Now that MUSCLE has gone mainstream, there isn't much, if any, imagination left.

True. It would be nice to buy some but, I just settle for reading the translated manga over on AK's site.Oh, how great it'd be to get my hands on some G1 manga.

Well, I disagree... Actually, I wish that the G2's had more pink like flesh colors than all those reds. that I agree with.I wish the G2 fleshies were pink. That tan junk isn't cool. I liked getting into G1 without knowing the plot behind the characters. Now that MUSCLE has gone mainstream, there isn't much, if any, imagination left.
However, I like the story of G1 Kinnikuman much better than "The Muscle Story"
Read a Kin Manga, then read the comic on the back of a Muscle box.
I cannot stand that Kin is portrayed as an Egotistical, Captain Courage of the Cosmos type action guy, rather than the "loser super hero" the Japanese grew up with.
I mean, If I never discovered this website or at the least G2 cartoons, I would have never made the connection between MUSCLE figs and Japanese Kinnikuman.
But hey, that doesn't mean you don't have a good point!
